I reserved and confirmed a larger truck with a appliance dolly. I got a smaller truck and no dolly. This caused a more difficult and longer move. Doubled the milage because of having to do two trips which made this cost more. Why call the customer to confirm everything when you know that the location is a pickup and drop-off only and has no equipment. Very disappointed and cost me more.

JOHN RMy only dislike was the inside of vehicle wasn't clean. The rep at 800 that handled my FINAL reservation was AWESOME. The previous rep reserved a truck that WASN'T AVAILABLE. The final rep was apologetic, and empathetic and got me squared away.
Pamela LI had reserved an appliance dolly as well, none was in the truck, no guidance toward how to complete this request so store manager assisted us in canceling the dolly from request. Off-site rentals are great, yet doing all transactions independently a bit confusing. Overall experience was great.
Karen WFor some reason I have a $22.00 charge at the drop off site. The truck is ad a full tank of gas when dropped off and vehicle was left how we got it. The dollies in the bag were not sealed together upon pickup so therefore we did not undo them.
Tami FI returned the truck on a Sunday afternoon and the person helping me did not know the password to get into the U-Haul application. So he had to wait until the next day for someone who would know the password to check in the truck.

DAVE TJOSHUA AT DROP OFF LOCATION COUBTY MARKET DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND WASNT TRAINED TO RECIEVE THEM OR RENT ANY THING OUT. I BLAME MANAGEMENT FOR NOT TEACHING HIM. Was nice but night shift manager should have stepped in to handle it and show him what to do. Obviously he didn't know either. WASNT HAPPY AFTER driving back from Ceder Rapids 4 hour trip. Hauling a riding lawn mower. Want me to take trailer back home and co.e back the next day when people was here that know what to do. Really!!!!. So If you want tp drop anything off at this location. After day shift leaves , Good Luck..NEVER AGAIN..
Michael HU-Haul changed my dropoff location when I was enroute back, when I arrived at the dropoff Uhaul directed me to, they were closing that the location manager said they were not yet set up for Uhaul, he had no way to check in, then closed. I tried to self checkin but the Uhaul site would not recognize my location and my phone was set to allow. I then called Uhaul, wasted 2 hours waiting for a call back and got run around, finally asked to return to original location and they agreed. Once I arrived at 2nd dropoff, staff there were not trained so it took another hour for them to figure out how to get car trailer checked in, I think they asked me for the keys 3 times. Once again, Uhaul system was down at site so retailer told me receipt would be sent to me. Overall, not impressed at all with Uhaul's customer service, it takes far too long - retailers not trained and it takes too long to get someone on the phone. If there were another moving equipment rental company I would likely never do business with Uhaul again - Very poor experience, I wasted several hours of my time for Uhaul incompetence.
Allen MArrived 15 minutes early before my pickup time. Lady at customer service had no clue how to check me in. She had to call the store manager to walk her through the whole process. The gentleman that helped hook up the trailer had very little knowledge about what he was doing. The people there have no training. Definitely will not be back there.

Jerald MThe only think I didn't appreciate was when I went to pick up the larger truck at the same rate as my original booking, the U-haul employee I was working with was trying to charge me the higher rate and it took several minutes for that to get straightened out.
Allen Muhaul really screwed this experience up overall...if it were not for the two young kids at the customer service desk working towards a solution to resolve this entire issue; they were the only thing keeping this from being a 100% total failure on the part of Uhaul and your reservation system as a whole.
Jeffrey CCounty Market personnel are not trained on how to issue or return rental equipment. They do not know the passwords or protocols required. I did the online reservation and check-in, had to wait 20 more minutes while they fumbled through the check out, then had to call corporate because they couldn't get the I-pad to work. I had to show them how to hook up the trailer, as they were going to leave the chains dragging the ground. When I returned it, they didn't know what to do, so they took my name and number and said they'd call me if there were any issues. I had to disconnect the trailer by myself as they again didn't know how too.
