The guy at the U-Haul drop-off also had a storage unit facility which was nice he was very nice very polite when I found out we were moving from Groveport Ohio down here to Louisa Kentucky he be offered as the storage unit told him what we had he said told us the storage unit size would probably need her he was very knowledgeable he was very very nice I can't say no no nothing bad about him at all these Lots in facilities were clean a storage unit was clean very very nice guy

Call ahead of time to make sure pick-up location has your truck, reserved 26' truck 5 weeks in advance, received confirmation. Three days before move, called to double check, truck already reserved by someone else 6 months earlier. U-Haul reservation line informed me my location (NAPA/Salyersville, Ky.) only receives one 26' truck. Crazy! What good is a confirmation? Just beware. Closest location with truck one hour away, one way. So 2 additional hours to my 3-hour move, plus additional gas. The Louisa, Ky. location/owner was great, gave me extra miles (new location exceeded allowed mileage).

When a customer reserves a truck a month in advance it should be available at the time and pickup location that is wanted not half a day later and 30 miles away. This is very inconvenient when you are moving one way and makes the whole reservation process extremely pointless. This doesn't pertain to the specific location this is a Uhaul problem.

The size truck I requested was not available at closer locations. I had to travel 30 miles to this pickup location. The agent was very friendly and helpful. He gave me additional miles to cover the extra distance.

The first truck that was given me was awful. I drove it about 10 miles & it was shaking so bad it was difficult to drive. I returned the truck and they gave me another truck that was fine. I had reserve 24 blankets which he did not have, so I had stop at another U-haul dealer to pick those up. Had to drive extra miles and you charged me for mileage & fuel. “Not right “!!

Clean your trucks to start! Not allow staff to smoke in the trucks!

Make a better corporate plan to move assets from areas with overstock to areas where equipment is needed. Maintain an adequate inventory of equipment at all locations, especially ones that are remote. Customers don't want to have to drive and pay for mileage that is not needed.

Pick up was for 2pm. Called location to be sure of where they are located, no answer. So drove to location and it was 2:30pm and it was closed with a sign on door to call another number. Once person came to pickup location, I told him I was to get a discount because I was dropping off at an alternate location. He said he knew nothing of this and charged me more. I then had to call back the Uhaul 800 number and they took the difference off my bill.

The owner at this location went above and beyond for us! My husband accidentally locked his wallet in the truck at this drop-off location - after he put the key in the lock box! Thankfully the owner called us right back after leaving a message and drive to the location to let us back into the truck. Huge disaster averted!

We couldn't answer any questions. We were greeted with a Drop Box. Location is never open you only get a person on the phone who tells you to drop off key and leave truck. That's uncomfortable when it's your money on the line if things are not returned on time. They could do better honestly. Good thing I stayed in contact with the 24hr customer service people. Then again it's a little town however I'd do things differently for my customers to ensure repeat business. Sorry just being honest here.

Although the sign said they should have been open, nobody was there. I really didn't feel comfortable leaving the truck without an inspection and verifying the gas was at the correct level. I had to just use the drop box for keys and paperwork.

Location tried to charge us extra $100 and the customer service that I called was the pop rested service I have ever dealt with. They all but said we were lying about the lights working inside the truck because the location told them they work fine no issues. That's funny they didn't work when we had it. Never using uhaul again!

This is a storage location, so it's not very appealing. But the personnel where friendly and helpful. I was originally setup to pick up the truck in Huntington WV. Because your traffic dept reserved an around-town vehicle instead of a drop-off vehicle I had go almost 2 hours out of my way to get the correct vehicle. The personnel at all sites were helpful, but your traffic scheduling deparment cost me alot of time and money. I had movers waiting, and had to spend more on mileage and fuel. May not look to UHaul next time.

I had made the reservation a week in advance to pickup the truck in Huntington, WV and was not notified until the evening before I was due to pickup the truck that I would have to drive 40 miles out of my way to pickup the truck. I will not recommend UHaul to friends or family and I will not use Uhaul again.

As far as I'm concerned no improvements needed. The U-haul place was very helpful and understanding of my needs. My truck was super clean. The guy that helped me took me out and showed me all about the truck before he even wrote up the contract then made sure I understood everything on the contract. I wouldn't change a thing.

I rated all the above questions not applicable or average because it wouldn't let me submit my comments without it. I placed my complaints in the other box. It is nothing personal or a problem with the locations. It is with Uhaul's service and how they handled this situation.

this location was a little more helpful the gentleman assisted me with parking the trailer how ever due to the lack of a hitch jack disconnecting was a real task. the gentleman with the location also suffered from a disability and was unable to assist with disconnecting the trailer. with quite a bit of struggle i managed to get it disconnected how ever due to this experience i dont believe i will ever choose U-Haul again.

It wasnt so much the location. The owner was very kind. I am more used to larger, cleaner stores. I was very disappointed that I needed to travel 40 miles to get a trailer when ther are multiple uhaul locations near me in Huntington. Furthermore, I am used to purchasing Matress bags, tape, rope, etc. This location didnt have any of that.

Lower your prices!!!I remember when Uhaul was acctually affordable. I found out the hard way today that your rates have gone sky high. You shouldn't be able to advertise those $19.95, $29.95 fees on the sides of your truck like you do. My $29.95 rental costed me $95 plus an additional $45 in gas for a 5 hour rental driving about 45 mins each way. Also, the rental place was below average. It was nasty. The guy told me on the phone he had a $19.95 rental that was first come first serve only to tell me it was reserved once I got there. I learned my lesson today - I will never use UHAUL AGAIN!
