One staff member in a "fix-it"/"dollar" store. When I left, I was feeling concerned that the vehicle would not be looked after/serviced. I 'had to inform the man that the rental dolly was in the back, and he looked surprised, indicating that he hadn't even looked at/read the rental info when he said he would email my receipt (not given another option). Not "bad" or particularly unfriendly service, but definitely not good service.CRISTINA L.

I was delayed 5 hrs because of poor customer service. The U Haul system did not accept my payment (3 separate cards) however the local Cellular store system did. The local shop worker stated it was the U Haul system. Overall HORRIBLE experience.Mario M.

The store felt weird, like a cell phone chop shop, full of expired miscellaneous merchandise. The man helping me required me to repeat every number I provided at least twice, seemed to not know much about the uhaul rental process, and was constantly getting distracted by other people walking into the store in the middle of our interaction.Wesley C.

The customer service was excellent and the panel van I rented was very well maintenance and a breeze to drive! There was even a backup camera with a display screen in the rear view mirror. I will absolutely be a return customer.Aurora T.

The parking brake was broken and had already been applied so i had to locate the brake release cable and release it manually in order to operate the vehicle. also, it would be greatly useful to include in the reservation truck rental details whether the truck is equipped with a walk ramp or if it does not.Heriberto T.

I order my truck 3 weeks in advance, a day before my pick up appointment Uhaul CSR called me and said self pick up is not available at the time of my reservation and they can not reach owner of the shop to request manual pick up. - the cashier entered the wrong gas amount, instead of 3/4 he entered more than that. My friend suggested me taking a picture and comparing to what is on the paper, however, at the end, the casher fixed it and marked his change with his initial so I think he's a decent employee. But next time, please make sure to check the initial gas amount before putting on the paperwork.Le D.
This location is a small market that also serve as an U-Haul pick-up/drop-off location. If you want to drop-off your truck, come back at least one hours early to complete your paper or find where the drop-off key box for online drop-off. So far it was a pleasant experience to me. I hope it works for you too.HIEU V.

The store wasn't open on Sunday, so the van key was left in a lock box on the door. However, it was extremely unclear how to obtain the password for the lock box. After finally figuring it out, the key was the wrong one for the van left in front of the store. We had to circle the entire store to find another van, and thankfully, that was the correct van for the keys left. Unfortunately, the correct van was parallel parked in the back of the store between another car and a dumpster, with a brick fence on the driver's side. It was VERY difficult to try and get out of this parking spot and back up into the street. After all this, the dolly I had rented had been left out of my order.Kaitlyn O.
This was a random location where the representative didn't accompany us to the van and assured us it had no damage. However it had 2 massive dents on roof and a missing side panel. We went back in and noted roof dents but didn't know if side panel was just part of van design. This missing panel was picked up at the drop off location and it was implied that I caused this damage.Bronwyn A.

The return experience was horrible. I called when I was on I 5 and knew I waoukd be late due to traffic. No answer several try's. Vendor called when I got into town. I asked what time he closes. He said 6PM. The truck was not unloaded by 6. He said Thursday would be okay at 10AM. I was there at 10 store was not open. He came at 10:10 and told me he would charge me another day. His store sign send he closes at 7PM not 6. I could have made 7PM to return. He lied to me. I will never use u haul again. Thus vendor has no customer skills and is a very poor reflection on U-Haul. You lost a customer and I have other times in the very near future to rent again but not from u haul because of this vendorRichard H.

The store was closed due to vacation per a sign on the door. Had to call u-haul 1-800 line for support multiple times only to be told to just leave the key under the seat unlocked. Also, had the store been open, the business hours did not allow me return the truck on time. Very poor planning. The location of this store was hard to find because the name changed from Family Dollar Store to a computer store.Sun K.

I was supposed to pick up the truck at 10 AM. The person who runs the store came at around 10:20 AM and did not even offer a word of apology for coming in late. After that it was pretty smooth, but i would not recommend this location to someone as it does not give me the confidence that i will get the rental on timeRamesh S.

Reserved a PICKUP TRUCK through U-Haul's website. NO INDICATION that this site did NOT have pickup trucks. FORCED to rent a van at considerable extra expense. I was instructed to return the vehicle with a full tank. It turned out that the tank was not really full when I picked it up, because it required many more gallons to fill it up when I was finished. I would NOT recommend this location!!!Douglas S.

That place is awful!!! They were 15 minutes late even opening their store so I couldn't get my truck at the agreed upon time. Then he didn't know how to log in to get my contract. This was after he called the day before to tell me my truck was ready and to come get it. I didn't make the reservation for the day before and he was all mad that I wasn't coming to get it. This place is unprofessional and should not be affiliated with uhaul. If I didn't absolutely need the truck, I would have walked away and not given him my $1200. I wish I could get my money back the whole pick up process was a nightmare.Melinda J.

The tiny little store is not setup to rent U-Haul's. They did not have the dolly we needed. The truck was dirty and covered in bird-excrement. It took a long time to get the rental initiated even though I checked in online. I will not rent from this location again.DAVID A.

I did a reservation but when i went there they were unprepared and did not have equipment. In the afternoon i left the key in box later i recieved overcharges for 2 set of pads instead of one set ( probably they knew i am not going back for that extra $5)Mahdi N.

It's a dollar store so you can nose around while waiting. Owner is detail-oriented to get it right on the computer and he answered all my questions accurately. Previous renters had spilled food in the cargo hold and exterior was dirty but we didn't get blamed. Got a credit for overfilling the tank a bit. Definitely a bargain and the van is nearly new. The initial contract listed the gas tank as 3/8 full. The customer service agent, however, pointed to contract and said the gas tank was 1/4 full upon recepit of the truck key. Upon receipt of the key and starting of the truck, I found the gas tank to actually be 1/4 full. As a result, I took a picture with my phone at this time for documentation purposes. Upon returning the vehicle, I told the same customer service agent that the gas tank was 1/4 full as he said it was initially. The customer service agent then said the gas tank needed to be "more than 1/4 full". At this point I showed him the picture of the gas gage I took earlier with time stamp as evidence of the initial gas tank level which showed the gas level at 1/4 tank. The customer service agent then went to the truck to compare the picture to the actual returned level of the gas. The customer service agent then said the gas level needed to be slightly higher (less than the thickness of the gas needle) and said this would result in a $30 charge. I continued to point out both the picture and the actual returned gas level are on the 1/4 tank mark, and if there were in fact any discrepancy, it would be less than $1 worth of gas. After approximately 10 minutes of discussion, the customer service agent then called his boss while I waited an additional 10 minutes for the situation to resolve itself. This experience was very discouraging and petty. With many truck rental options available, I will never rent through Uhaul again.Paul A.

I am going to file an official complaint as uHaul lost my service after the cust serv rep who transferred the order to another location forgot to close it out, costing me 3 trips back and forth plus lost time and money I expect back.BAOTRUC N.

All was fine, convenient location for me to pick-up; truck cab was a little bit dirty but box was very clean; couldn't get the drop-off location, errors online, was told at location to call later, when I arrived called a location was given another, called them they didn't do it anymore, called 800 and transferred and got the location finally; great experience, would recommend to anybody. ¡Gracias!Francois D.
Over all these people did OK, but they close at 3PM and that ran me into a second day. Also their info shows to be on Stevens Creek in San Jose so I lost 2 hrs getting to the real location in Milpitas. Only if someone couldn't fine a truck somewhere else would I tell them to go thereMARCELLUS S.

There is only 1 truck for rent. I had reserved it on line and prefilled the applicatiion form. The person at the counter had to call his boss from home to come to the location to rent the truck (20 minute wait). When the boss arrived he said he didn't know that the truck had been reserved. Another 20 minutes to finally get on the road. When the truck was returned, it took another 20 or 30 minutes to finally get it checked in. I would definitely NOT recommend this location.don R.
