I was quoted a price of 550.00 went to 700.00 and paid over 800.00. My husband called the first location we were to pickup from 2 days before and our van had been wrecked but we did not receive a call. This rental has been a shit show from the beginning ! Will never rent from uhaul again !
larry wThe return was a hassle. The place wasn't open. And my page on haul app wouldn't load. So I couldn't do what I had to. Then customer service told me I had to pay more cause I turned it in late. I did not I had it 24 hours like it was suppose to be. Even now after me already saying 75$. They want more money?! I don't know why I owe anything?...
Angel DScott talked me into using my debit card. I realize now that it was so he could tack on extra charges. I was charged for fuel that I made sure to replace. I would highly advise anyone to go somewhere else to rent a truck.

Chad GTruck was dirty and had trash (e.g, almonds, wrappers, energy drink can) in cab. Fuel was also below 1/4.
David SOnly issue is the insurance offered on website increased significantly once I went in to pick up the equipment. Almost doubled the cost of the rental

Charles DI dropped off after hours so I had no interactions with any employees. The lot was very full so I parked behind another large Uhaul truck. I had the app on my phone to go through the drop off procedure but depsite many different attempts it would not confirm my location as the correct one. I ended up calling customer service and they also had me try different options... none of them worked. All of this had nothind to do with Comptons but it was part of the process and it was not smooth.

Dennis GWas told 7/8 tank of fuel and needed that amount at drop off but when we dropped off with 7/8 we were charged because drop off location said it must be full.

Carl MFirstly, I was originally scheduled to pick up the truck at a location 14 miles away from my home, ridiculous. After I was able to get the location changed, the new location seemed disorganized. They only had 18 of the 36 furniture pads available and these were not packages and many of them appeared to be soiled with grease. But my biggest concern was that I was told that I would be getting a newer truck. Shat I got was a truck that had over 120,000 miles on it. The truck only got 8.5 miles to the gallon. In my previous rental from U-Haul, a 26ft truck, I got over 10 mpg. I asked the U-Haul rep why he told me I would get a new truck to go across country with, but instead I was getting this old, on the edge of overhaul truck? He said it was the newest one he had in stock.

Brad FAgain, when dropping off the equipment, we gave the address to uhaul as to where we would be dropping it off. When we arrived to return the truck, we were told that "you were supposed to take it back to a different location." A place that we had no knowledge of the location. We specifically told uhaul where we would be dropping it off, they IGNORED every instruction and request, and did whatever they pleased. Very lacking in customer service, for being a customer service based business!!

Michael FI used online and phone reservations and every time I spoke with someone I got a different answer. I got to my place of pick up which was suppose to be a 24/7 location and it was not. Thank goodness I spoke with an employee who fixed the situation. I was almost 600 miles from home and almost didn't get the truck I reserved.

Kelia WThe 2 wheel dolly I rented kept dropping the left hand ramp. Found the retaining lock in disrepair. Dolly is only good for pulling because it is set up like a hay wagon. You can't back up anything. Poor engineering on Uhauls part. Horrible experience overall.

Tanesha BWhen I picked the truck up I was given a price and told I would receive part of my deposit back. I ask if the miles I was driving would affect my deposit and I was told no. Upon returning the truck I was told I owed more money than the $100 deposit I had left that morning. If I owe something I will gladly pay it but if I'm told a certain price then I expect that to be the price I should pay. I hAve to rent a truck again in 2 -3 weeks and after that experience I will look at renting a truck from another company.
