The oldest truck of the fleet. Ran horrible and super loud. Guy was super rude and had to find my own truck

Ken MThe gentleman who took care of me was courteous and handled my transaction quickly. The location was convenient and easily assessable. I was not required to take photos of the truck exterior or interior. If I had, I would have known the truck needed service. Although I had no problems with the vehicle itself, I was unable to read the mileage. When arriving at the drop-off center, I was unable to take a photo of both the fuel gauge and mileage together. I sent the photo of the fuel gauge and typed in the mileage (which only appeared briefly, immediately upon turning the key).

JENNIFER CYou need friendly staff. The trucks engine light was on. There was no gas in the truck and tire pressure was low. When you got in the truck the seats were broke you could not even move them forward or back. It was horrible and shame on the company for allowing to put that renal truck out there. Will never rent here again .
TIFFANY SThis location needs employees who are more helpfull. Van was not ready when I got there. Low air pressure in the tires, it was a cold morning so the windows were frosted. I had to take care of that stuff myself
KEITH LThe sign up process to rent a car dolly was ridiculous. It took over 1/2 hour to check out. The Rep had to call U-haul customer service to get the order to go through.
John WWe reserved a 20 ft truck but when we arrived they only had a 15 ft causing us extra trips and gas+milage. The truck was clean however we had it overnight and it rained. The roof leaked leaving our belongings wet. The attendant never did a pre inspection but texted me to make sure what license plate was on the vehicle and sent me an inspection link which expired before I could get to my destination 5 minutes away. Fortunately the person there when we returned the truck was more knowledgeable. I was very disappointed since I have used this place for at least three moves and never had this kind of service before. They have always been very good prior to this.

JASON GThe drip off location is fine; just a gas station with a small u-haul lot.
John ZCouldn't get his computer going waited for more than 30 minutes while he did nothing. Didn't tell us which trail or to get so we ended getting the wrong trailer and the guy had to change the paperwork and he used stock photos for the picture assurance and that's how I caught it was the wrong trailer. Just all around bad time don't recommend

Joe LThe truck has no A/C and sounds like the catalytic converters were missing so it was extremely loud.

CHRISTOPHER MThe 20' ' truck I rented was ok . The muffler was blown out when I started it . Driving down the road like that was really annoying. Ac didn't work . I was hot after my move and with no ac it was terrible in the cab. Doesn't anyone Ck anything on these trucks ? Going down 71 from Strongsville to Medina with that exhaust loud and fumes traveling around was bad . I have to rent another truck from the same place to empty my place out shortly . I would like some compensation for the first crappy truck .

Ali AAfter a week of me dropping off the uhaul, they called and claimed I never dropped it off. Turned out to be their system malfunctioning but you should NOT accuse your customers of things like this. Check the lot and do your job!!!! Very VERY disappointing. In the past I have been double charged as well. It's always something with this location.

John JThe app was very confusing as it had me in a different location that I actually was. It wouldn't let me check in for this reason. It did the same thing checking back in. I would try to chat on the app only to get messages telling me about an outstanding problem that I wasn't being told it was. So I walked inside after 45 mins of headache. The gentleman inside was quick, prompt and seemed to understand my problem. He had handed me the keys and I was out and uhauling with in 3 mins. Thank you for that kind sir!
Raphe LDouble check Oil Change status. Be sure tire pressures are correct. Double check for the presence of the gas cap.

Judi SCustomer service at the pick-up point was poor. The representative seemed annoyed, was not overly helpful, did not even go outside with me to look at the truck. No review of features, tips, suggestions. The truck did not have cruise control. That would have been a nice feature to have. The truck did not have a ramp. That would have been a nice feature to have.

Elizabeth MAlthough the young man assisting us was very friendly, he obviously was at a complete loss as to how to fill out the computer form and how to hitch up the trailer.
Georger WThe inside of the truck was dirty. We had to sweep it out before we could use it. Inside was dusty. The location got a low score because it was part of a gas station and auto repair shop that were not clean. The U-Haul service was great, albeit slow because the U-Haul system was down.

Ryan VThe only thing I would suggest is some additional training for weekend staff. I had disputed one of the photos due to a dent on the side of the van. I wanted to ensure that the dent was acknowledged. When I returned the van, the staff member could not close out the rental for my receipt. Having some training to ensure staff knows what to do. Otherwise, I would definitely rent from this location again.
Debra RI have rented from uhaul many many times and never have I ever been so disappointed. First I would make the reservation it would say all good then a few hours later I'd get an email saying this equipment isn't available we changed it to this. I had to message several times to stop changing everything that cancel it. I get to Sprague Rd location had to wait long wait. The truck was absolutely disgusting and had a very strong odor. Furniture pad bag ripped open no dolly no lock which right on the back of the truck it says your belongings are secured with a lock. The gas tank was at 1/4th tank. Employees claimed to be out of all Dolly's even though it was reserved. The truck had something wrong with it made a horrible sound when you put foot on break. I am very very disappointed in this experience and should be compensated on this rental or I will not ever use uhaul again and will spread the word about this experience.

william gTruck had 184,000 miles on it. It was just about worn out. Wiper blades were bad. Front end alignment needed, it tended to drift right on the road. Windshield leaked water down onto engine cover. Very tired truck. Columbia Marathon location was helpful but not much they could do about equipment Uhaul provided.
Keith GU-Haul changed the location without notifying us. We went to the new location and the order was still messed up. We had called several times and were placed on hold without any help. Then the pick up time was changed to an hour an half later. The people at Marathon were more helpful.

Brian GNot sure if I would recommend this to a friend. Upon pick up, the attendant was not very helpful. I needed to lift the trailer on to my hitch and pulled a muscle in my back. When I returned, there was a new shift there and they were helpful.
Steve RThe truck roll door was broken. I had to fix it because I needed to move antique furniture that night. They only gave me 5 of the 6 moving blankets & 2 were wet. I could not use on the items I was moving. The truck only had 1/2 tank of gas, that was just annoying. The truck had 185,000 miles on it, but got the job done

Sherry MThe truck I was given was in terrible shape. It was beat up, the seat coverings were ripped, there was no ramp and there were no cabin lights or lights in the back. There were just big empty holes in the dashboard where those controls belonged. I was trying to load furniture after dark and having no lights was a serious problem. I made my reservation online to include a dolly and a dozen furniture blankets. When I got the truck I was told there were no blankets. So I had to go home and pick up as many comforters and blankets as I could, and that of course added to my mileage charge.
