The person on the phone was rude. We had to check the truck in ourselves and we are elderly and not used to the internet. Uhaul makes this impossible to navigate where they can rip people off. I will never use Uhaul again!!!! And I will tell everyone I meet to never use them. Uhaul is a disgrace with customer service and how they go about doing business. I hate Uhaul!!!PAMELA B.

The drop off process is very confusing. Being that it is purely an online customer responsibility, I would highly suggest that the drop off process be reviewed with the customer at the pickup location. You can not promised us a pick up of three miles from our house and then the day before call and say the truck is 40 miles away, take it or leave it! We booked this truck 2 months out and had more problems then I would have ever thought..... you're not in the system, we don't have your reservation, that's not the price, who quoted you that, well this is a price now , it's only sixty five more dollars , you picked the wrong time to move everyone's moving now, your truck is not three miles away, your truck is 40 miles away ( that's 80 Mi round trip) take it or leave it! We lost 3 hours of moving time, $20 in extra gas , and $45 in labor "driving time" because of having to go and get this truck. The gentleman was nice where we went and got the truck but two rottweilers ran out and acted like they were going to bite me. My driver's wouldn't even get out of the car. And when I talk to people on the phone they acted like "it's your problem" do you want the truck! I did call a regional office in St Louis, she was very nice but again nothing could be done. We gave U-Haul 2 months notice and this was the appreciation. Pretty sure we'll never use again unless desperate.shirley M.

Located on the outskirts of town, the nature of this business is not one of "aesthetics" but clearly a pick-up/drop off point. That being said, the gentleman in attendance was very efficient and pleasant to work with, clearly a plus for any U-Haul customer.Patty E.

I made reservations over a month before pickup, at a location much closer but had to drive 50 miles to pickup this trailer because you had no other. A 40.00 insurance fee, he said put on bill automatically. Also the moving pads smelled like cat pee...??? Not a good experienceKurt L.

This was not the location I agreed to drop off the truck and blankets. I was supposed to drop them off at the Colonial Inn at High Hill, MO. When I got there, the motel manager told me I could not drop the truck there since he was closing the motel. Yet there was a U-Haul truck and trailer sitting on his lot. He told me I had to take the truck to a drop point in Jonesburg, MO, some miles away, also using my miles and gas. Fortunately the gentleman at this location was understanding. He was the only bright spot in my dealings with U-Haul. In no way can I recommend U-Haul to anyone and will look to another company next time.Brian G.

agent was friendly and helpful, but I don't think it's a good idea to let the guard dogs run loose. they weren't mean, but they jump on you and lick you and jump on you're vehicle which gets you dirty and smelling like dog and could get scratchs in the finish on you're vehicle.michael W.

When I reserved this trailer, I originally wanted to rent it from 4pm to 4pm. Because the location was closed after 2pm on Sunday, I was forced to pick it up earlier than I needed. When I discussed this with the representative at U-Haul, I was told that the location was somewhat flexible and I would not be charged for a second day if I was a little late. If 46 minutes does not constitute as being a little late, ten I guess I will have to reconsider using U-Haul in the future. Bottom line, don't make statements you don't intend on honoring! We needed to keep the truck for an extra day and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I called to ask what the additional charge would be we were told an extra day fee and fee for our insurance. Instead we were charged over $100 an extra mileage and a $25 cleaning fee which we had no knowledge of. This was not the fault of the location but when I emailed UHaul top inquire, I never received an answer.Christina T.

I was upset they changed the location. I didn't have a problem with them asking us to drop something off but I thought they should have discounted us for dropping something off for them because it was a extra trip to stl extra gas extra time extra milage on our vehicle and out of our day. But other then that it was great service. The location pick up was hard because we got lost for 45 min because we didn't know the area and map quest gave us wrong directions. But customer service and all employees were very nice and helpful. We will use uhaul in the future thank you.TIFFANY P.

The place looked abandoned and nobody there to check you in.plus they try to charge you for cleaning the truck when it's cleaner than when you pick it up and try to charge you for more gas than what was in the tank.oh and take pics before you drive the truck odometer gas tank and any existing damage or you will pay for ithoward W.

I would recommend someone who had at least a small understanding of customer service. The address isn't correct and when I called for directions the man was extremely rude and was zero help. By far the worst experience I have ever had when dealing with U haul. Then they over charged me for gas. Absolutely terrible experience.KATHLEEN G.

The gentleman that checked in the truck was very nice. Apparently he wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital immediately after taking my paperwork. He accidently transposed the mileage numbers from what should have been 123796 but he recorded as 123976. I believe he has reported the mistake. I called U-Haul to review. Poor man spent Christmas in the hospital. Prayers for a quick recovery. Also kuddos to Stacey Trailer U-Haul Customer Service Rep. She went above and beyond on this busy day to help.Lisa W.

I was extremely disappointed that I had to return the truck to the same location, which doubled my mileage, instead of dropping off the truck at a location nearer to the address I was moving to. Not only would I not recommend this location to a friend, I would not even recommend U-Haul to a friend. Clean the cab. It was trashed, the steering wheel was sticky with dried soda , which was also spilled and dried on the door, the door handle and floor. The floor was covered with chips and other snack food droppings on the floor. There was only 1/4 tank of gas in it when I received it, so I had to take the time to fill it up. Don't pick up the cat and throw it across the room when it gets on your work space. Don't allow the customer to be greeted by a Rottweiler (although the dog was docile, it was an adrenaline rush when the door opened. Don't smoke in the office which was so thick it made me gag and my wife couldn't even stand to wait with me for the check in process. The attendant was cordial, but I would tell others to avoid this location if possible.DOUG F.

They did not have the light assembly needed to haul the trailer. Had to go to Wal-Mart to purchase, then return (about an hour). Then was charged the regular rate for a 5x8 instead of the agreed upon rate for the 4x8 (since it was not available). However, I did promptly receive a refund when I saw the error.JERRY B.
Well let's start by talking about the call my wife made to resever the truck . A man by the name Tim laughed at my. Wife and told her she had some balls asking for a truck at cheap rate . Why she still renting the truck I don't know . So then we get the truck and its not the biggest like we were told so we paid 139 for a truck that only did half of what we needed . Thank god for friends with trucks because uhaul just. Doesn't cut it . Even the drop off was screwed up we had a uhaul place right across the street but we had to go 15 min out of our way .DANIELLE S.
