It got the job done and that's all that matters. Only thing I wish could be changed is the availability shown to customers and system when picking up using a mobile no employee process. I understand that may be a corporate thing though. That caused me to struggle and be late during my pickup! Truck I wanted was blocked in, then the incorrect keys in bin.. thanks to regional she fixed it.Alex R.

Due to scheduling conflict, no one was there at the time of my pick up. I also had problems with the online pickup because the site kept freezing up. The person that helped me on the phone was very nice and offered me a $50 credit for my troubles, however, when I returned the truck, the online charges did not reflect my credit.Daryl W.

The only thing was, that, there was something wrong with one of the tires or something. It won't turn when backing up and doing a turn, it would go straight and could not direct it. Luckily I only drove it forward.Jose R.

You can start by getting rid of this â€˜book online' feature. When I'm renting a vehicle and let's say I have a question or if there's an isssue with the vehicle , I have a live person I can talk to. But instead I arrive at the location (which was closed) and was not aware of the lock boxes so while trying to navigate your automated phone system in 107 degree heat to figure out what's going on. I notice a young man in what looks to be a uhaul uniform. I approach him for assistance and he was rude and snarky and made me feel stupid for not knowing. Then I finally get into the truck and drive away. I didn't make it a single block before the truck shut off in traffic. I'm trying to call you guys once again. and get irritated and hang up and proceed trying to start this truck so I can help my sick mother move. The van starts and is shaking like it's out of gas. Mind you I just picked this van up ! I go to the gas station and add gas and let the van run for 10 minutes before heading to my mothers house... Long story short , next time I need to move something I will just save my money and sanity and just reach out to a friend with a pick up truck.Jamel W.

Did not communicate with any personnel used 24/7 drop off was somewhat easy but I was not instructed where to leave key so the key was placed in the drop box I just hope I didn't cause anybody any troubles be a use a key not in the said location we had a rough move and it sucks having issues pop upDennis P.

Was charged .99 per mile instead of .79 cents per mile. Also pointed out some damage on the truck and was told they don't count that damage.JUSTIN F.
I rented the trailer indicating a pick up location in Corona at 0700 on Monday; NEVER got a call from UHaul about the change of location, and that the new location opens at 1000; only found out when I stopped by the Corona Uhaul to check on a collateral issue. EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION or really no communication at all! The only positive comment I have is that Sherry at the pick up location was helpful & kind!Michael S.

Express check-in did not work..frustrating! Clerk did not know what she was doing. Could not find keys to truck. Had no furniture pads as ordered. Truck was out of gas! Went to get gas and gas line had been cut and gas spilled on ground. Went up the block to U-Haul location to exchange truck. Was treated better there. After an hour and a half delay...finally got truck.Christine M.

The van I rented was filthy inside and out and I had also ordered moving boxes and I also called prior to make sure they had them reserved for me but the day before when they called to confirm my rental pick up, they said they didn't have any boxes (even though I had already paid for them) and that I would have to go down the street to pick them up!Holly S.

The day I picked up the u haul it was making a loud noise like the power steering was going out. I asked the guy if that was normal or if the power steering was going out if I could have a new truck. He said the other truck is worse so u have to take this one. Just call the number if you break down. Then when I got to my old house to start moving there was a Lock on the truck and I didnt have a key for. I tried to call the place but there phones were turned off then I tried the virtual assistant which took forever and I didn't get a response so I had to go buy bolt cutters and cut it off. Then if that wasn't bad enough the power steering went out on the truck. But I couldn't get a replacement because of the holiday weekend so I had to drive it with no power steering which is ridiculous. I tried to call all day yesterday to request some sort of credit for all of this but of course there phones were turned off again.Amie S.

I love UHaul. I would only suggest that it's always good to ask if the would-be driver would like someone to go over the location and operation of the truck's (or van's) peculiarities because of course, not everyone has driven the model Chevy truck (or van) UHaul has for hire. It's easy to forget that, particularly in a place like Riverside, where every other person is born driving a truck. After asking the customer and getting a 'yes', this 'someone' doesn't have to be as thorough as a truck salesperson, but just enough to give the basic information so that the novice feels comfortably in charge of the entire dash board, strange knobs, and lights. My helper did tell me a few things, but IN MY CASE, I needed a little more detail. I don't hold this against UHaul in the least -- or the people at Circle K, whom I loved dealing with.G. M.
