Charles DDid not like the self pick up and drop off. The location felt isolated and unsafe especially fiddling with phone based instructions with my head down rather than dealing with a person or being able to check in and having more things ready prior to arrival.

I am writing to bring to your attention some unexpected charges on my recent U-Haul rental under Contract # 94123102 Upon reviewing my receipt, I noticed charges that were not clearly explained during the rental process, specifically Rental tax, Motor Vechicle Tax and Fuel Charge. Can someone please review and get back to me on it.
ZAHIR SSystem was down which caused delays but manager was more than helpful and went out of his way to help us.
DYLAN RI went to U-Haul in Brookline to pickup my 10am rental reservation and did not have a truck for me. They had to then send me somewhere else to get one.

ABDUL ANothing. The staff at the Monmouth Junction U-Haul is knowledgeable and helpful. The office associates had me in and out of the office quickly. Also, my U-Haul did not start and the response time by the tow truck driver was quick and very, very helpful. He got me back on the road in no time. They handled the problem very well and that's also a good mark of great customer service.

Toby SThe lady was 25 minutes late and saw me sitting outside and another customer in the office. She comes in to the office like there is nothing wrong and no big deal if she was almost half an hour late. No Hello. No Acknowledgment of any remorse on her part for the delay. When she started to ask questions, she was so direct and not customer service manner at all. She makes a comment to see if the truck was available for a 24 hrs even though I made the reservation for 24 hrs. Not sure why I had to give the same license and payment info again to her if I completed and uploaded the same documents online. No Issue there but just double entry. Also she was no help in identifying where the truck was just go to the front and look for it. When I got to the truck, she got so upset with my message that I sent during my 25 minutes wait in the Uhaul app that she came storming out and asking me if I sent a message and I replied yes. She was so upset and asked me to not part my vehicle in the parking lot anymore (Even though she agreed to it during the check out). I had to go home, have someone drive me back to the store to pickup my vehicle. She also said to not bring the truck in 24 hours but to make sure to bring it the same night otherwise something which I couldn't hear properly. Overall, she is the worst one I have ever dealt with in Uhaul history and would never want to see/deal with her again ever in my life. Thanks Jazz

From the initial questions I had about the size of the trailer and the possibility of getting a larger trailer, to helping hook up the trailer, including taking the extra step to return to the shop to tighten the hitch ball bolt, Circle Automotive as very attentive, efficient and complete. A pleasure to work with.

karim aThe place is like a trash collection center - so poorly maintained and disorganized. The truck has multiple alerts on the driver's screen. They charged me $1.99 per mile for a local move. I ended up with paying $110 for a two hour quick move. Won't be back again.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and dispute an unexpected charge incurred during my recent rental experience with U-Haul. On MARCH 24, 2024, I rented a 10 foot truck (TM 3425k) from a Staten Island, NY facility for 1 day, with the understanding that it was a rental for the day, not on a per mile basis. Throughout the reservation process on your website, at no point was it explicitly stated that there would be additional charges for mileage. To my surprise, upon returning the vehicle, I was charged an extra $49.05 for mileage. This charge was entirely unforeseen and not communicated to me beforehand. As a conscientious customer, I meticulously reviewed the rental terms and conditions provided by U-Haul, and nowhere did it mention any additional fees related to mileage. I am deeply disappointed by this lack of transparency and feel misled by the information provided on your website. As a result, I am formally requesting a refund of the $49.05 that was unfairly charged to me for mileage. I want to emphasize that my intention is not to escalate this matter further by involving my bank or any external parties. Rather, I am reaching out to you directly in the hopes of resolving this issue amicably and swiftly. I trust that U-Haul takes customer satisfaction seriously and values transparency in its business practices. Therefore, I kindly request that you promptly process the refund for the disputed amount and provide confirmation of the same. CANDICE KVehicle didn't have back up camera and back up alarm. It also has mechanical issue as it's not picking up quickly.
