David BI did not use the app (at first) to drop off the trailer. The desk agent had trouble reading the equipment ID from my receipt because the print was too small (make the font size larger). They told me that I was "all set" once the trailer was dropped - without a receipt. I was concerned about chain-of-custody -- how does U-haul know that I left the trailer before due-time? After not seeing the status change on my order, I drove back to the location and did the Return process on my phone. I did not want to be late.

David SMobile checkin / checkout was brutal. It took a half hour alone to check in , the app wouldn’t load and customer service didn’t know how to help.

Rose MThe truck we had reserved had a blown inner tire. Praise God my son noticed it before we left. Praise God there was 1 truck left for us to take as we were on a tight schedule. It also took another 30 minutes out of our time to do paper work for the different truck.

Timothy SFound the U-Haul app terrible. The app didn't work correctly when I checked out. It asked me to sign in right after signing in. No matter how many times I successfully signed in, it never showed me the prompt to check out. When I returned the truck with 2 miles on the meter, the app assumed the entry of the odometer reading was erronous because the mileage run was too small and never allowed me to proceed in the app.
Daisuke KThere was an accidental overcharge on the rental which was quickly resolved by your 1-800 operator. I was immediately refunded.

Andrew SThis location did not have the moving blankets as ordered. Compared to other uhaul rentals i have in the past, there was no safety review prior to my departure. Basically hooked the safety chains up to my vehicle - not following the uhaul instructions - and sent me on my way. I reconnected the safety chains as per instructions and no issues were present during my move.

RALPH Ci was very disappointed that i had to drive an hour and a half (each way) to get the trailer when i had reserved at a location near my house. I would have thought there would be some financial consideration given for this extreme inconvenience. It cost me gas and tolls to pick up which i really didn't expect. Richard TNo place to pull in with a pickup truck and 12' Uhaul trailer. While waiting to get assistance we were treated poorly because we were in the way, blocking access to an area behind a fence that someone needed to drive through. Parking lot small, not a good place to sit and wait for assistance with a trailer.
KYLEDAVID MRenting was not a good experience for me . . . I was switched from Chip's to a Brockport location, the equipment was switched. I had to call customer service on multiple occasions, over 20 minutes on hold then disconnected by rep before even saying a word. I called the Brockport location directly - they could not help, "they have to call the same number and didn't have time to do it". I called Chip's directly, they were great, reserved the same equipment that I originally requested. I got the truck, but the check engine light came on. I returned to Chip's, they checked it out and sent me on my way. I had some other issues but I got through the rental. Chip's was great - UHaul, not so much.

terry wLAKESIDE OF BROCKPORT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR YOUR RENTALS. BAD SERVICE. CLOSED AND SITE DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE. NEED LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
