Very minimal places to park the uhaul as the lot was packed with other vehicles. Also, there was no uhaul key drop box; just the car centers drop box. I felt terrible leaving the uhaul there and no directions/signs or instructions other than the generic uhaul site directions. The drop off location should have signs of where to park for future customers.

It would be helpful if their was a U-haul sign or logo somewhere in the side of the building with information for people dropping off after hours I didn't know where to park the truck, and i wasn't sure if dropping the key in the car repair key slot was correct.

I made reservations a week in advance, they had no idea they had a trailer going out. I did everything thing online for express checkout and was there for over an hour to get checked out. The jack on the trailer was not functioning properly but was able to make it work. Not sure if the trailer had been inspected but luckily made 950 miles without any problems.

I usually prefer getting my uhaul rentals at their regular centers instead of the neighborhood locations but thought that Chet's gave me the same level of attention and service as I would at the uhaul only locations. The person who assisted me, Paul, was a good guy.

Eric and Paul at Chet's were outstanding!!!!. Great uhaul representative!! COMPLAINT. TRIED TO DROP IN MADISON AT THE PACKER AVENUE UHAUL LOCATION. UHAUL SAYS CAN DROP ANYWHERE. I WAS DENIED DROP ABILITY. WAS NOT TREATED NICELY. VERY RUDE. BASICALLY WE REFUSE TO TAKE YOUR TRAILER. REPRESENTATIVE KNEW NOTHING WAS ON PHONE WITH?? MANAGER. JUST RELAYING MESSAGE. DAID UHAUL CANT MAKE US TAKE EQUIPMENT WE DONT WANT!! WAS -32 DEGREES IN MADISON. WENT TO CHETS. NICE FOLKS. THEY TOO COMPLAINED ABOUT PACKARD AVENUE UHAUL IN MADISON REJECTING EQUIPMENT AND "DUMPING ITEMS ON US!! DAMN FRUSTRATING" ERIC AT CHETS SAID Was disappointing Glad Chet's was professional.

Paul was great at Chet's Car Care getting me set up. I originally coordinated the rental through the staff at U-Haul of Warner Park, Madison for 5 days but when picking up at Chet's the reservation was for only 1 day but they were charging me something like $188. In the days and weeks prior I had verified my reservation 3 times with Warner Park to ensure everything was correct and still they botched it. Paul corrected the reservation and got me the trailer for the correct amount of days and charges. He was awesome.

As I parked the u-haul, I was approached by a worker of Chet’s Car care who proceeded to yell about where the truck was parked. The lot has no signs and no direction to park or return the truck. The truck was parked in a more than reasonable spot. I followed his directions as I informed him the online website says one thing and he’s saying another. It was confusing and very unprofessional. I’ll definitely do what I can to prevent my friends and family from using u-haul. This was only one issue of the many I had to obtain the truck. It would’ve cost less to hire a moving company.

I ordered a trailer online and received an email confirming the trailer order at the location I requested. Then just before pickup, I received another email again confirming my order. When I went to pick up the trailer at the confirmed location at the designated time, the guy had no record of my order. Looking more closely at the second email, buried down in the body of the letter, we found that this email listed a different location. U-Haul had changed my pickup location to clear across town and provided no clear notice that they were doing so. Terrible communication on U-Haul's part; the local pickup locations were left to clean up the mess.

It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get the uhaul because the computers weren’t working and they didn’t have the right equipment I requested. I had two movers, two handymen, and three chimney repair men waiting 45 minutes for me. The movers couldn’t move all of my stuff because of the delay and I missed an important appointment because the handy men had to stay later. I’m ok with delays, but this really mad moving stressful.

Apparently it was unclear where the truck should be parked for an after hours return. The person returning the truck also had trouble finding the key drop box. Possibly improve the experience for the next customer by labeling the key drop box and making it clear that UHaul keys can go in there as well.

Location was focused on auto repair work (their primary business). Trailer was installed incorrectly by employee and came detached shortly after departure.

It wasn't very clear where you were supposed to drop the keys off. We're used to seeing the uHaul drop box, but there wasn't one at this location so we just put the key in the night drop box. Unrelated to the location, I would recommend against doing the after hours drop off. We were charged "wrong location" fees for the blankets and dolly even though we were never given any indication that we were supposed to drop the equipment off at a different location. We're still waiting for this to be resolved as it amounted to $42 in extra fees.

Was not contacted that the location had been moved. Had to drive another 12 miles on the other side of Madison to get there. The person at the counter didn't really care and said UHaul does this all the time.

We had problem with the truck door which got stuck and not able to operate it due to tension wired was unwound from the pulley. We spent two hours trying to fix it with out any success, finally we have to disconnect the wire by removing from door. I feel this should have been well maintain. Not a good experience. Bhupen.

I highly recommend this location. They are an auto repair location that does excellent work. On my second attempt to rent from UHaul, they thought that the trailer they attempted to connect to my truck was faulty when the lights would not work. They refused to allow me to leave with this trailer and sent me to the corporate location where they did connect a trailer and sent me on my way, my thinking all was working fine.

Paul was outstanding Customer Service! He knew what he was doing and was very helpful. Considering I came in about 1 1/2 weeks ago to reserve the trailer with Matt that took down all my information and was to pick the trailer up on Tue. 8/30/16 I never heard or rec'd a call so i had to generate a call and Paul answered but the system showed NO reservation. Luckly enough I didn't need the trailer that evening after all. We were moving a child to UWEA on Thursday, 9-1-16.. Luck Paul was able to help me and have a trailer available!! Lisa H I would work with Paul again.
