Uhaul can keep honest with there hidden fees, I was told when I called it was 29.95 but when I got there I was charged 89.00 how is this, the guy was really nice and explained the hidden fees only to see this morning the overall bill was 93.00 wowowo I was thrown and I left more miles and gas from which I received!!!! There needs to be personnel willing to assist with unhooking the equipment (6x12) since it is quite heavy. The person on duty was reluctant but eventually â€œassistedâ€ with unhooking since there is no support leg to take the weight off the hitch ball.Les F.

Location above is incorrect. Dropped off, per the agreement, at 1300 N. Columbia Ave. Undesirable location. Limited parking. The link for checking out did not function properly so I could not complete the check out by documenting the condition of the rental. This is the 3rd time that the link did not function properly.Michael M.

Not only was the truck stinky, I was afraid I was going to run outta gas before I even started. I was told this truck would be 29.95$. I wasn't given a return location nor time ( it was returned on Sunday). When I tried to call the number I was given I got no answer from these people. I was never not once told this truck was going to be any more than 29.95$ other than my milage.Regina C.

Honor reservations. One agent advised I would be given more mileage for the inconvience and issues - those were not given or noted on my file. The phone system was packed - up to an hour wait for an agent - at one point even the online application went down. I don't understand how the drop location was wrong on my reservation - if the little man was not there getting a hold of an agent would have been impossible - I will use Uhaul again but knowing their service reliability is very poor, reservations, getting a hold of customer service and information available by the phone agents or site rental locations are poor. The people at the locations do not seem like they care to work there - the process and frustrations are a burden to them(my perception).William C.

The people working there were rude and unhelpful. I had reserved a truck two weeks in advance and called the day before to confirm everything. When I called, they said they couldn't find my reservation even though I had an email with my name, reservation number, and order number. When I asked to come inside to show them proof, they refused. The guy was very unhelpful, so I called the Uhaul 800 number, and the person on the phone said the man working there was wrong and then called the guy from their end. It turns out the worker at Checker Cab was wrong and didn't know how to work the system correctly. When I tried again to confirm, he never picked up despite me waiting on the phone for long periods of time. The next day when I got my truck, they gave me the wrong size truck. The truck not only didn't have a full tank of gas but had an engine light blinking the entire way. I voiced my concerns, but the workers there did nothing nor cared.Hannah D.

Check-in and check out is way too complicated. Luckily for me I have a son that helped his old mom. When a customer want two trucks don't expect them to drive miles apart to pick it up. Time and gas cost the customer. Gas is not cheap and people have schedules.Dina S.
My original contract was canceled without anyone notification to me. I showed up at the location in Sandersville to pickup a car trailer at Dixieland Financial Services Inc. I was told that they didn't have one and told me that this is Uhaul's problem and not hers. She was short and pretty much rude. I have done business with that location before and this isn't the first time she has been this way. The gentleman in Milledgville was nice and easy to deal with.George S.

The cab of the truck was dirty and it smelled strongly of cigarettes. I had to sweep out the back of the truck and there is a problem with the power steering. It would go out turning the truck around. I have rented several uhaul trucks in the last 25 years and I've always had a great experience with staff and equipment. While the staff was polite, the equipment was sub par.Patricia G.

They are locked in very small bldg. You have to call on phone and they tell you to park truck outback and drop the key in the box. It all worked out.Edward D.
THE SERVICE WAS WORSE THAN TERRIBLE YOU NHAVE TO CALL BECAUSE NO ONE IS ALLOWED INSIDE WHEN THE GUY ANSWERED HE SAID HE WAS IN THE BATHROOM AND WOULD BE OUT LATER.WHEN HE ARRIVED HE JUST POINTED TO THE TRAILER WHILE HE WAS ON THE PHONE WHEN WE RETURNED HE SAID JUST DROP IT IN THE BACK AND HE WOULD CHECK IT IN LATER.WORST RENTAL EXSPERAINCE I HAVE EVER HAD WONT BE BACK TO THAT LOCATIONNORMAN C.

It was an issue with the mileage and all the 1-800- uhaul ladt was concerned about the 7 miles I went Over not reality trying to solve the issues at hand . It would let me input the mileage. The night it happen I called and was on hold over 30 minutes and no one never came to the phone .Tenisha S.

Didn't get my U-Haul until an hour after my scheduled appointment pick up time. Truck wouldn't start. Called back in to let them know and was told to jiggle the key in ignition and push the gear shift up to the top and hard as we could just to get it started. No one ever came out to help us get it started. Also, the odometer was broken so we never knew how fast we were going. This location needs some attention.JOY D.

The man that worked there never came out of the office.He was no help at all and just told me to put the trailer wherever I could find a place. Also my recipe says that I didn't return equipment until 1/19/22 which is not true the trailer was returned @2:00pm on the 1/18/22. This is very unprofessional.JERRY E.
