Well, your website owns part of the problem. I signed up for a pick up location closer to my house, but you changed my pickup location w/o notice to me or apparently to either location - was removed from original & not added to the new one. Then, after 30-40 minutes dealing with a nice but English challenged clerk at the original location and a unhelpful person on your 800 number, the owner of the original location was able to figure out what had happened and directed me to the new location & called the manager to let him know I was coming. Well, the location shows as staying open until 6pm, but apparently closes at 5pm and even though the manager knew I was on the way, he locked up and left. I had to cross town to get to the Wayne St location in rush hour traffic & arrived about 5:05pm. Was able to get a guy to call the manager of Wayne St location by blocking him in the location and the manager initially refused to come back to get me the ordered trailer but he finally came back & I got the trailer. I wasted almost 2.5 hours in this jacked up process that was 100% avoidable and the fault of you & your vendors.

The truck's air conditioner wasn't working properly. The air came out the vents okay, but also blew hot air at your feet. We had to drive in 100 degree heat with the windows down.

She did not know how to read the amount in the gas tank and then listed the mileage used down wrong. I was charged an extra amount due to her inabilities. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not return.

There needs to be some type of advisory that if you use a card there is an additional fee of 50$ taken off the card and will not be refund until a later time. This was a major incovience to me!

The bed of the truck was slick. It was almost like oil. Someone slipped on it and was (thankfully) able to catch himself before he fell down the ramp. It felt as if the truck didn't have any shocks. We bounced all the way to our destination and back. It made a loud noise before it shifted into gear. Some good news. It was easy to return it. No problems.

The fat white man gave me a very very Filthy, Nasty truck which was not cleaned out. The man had to know and it was filled with red mud , big rocks on the back and black dirt. It was filthy and totally nasty. The man had to know it was nasty and filthy. I am black so he thought that it was okay for him to do me this way. And the truck had no gas in it. They don’t need to be in service at all. I would never ever use them again. When I asked for another truck, the man told me no. He just rinsed the truck out and tried to sweep only. He did not put soap in it. He didn’t want the guy who was with me to use any soap either. But he did and all that black city from years was swishing sround. The ramp had red mud on it as well. This was indeed a horrible experience. The man gave me another truck when aZI told him that I was not going to do this”rent trUCB” He should have never given me that Nadty assvtruck in the first place. He didn’t care about a black persons getting a nasty truck. I was going to get my money back. I think that I should get my money back the $ 300.00 back that I spent on the UHaul. The truck was very fifthy. It had red mud and black dirt underneath it. The man knew that truck was nasty when he gave it to me. I would never use checker cab as a uhaul user.

This rating is not for the location but for the leaking trailer I rented. I had several items wet when I arrived at my destination. Two box springs, one recliner, a mattress we’re all wet. It appeared the leaks were not new as there was caulking applied recently to the upper area of the trailer.

Upon picking up the uhaul from the Milledgeville, GA location, the owner Chuck was extremely unprofessional and reaching to touch my infant son while smoking a cigarette. His female business partner told us that she made the drop off location open and we could return it anywhere. Upon dropping it off at the closest location to our end destination, we were told that she put in a different location. A few miles before we reached our end destination, the check engine light on the rental truck came on. My husband who is a fighter aircraft mechanic looked at the oil dip stick to discover there was no oil. About half way through our 650 mile drive, the vehicle we were towing on uhaul property dolly began to come loose. Upon doing research online of how to properly tie down a vehicle according to Uhaul standards, it was discovered that Chuck from the Milledgeville location failed to connect trailer chains to our vehicle, the chains from the trailer to the Uhaul truck and failed to lock the steering wheel. Overall it was a very disappointing experience provided by the Milledgeville location, the customer service reps we spoke with and the drop off location employees were pleasant and helpful.

When I first called the number listed on my email from U-Haul I was told I couldn’t bring the truck there bc they weren’t affiliated with U-Haul. We finally get that situated and they call looking for the truck after we had asked the representative to put a note on it saying it would be a little after that date. Then we go to turn it in and nobody is there so we were told to leave it there. A little after that I received a bill for an extra day (when I turned it in the day it was suppose to be turned in) and for gas mileage. This was my worst moving experience ever. I have turned in a trucks after the expected hour before and never got charged another day and I definitely make sure I fill truck up back to where it was suppose to be.

I wasn't informed about 25 dollars cleaning fee. Even though I left the truck half tank full (a quarter was expected), I was still charged extra 25 dollars for no reason. I left the truck just as I received there wasn't any trash, mud etc.

Checker Cab was awesome. Process was seamless (from 1st conversation with them- to the day after when billing was completed) . Truck was clean and well maintained. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely recommend/use them again

I drove 350 miles. I was allotted 360. They charged me for an additional 1001 miles. There is NO Way I could have driven that many miles. My destination was 306 miles from point a to point b. Freeport FL to Milledgeville Ga. do y’all he math. I drove on Montfort 7 hours and turned the truck in. This needs to be fixed.

When I picked up the truck, I was told the contract was emailed to me. I was not told to open it and read it before I left with the truck. Item #1 on the contract is to verify the gas level, which I did not do because I had not seen the contract. The gas level on the contract was not what was in the truck. I only drove 40 miles, was charged $30 because the gas level I reported when I returned the truck was accurate. There is no way I could have burned that much gas in 40 miles. When I called the agency, the man told me to come in, see if he could do something. Then the wife came in, was defensive and not helpful. I don't think I should be charged the $30 fee when the agency had the gas level wrong on the contract and did not tell me that Item #1 on the contract was to verify before I left the lot. Am I supposed to just divine that info?

First, I reserved a 6x12 trailer, which apparently had a flat tire, which I was not notified about until I went inside to pay for itsome couple hours after reserving it. The clerk's very first words to me were "They didn't call you?" Not I'm sorry for the inconvenience, nothing, not even, I haven't had a chance to call you... We decided to take a smaller trailer because we needed a trailer that day and it was far way more inconvenient to drive 45 miles for the closest 6x12 trailer. We were told to go find it out back and get it hooked up ourselves. The clerk offered zero help in connecting it. We had to do several trips to make due with the smaller trailer and during the last trip I noticed that one of the tires were separated and had multiple hot spots on it. When we returned, before we were greeted, we were informed it was due back several hours ago and I would be charged a second day. Again, offered little to no helping unhooking, although the clerk did move it back into it's space. When we went to a second location to pick up new trailer, I disclosed the tire issue and was informed that trailer was supposed to have already a new tire on it, as it had previously been as his location. All in all, it wasn't a horrible experience, but I won't rent from that location EVER again. Zero customer service, put into dangerous equipment and not advised of time limits. No thank you.

They great at this location however, I made my reservations 2 weeks ago in Macon. Then you call me the day before saying you don't have the equipment there. Unacceptable!
