The gentleman at Century was very kind friendly and professional however I had rented a 26’ truck only to get a call late Friday telling me that he only had a 20’ truck because the 26’ didn’t get brought back so this not only cost me Additional money but also time because what would have taken one trip now is going to take two.and to find this out the day of our planned move it made it a lot on everyone involved.

Did not have enough signal to go through phone steps. Took around 20 minutes to upload photos of license. Was told that we had the truck through Thursday but when dropped off was told that I had a late fee. The drop off location said that they had seen the same information but was now also told that we owed the fee. took around an hour to finally check in the truck. Told the regional manager to take care of the fee or we would never use uhaul again. She was not willing to help.

Walked in without a reservation and they got me the trailer I needed to get a new mower from Lowe’s to the Northern Neck!!

I was charged for Safe Move Plus damage coverage, although I did not choose this as a reservation option. The rental location included this without my permission. I'm extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with your service.

This location was advertised as being much closer then it was. While it was shared as being approximately 30 miles away from my destination, it was at least twice that. Plus the location was very week marked or lit for an after hours drop. I was about 6 miles over my allotted miles which I probably spent looking for it. Had I known it was this far out of my way, I would have dropped at a location 2 miles away from my destination. This left a bad taste in my mouth.

Faulty equipment, rented 6 x 12 trailer, lights did not work, no lic. plate on trailer. Had 2 emergency calls to fix lights. Stopped by police because of no plate. Temp. plate had to be e-mailed to me. Very poor service not a good place to rent from.

I have confidence in thisTappahannock location but UHaul kept sending me emails to other trucks at other locations, confusing the issue. Wade did everything he could to accommodate us. I also spoke to Jill in Mechanicsville at the Elm St location where I was going to return the Uhaul, but your website diverted us to the Lombardy location causing us to pay extra mileage. Your constant emails and texts were very disconcerting.

I was charged twice and an agent told me that the second charge wouldnt go through and it did. I rented a uhaul on 1/19 and didnt get refund until 1/29. It really sucks that you have to wait so long to get your refund especially when uhaul has been paid already but overall the service I get there is always good so that won't keep me from using uhaul for future. Thank you

make sure the mileage matches,I was on a time schedule,I wrote down mileage that was on truck,When I returned it the man said I should have come in and he would have fixed it..So I got carged extra 34.14,26.00 of gas 144.00 about 220.00 for it all...I am on social security widows ,and disability benefits,so now I have no money leftover to pay the rest of my bills...I am angry and probably won't use Uhaul again..cheaper to rent a pick-up truck fom rental car dealers...

I had a little issue with the return. I had to contact customer service, , and after about. A hour later, the problem was not fully resolve, and cost me extra $ 30.00 Melinda with customer service did her best to resolve the issue.

The amount of fuel that was in the uhaul @ the time of rental was the same amount put back when returning it and they charged $14 more to my bill and I have a picture of the fuel gauge when it was returned. When I meantioned it I don't like the tone I was given.

WE ORIGINALLY RESERVED A 20' TRUCK THAT WE WERE TOLD WAS UNAVAILABLE JUST 1 DAY BEFORE OUR MOVE. WE HAD TO DRIVE 30 MI TO GET A 15' WHICH MEANS WE HAVE THINGS LEFT TO STILL MOVE. WE ASK THAT UHAUL GIVE US A REDUCED FEE CARGO OR SMALL TRUCK TO FINISH SINCE IT IS THEIR FAULT. WE HAD NO IDEA WE COULD BE CANCELLED AT THE LAST MINUTE OR WE WOULD NOT HAVE CONTRACTED WITH UHAUL. The servicer was too quick, he made a mistake on the drop off location because we guessed the location instead of just taking a second to look it up so I had to correct it when I go to my destination a few days later.

Arrived at 8:45 to pick up a truck that was scheduled for pick up at 9am. The store did not open until 9:30 and there was no explanation provided. Pushed our moving time back causing us to miss our open window time with our movers.

This experience was terrible, not because of the center where we finally got the truck — they were great — but because the whole move was ruined, and cost double — when U-Haul didn’t deliver the truck I’d reserved a week prior, forcing me to travel for four hours on the day of the move to pick up a smaller, substitute truck. The experience was traumatic, and I cannot imagine trusting U-Haul again.
