The U-Haul was covered in snow. Was given the go to counter option to find out after getting there that it was an un-manned location, so the truck wasn’t ready when I got there, I had to clean atleast 2 inch’s of snow off of it while its only 20 degrees outside and not to mention that we couldn’t get the lock unlocked with the code bcuz everything was frozen.

My wife called in to get help from the manager regarding checking out the truck. The person she spoke to was rude and condescending. If it had been in person, we would have had a major issue. That employee is working in the wrong field. We will make sure we warn others of this location and steer clear....

Kathleen PolkSite itself and the truck was perfectly fine. The website itself was incredibly annoying. I could not get it to work on three different web browsers on 2 different phones. I also called customer service and was immediately transferred to a dead line and was hung up on. Then had to download the app and input a bunch of information that could have been entered beforehand. We also requested an appliance dolly, and there was no dolly present when we picked up the truck.

There was no one at the location and when I called and spoke to a person the next day, he was not helpful at all. This was on top of having our pickup location changed twice and we had to drive 30 miles to get the truck. Then we were charged extra for mileage. On a scale of 1-10 this experience was a negative 10.

RONALD KILMERThe unmanned drop off location was an uneven gravel turn around surrounded by weeds down an old country road. If it was not for the nice phone attendant that did actually answer the phone I would have been skeptical to leave the truck here. **Caution** The key drop box had some sort of large yellow and black wasps /bees under the lid that caught me off guard, I dropped the lid smashing the ones on top. Opened the lid again dropped the keys and got away from the box. Was not a horrible drop off experience but was not a pleasant on either. My entire U-Haul experience was similar if not worse so perhaps that is status quo for U-Haul.
Joshua HarcarikI dropped the truck off at 1015am. It was due in at 11. Yall decided not to enter it till 215pm. In which yall tried to charge me for another day because YOU failed to be at the location at drop off. I will be disputing this charge for fraud because it was not approved by me. This was a very unprofessional location and I will not be using yall again
STEPHANIE KURYI originally selected Middleton Ace Hardware in Columbiana location with 24/7 mobile pick-up for 8 AM. I got a call two days before pick-up that the truck was at the Center RV And Indoor Self Storage location, but I read bad reviews and asked what happens if things go poorly. U-haul confirmed I had 24/7 mobile pick-up, so I shouldn't run into any issues. Sure enough, when I got there at 8 AM to pick-up, it said I had hand pick-up and would need to wait until 10 AM to get the keys. I called U-haul, and they fortunately were able to give me a code to get the keys, but claimed the screw up was because I was too far from the truck. I don't understand how me standing too far from the truck would say I have hand pick-up instead of just telling me to get closer to the truck for 24/7 mobile pick-up? It was resolved relatively quickly, just annoying to deal with when you select one option and arrive anticipating that, and then that doesn't work.
