I had ordered a 26ft and day before they told me they only had a 20 ft. Well I had to take it because I needed to move the next day. So I didn't have enough room ,so I had to make two trips .but I was charged same amount for smaller truck as the big truck ..I feel disappointed .some money should be refunded to me.thank uou

First off, I registered online and it said that I was ready to go in the morning and could just check in on line and grab my keys when I got there. I registered my credit card and id on the account that I started. I was really happy to have this option with covid-19 and having a daughter who has a compromised immune system. When I got there the guy (Richard) came out into the parking lot and told me to come inside. He did not have a mask on, his employee did not have a mask on and customers that came in were told that they didn't need mask and were told they "don't have to wear them at Walmart, either, and no one can make you". I was appealed. This is not an option here and the disregard for the current safety requirements were unbelievable. Then the guy takes pictures with his phone of my ID, for sure and I think my credit card and made me wait while his computer finished an update and to completely redo all of the paperwork that I had done on line, the whole time surrounded by so many people. If I didn't feel like I would of been charged for not keeping the rental, I would of just walked out. Personal beliefs should be placed on the back burner when it's not just your company on the line and you are a representative for another company. This left me feeling like I was not doing my best to protect my child.

Castle Pawn was closed and I was trying to do an online drop off. The gentleman was leaving work late, saw me, and stopped to help me and did the check in himself. He went way above board and was really nice even though it was 3 hours after closing. This is the kind of people you want working for you.

The uhaul Android app sucks. Using webviews instead of implementing a native application leads to poor user experience. It is very slow and took several tries just to get the return open. At one point I inputted the numbers for the mileage and pressed the arrow on the keyboard to go to the next form field. This did not work as expected and I had to restart. At the end it showed the final instructions to lock the doors etc. for about 2 seconds before it closed the webviews and went back to the app. This was not enough time to read everything. If I had not watched the video ahead of time, I would not have known what to do with the keys.

We were not asked if we wanted insurance coverage or not and ended up having to pay for it even though we did not want it. We use u-haul services often and usually drive to Spiceland, because of the poor quality of this vendor. Really wish we would have gone to the Spiceland, Indiana location.

I put down a deposit on a truck of $100 for $39.00 truck plus .99 cents a mile. I put 7 miles on the truck and when I returned it I was charged another $46!!!! The asshole that did the transaction clearly didn't know what he was doing or didn't even know how to use a computer! I know I got ripped off! Calling the better business bureau ?????????????????????? I WOULD NEVER USE THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!!!!

This rental was a nightmare for some reason my rental got double booked and the person who received it cancelled the PAID FOR reservation. Then leaving my bank account with not enough funds to REPAY for the rental. This however was not even remotely my fault. This was Uhaul's fault for canceling my paid for reservation. After spending 4 hours on the phone with Uhaul customer service i was told there was nothing they could do except move my rental for another day. I was moving ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I had a 19 month old in Indiana with a baby sitter that would not be able to watch him any additional days due to them having to work. I then had to pay the baby sitter $400 for them to call into work to cover that day of pay they lost. I explained all of this to U-Haul. Again was told there was nothing that they could do. I agreed to just book the Uhaul for the next day finally and was then told I had to pay an additional 60$ because the rates were different! MIND YOU AGAIN NONE OF THIS IS MY FAULT UHAUL CANCELED MY PAID FOR RESERVATION because there were 2 made. I only made one reservation. I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone ever again. I had previously got a Uhaul a week earlier so this company had already got 1200 for a rental previously from me but this MULTI MILLION dollar company couldn't bite the bullet this one time for their mistake to make this right for me. For their mess up. Never use U-Haul I'd much rather pay another company more money to avoid U-Haul in the future.
