Always perfect experience

John PThe truck was parked in mud on every side. The left front tire was low on air. I had to pump it a couple of times at my expense. A traction control indicator came on and off intermittently as well. The dealer couldn't be located without calling and getting the manager to walk over and direct us to the office. Could have used a 4 wheel drive to get to the office. Manager was not helpful when I had a problem. Rebecca, with road side assistance, was fortunately very, very helpful, and solved my problem. I won't rent from this location ever again. If the website sends me there, I'll call another dealer directly.

David AThe manager over the property had his dog inside the building not so much problem had he been in a cage the dog wasn't aggressive but I couldn't move with almost stepping on the dog i also ask could i use the wifi to transfer money to my account he said no password can't be given out because of securities reason i just thought that was weird
Jevon HWe reserved a couple types of dollies and when arrived we learned they didn't have any to use. We ended having to go buy a dolly so we could move. No attempt was made to let us know this was the situation beforehand and left us making several phone calls in the lobby trying to secure one. The location is difficult to get to due to the poorly maintained roads. I will never consider using this place again.

Mark CI literally arrived as U Haul was closing as I was unaware of the 1 pm closing time that day. ( another u haul location had kindly reserved the truck for me ) The store manager restated the computers and I was able to rent the truck that really had to happen that day. Very thankful.
Jesse IFacility was new, but where you park trailer is far from the main office. The facility is located in a bad neighborhood and not obvious where the entrance is. As a result, I pulled into the parking lot of a seedy motel (looked abandoned) that was down the access road of where the Uhaul facility was located. What I really did not like was that they told me to unhook the trailer myself in the parking lot that was away from the facility (near the seedy motel). I have never had to unhook any trailer that I've rented, and I've rented at 4-5 in the past year. It would have been nice to at least have someone accompany me in that dangerous looking area, while I unhooked the trailer. The whole experience was uncomfortable.

Bridgette BAvoid this place even if you have a reservation the chance of you getting it are slim to none. I would avoid dealing with the owner as well he to be is racist and blames the renter not themselves.

William JHours are short on day we dropped off. The location is rough for domestic cars. There was no one at the location and then I got charged $2.14 when we put $15 of gas as we left it as we got it!

Would be helpful if this information (phone no. or address) was posted somewhere so one didn't have to walk around a storage facility in the heat with no office or people to ask. The address shown above is not the current location. Once we called and were directed where to drive to, the employee was very pleasant and helpful.

Franklin TI’ve been renting u haul several times and I’m well aware of the fuel policy, so every time I make sure that I fill the gas tank properly and over the amount I used, well this guys over charge me anyway
sam aService was unacceptable as far as picking up the reserved vehicle. Checking in time set us back two hours on our schedule. Office was shabby. No restroom. We had to follow the attendant's vehicle to a totally different lot. He didn't wait at a stop light and lost us. I would not recommend that place to anyone.
ROBERT RWas told the lights were working on check, they were not. I had to transfer the load to another trailer after roadside assistance could not fix the problem.

TWYLA RMy main issue with the experience was that I reserved the truck almost 6 weeks in advance and 2 days before my move, I received a call saying the truck was not available at the location close to me. I scrambled to find another, but had to drive 20 miles each way to get it. I absolutely do not understand why this happened. It added so much more stress to an already stressful situation, as I had just had surgery and my family had all taken time off work to help me move. My suggestion for improvement would be to fulfill a reservation, rather than bump someone at the last minute and leave them to figure out what to do!!!! The Cartersville location staff and Byron location staff were helpful and courteous, but UHaul really let me down.

On top of the terrible service, realized when I was moving out that the roof had been leaking on my furniture. The question from the owner was, "Did you get the insurance?" There's no insurance for incompetence sand facility neglect. Epic fail.
