The pick-up went well and the agent was very professional, except she didn't think (nor did I) to check the tail lights. The top left tail light didn't work. It was noticed after I was on the road half way to my destination. All other lights worked correctly. I reported the problem to the drop off agent. The turn signals and brake lights were checked by the pick-up agent.

Computer issues plagued the process. Terry had to try to perform the transaction via multiple devices due to the system computer needing to perform an update in the middle of the transaction. She did her best to complete the transaction as quickly as possible. Your software needs to be tweaked to recognize the occurring transaction and wait for said transaction to be completed before performing any updates. The delay cost me time; a precious commodity we all need to maximize. And when you have people lined up to assist in the moving process, your software update is now wasting THEIR time as well. Computers, mankind's nemesis.

James DeversGive your customer correct address with correct location ! Info I received is Not Carters Country Corner , it should say “Sunbury Antiques boutique” located at 89 NC Hwy 32 N!! The Sunbury location May be owned by the same person, but if your not local no one knows any of this , we drove to Hobsville location first , then called & called & called the Sunbury location with no answer! Turned back around to go back toward Hobsville location when finally got call back to get better directions there, finally get there just to find out owner not there who does u hail rentals & there is no knowledge of our reservation for U Hal rental! So had to call regional office again to sort it out , then got resistance to even acknowledge our reservation & fix it !! Almost walked out at that point from complete lack of competency! Not a good experience at all, lost valuable time to use u haul since only had 2 days to get done ! Then incorrectly overcharged on phone , that showed up in email later after left ! Then after all that no one there to return u haul !

chris hallPicked up trailer and lady didn’t want to hook up trailer. After hooking up trailer tested lights and turn signals didn’t work. Was told she would make a note in the contract but she wouldn’t fix them. Very disappointed in uhaul.
Drew PardueThe bed of the truck was ok, but the cab was not cleaned. Cigarette butts, lighter, dirt hadn't been swept in the truck's cab. My husband is asthmatic and for the majority of the out of state move, we had to have the windows rolled down due to the smoke smell. The truck was not in the best condition and extremely uncomfortable ride. While the location was not extremely far, it was not right around the corner either and was in a totally different state. Yes, we were given additional miles to compensate but we still had to drive our personal vehicle there to even pick up truck which was an inconvenience as we were working with a tight timeframe. Additionally, this location doubles as a consignment shop and the opening hours are a bit later than traditional locations. The lady was nice but the equipment needed much improvement.

If I had known that the trucks weren’t available like he said they are I would have reserved it online. I’m still happy that i was able to get the truck but having to travel to get it was not what I was expecting but as I told the lady on the phone while looking for the nearest truck. I just know for future reference to reserve.

I drove to a different location for them to tell me that it was somewhere else. We received the Uhaul empty and only have $25.00 taking off our bill. The haul was dirty on the inside and out. When I reserved the truck it said it the Uhaul was not at the location I reserved it at I could get $50.00 off. And I did not receive anything. I was quite disappointed.
