The location was great. Unfortunately U Haul did not follow through with their guarantee of getting me my reserved equipment at the location I originally sent. Extremely disappointed in their lacking ability to provide what they promised. I ended up driving out of my way and paying more in mileage because of their lack of preparedness. This had nothing to do with the Mounds View location, and instead with the original Blaine Location and U Haul as a company. I would hesitate to contract my companies services with them in the future seeing this is how they treat people when trying to simply move a home.
Eugene F.The store did not open on time as posted. Customers have to wait for the store to open. Also, the person that open the store did not know how to rent out U-Haul equipments. I believe all staff should be trained on the U-Haul rental process and not relying on one person.

Jerome P.I rented a 10' truck to move a few things 60 miles. When I returned the truck I put 5 gallons of gas in it bringing it past where the gauge was when I picked it up. The man helping us outside did not offer to get us a receipt, just said that's good leave it there. When I was emailed the receipt later in the day he added two more gallons of gas saying it had not been returned with adequate gas. This made me angry and disappointed as I put more gas than I should have as it was. Only $8+ dollars more but it is the principal. I won't go back!

The truck was rented with only a quarter tank of gas. The mileage policy was unclear. I was under the impression that the rate included up to 50 miles, but was charged for a mere 16 total miles. Unsatisfied customer.

DEBORAH W.I have paper work showing that I rented a trailer for one 24 hour period. I've been charged for 2 days, even though the trailer was returned to this site, Cars Bike Shop, within 23 hours. My call to them, got the response that “they'll look into the charges�??? All my emails and my receipt show the actual charges! GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT!!!
FREDERICK M.The uhaul.com experience was a nightmare. I setup my account in advance and when I showed up to pick up the truck - after an unexpected delay on my end of approximately 1 hour - it took multiple calls to the 1-800 number to get the truck released to me. Very frustrating!

STEPHEN C.Overall acceptable rental experience, however there are two areas of improvement. The first improvement is not to change pickup locations because the new location was farther away than the agreed to location provided online by the U-Haul website. The second improvement is associated with the billing process. Charges processed on my credit card at the time of pickup were higher than provided online. The charges were eventually corrected, but it took time and energy to resolve the error.

U-haul should maybe offer to drive the available truck to the customer's preferred pick up/drop off location. 22 extra miles at $1.19/mile. Shameful, U-haul.
Duane S.I reserved a truck at 7am at one location, and a representative called to confirm at a different location that worked for me. On the morning of pickup, I went to the cars bike shop location and it did not open until 10. After getting through to a UHaul representative at 730 am, I was told it was changed to mobile pick up. I was not informed of this at any time prior. My Uhaul account did not say this was a mobile pickup and I could not start the process. I was transferred and put on hold again until 745 when the next representative made a change on my account so that I could begin the mobile pick up. I was not able to get the equipment until 8am. We ended up having to unload in the rain. To improve for the next customer, you should make people aware before hand that it will be a mobile pick up and verify that their account and reservation reflects that.

Peter H.Having the prices be exact online would be great. Do not like coming in being told I only have to pay $100 upfront and pay the rest after. Instead I ended up paying 247 for a one way? Why is a one way more expensive then bringing it back? Disappointed with price considering I have worked with movers who charger way less and do all the labor.
