The "after hours service fee" sucks. I returned the vehicle prior to 6pm on Sunday, I can't help the place was closed. And, what service is performed "after hours" that isn't performed when the return is "during hours?" If you're simply trying to increase revenue, add it to the daily rate, it's more honest.JOHN F.

There were no parking directions and the key drop box was nearly ripped off the wall. I did not really feel secure leaving the key and contract paperwork in there when any passerby could just reach in and grab them.Daniel P.

It took very long to get the uhaul even thought we pre did the registration online and I paid for a dolly I never received. The dolly wasn't In the truck.Angel Z.
Their after-hours dropbox was busted open, so when I dropped off the vehicle, I didn't want to leave the keys fully open for anyone to take. I slipped the key under the garage door to make sure the truck stayed safe. They didn't have a mailbox drop door, so I couldn't use that.Joseph B.

Attendant was sick. Coughing with covering mouth. Did not have mask. Location and office were unkept and dirty. When turning the truck in, I was told that the truck number did not match the contract. Thus the attendant did not fill in the paperwork correctly. Not recommended.LARRY G.

Your check out process did not work. The truck was stuck in the mud. This delayed me by about an hour during an already busy day. Because the check out process was broken, the check in process was not working either. The folks on the phone were great, but the whole process was awful.James S.

Hard to locate office with how lot is set up. Auto transport shook severely when picked up but I only had short distance to go so I hoped it would be ok. When I put weight on the unit it was difficult to even keep my vehicle in a straight line. Told representative and he said he would have someone look at it. I felt unsafe with this auto transport. Attendant never even apologized for my experience. It felt like - OH WELL - you made it back.GREGORY B.

The office is really dirty and unwelcoming. We reserved furniture pads for our move, but we're told they didn't have any when we picked up the truck. We had to go buy some and they are rather expensiveMerl S.

The representative try to charge me $10.00 cash to leave my car for a few hours, and there was literally drug addict walking around behind the counter. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:30am as soon as this location opened and the same rep that rented me the uHaul was the same rep that took the key from me in the morning. He said his cell phone had died and he couldnt check me in. I didnt think anything of it, but I had noticed around 11am I hadnt received an email from Uhaul that my rental was checked in. I called the store and they said he was doing it now, an hour later still no email confimration and I was getting worried about getting a late charge. I had get in my car, and speed to the location as I had 30 minutes between meetings (I work remotly) and ask the guy what the frig was going on? He then saw how upset I was, because it was 30 mins before my check in time and I hoenstly think he wanted to charge me a late fee so he can get money. This was absoulty disgusting and I will never go back here. This is not Uhauls fault, this is the location owners fault. I am not upset with Uhaul at all.Justin A.

They overcharged me for my tow dolly should have been $103 + taxes, instead they charged me $138 + taxes for a full size car trailer. I understand that I did change my mind, but the guy didn't know how to handle a refund for the uhaul and said that the owner would credit me back, later. Hopefully I will get it, but I haven't seen it yet. Also we had to stop and buy a new adapter because the one they plugged in was not working.BRANDY S.

Uhaul broke down due to my front wheel spindle snapped in half. The area manager said I still had to pay for the miles I drove it. Horrible customer service, I'll never use uhaul again.Joshua L.

The bed of the Uhaul had cat poop dried and a smear from the littler spilling and leaking. I swept the mess and scrubbed it myself. But not usual to find a Uhaul truck this way. The vehicle was sound and clean in every other way. Always love these trucks.ANDREW B.

Where the trucks are parked and where the office location is on the property was very confusing. Since it is in conjunction with a mechanic shop, the procedure of picking up and returning was very time-consuming. No one walked us to the truck or looked at its condition with us even beforehand although there were obvious scratches and dents on the vehicle. Parking was very inconvenient at the location and my wife was almost run into by a man on a riding mower not watching where he was going, People had to park in front of us and impede our leaving the facility. The truck was fine, but the location could certainly be improved upon.JAMES I.

The place appeared to be run by drug users. It was very run down, and you could tell they were struggling. The truck that i was given did not have breaks. Luckily there was a second newer truck available for me. There was no appliance dolly either, so I went to another location for that. The second truck i was given only had less than a quarter tank of gas in it.Eric S.

I was supposed to be charged $45.96 per the agreement. I brought back the trailer after 3 hours of a 6 hour rental, cleaner than what I picked it up and was charged $67.36. In addition I still have a lending approval for $46.94. What the hell? I never recieved a final receipt either as the guy there said his system was down.GREGORY L.

The equipment (26' truck and furniture dollys) we had reserved through uhaul.com were not available and no one bothered to call in advance. We showed up with people at home ready to move and were delayed considerably as the establishment tried to figure out what to do. We wound up with a 15' truck that caused us multiple trips to move our 4 bedroom home. In addition, we had to waste time going to another uHaul to get the furniture dollies. They promised us a $50 credit to offset the additional mileage we incurred, but it's been over 2 weeks and we have yet to see the credit. This is unacceptable. At such a stressful time of moving, we should have been notified IN ADVANCE if what we reserved was no longer available.Richard L.

Fix the app. I tried to use the app to return the utility trailer I rented. The app couldn't find my location after watching the video and going into my settings and allowing access several times. I knew someone would try to penalize me for the trailer being â€œlateâ€ so I took pictures and sent an email to U-Haul letting them know the problem. Of course I get my invoice and there it is. A $20 late fee for not having the equipment back on time. I was supposed to have the equipment back by 6pm. I had it back by 5:45 but after trying to use your impossible app I ended up leaving the parking lot at 6:30. I wrote U-Haul on 4/20 when I got my invoice to get my $ back but of course....crickets!KENNETH A.

They even were able to diagnose and repair a small issue I was having with my personal car and have me a great price on tires too! I'll start with the positive. Very nice people. However, the condition of the facility is not somewhere I'd want anyone to really go. The truck had a trailer on it and had to be jumped because the battery was dead. It took a long time to get everything and go because the internet they have at the facility does not work well.Ben C.
Office was a mess and they were very unorganized. They didn't have a working computer and we had to complete paperwork on their personal phone. None of the employees wore a mask and there was a cat on the counter. It took an hour to get the trailer that should hav taken 20 minutes. I definitely choose the wrong pickup location.Louis F.

Give the person their receipt upon drop off. They charged me for three days when I only used the truck for 3 hours. You can tell it was only used for one day and was returned the same day, NOT afterhours since the meter on had an added 27 miles. Also, this truck was not well maintained or disinfected to follow COVD-19 procedures. They also did not wear masks. There were three people who own the business there. They had cats all around the facility and even inside. Cats sleeping on tires and the facility was extremely dirty. They have shady practices. When I returned the car the business owner told me where to park it. The lady who checked me in told me to check for an email. I would tell everyone to avoid this location. I also recommend U-Haul to not work with this company anymore.STEPHANIE M.

Dirty, unorganized unprofessional customer service. The vehicle had issues before I left the said it was just a cold start. While we had it it broke down they sent a mechanic to fix it which took hours, then said it was the battery and suggested it was our fault not acknowledging the huge inconvenience to us. I have been renting Uhaul for a long time and never had issues. The corporate person was condescending too. This location is a mess and Uhaul dissapointed me.KISHA H.
