The truck had no gas when I arrived, the battery was dead and I had to jump start it. There was no hand truck. The entire area where the trucks are stored smelled like gas. Even though I immediately reported there being no gas in the truck to the 24 hour Uhaul customer service I was still charged for a tank of gas.Richard R.

I was sent to another location to pick up the equipment. That location had only one person that handled u-haul rentals and they of course were not there...so after 2 hrs of wasted time, i was sent to car city. Car city was great, but the 1st location was rude and ilequipped. Very dissatisfied.RONNIE S.

When originally reserving the truck, I did not select any additional options to include dollies or furniture pads, but both were in the truck. Since I had said I didn't want any extra moving tools when making the reservation, I assumed that at least the dolly was included with the truck. I have rented trucks in the past, and they always came with a dolly. When prompted at drop-off if I used the equipment in the back, there was no indication that charges would be incurred for the use of materials, that I didn't even ask for. I am extremely displeased that it was only at the end of the check out process at drop off, you see it was added to your invoice. It really feels like the company is trying to take advantage of renters and pull any possible additional charges they can. In addition, the fuel level was below 50% on arrival and the truck was driven 3 miles. At drop off, it prompted that the fuel level must be at 50% or additional fees would be incurred. The truck was only driven 3 miles, and I was expected to put more gas in then I even used. I will definitely be considering all of these factors when renting a truck again.Lauren C.
