The woman at this location was one of the rudest and most unhelpful people I have ever interacted with. I'm not sure why she decided to be so rude and angry when I was just trying to drop off a trailer. The UHaul self checkin was extremely difficult. The app has some major issues. We would take the pictures it requested and then it would basically get stuck there. We had to call the 1800 number when picking up and dropping off. Its not our first time using the self checkin, But it was the most difficult and wasted a lot of time. We didn't know if the price we were given was even accurate.george O.

Please have employees check all trucks and trailers m, we rented a trailer 5x8 to take to NY and back to NC and never noticed until I stopped at the rest stop on the NJ turn pike that there was a big ass wear on the tire past the threading on the the 3rd and final layer of the tire. We had to go so slow to get some where safe for help to come change out the tire. Not cool that could of been a bad blow out on the I95Shannon C.

Uhaul as a whole was a disaster today. My rental was reserved for 2:00 pm at a different location, business was closed and nobody set the keys in the box, so we called customer service and had the rental transferred to another location. The Instructions said â€œlockbox 4, code SLOTâ€ lockbox 4 does not exist at this location. I tried same code in lock box 1&2 to no avail, eventually it notified me that the keys were in the cargo box of the truck and the lock box was on the door and it was 4:30 pm before I was able to obtain my truck. 10 out of 10, I will never use Uhaul again, and I used to be a Uhaul employeeâ€¦Justin M.

I was contacted by Uhaul representative on Saturday and was advised that my original location pick up was change to TNT Motor. I arrived on time at 10:00 sharp. No one was there. I waited for twenty minutes and also called the proprietor twice, no response. I then called Uhaul and explained my situation. Their response was we been having problems with that dealer. Why would I be transferred to a dealer that there is a known problem. I will say the Uhaul representative was very apologetic and made arrangements with Cape Fear Appliance who were very professional and accommodating. This delay costs us about 2 hours of valuable time since we were driving to Pennsylvania as soon as we got the truck loaded. If you're having problems with a dealer why do you recommend them? It has been a week since I rented the vehicle and I never did receive a call back from TNT Motors.Samuel S.

I am not crazy about the location - and then a man aggressively approached me when I drove up asking for money . While the truck was clean, the customer service left little to be desired. I did not get the trolley and blankets that were with my order and I had to scramble to call U-Haul a round to see if others could provide me with these tools. Bare in mind that I specifically called this location the day before pick up to ensure that those were put in the back on the truck as I would be picking up the truck at a time they won't be open.RAMIEL N.
When I went to pick up the truck the location was closed for a holiday. They said that I could check in online and pick up the truck. When I tried to check in online the truck had never been added to my reservation. I called uhaul and they gave me a different truck at the same location. When I checked in online the combination that they gave me to get the key did not work. I called uhaul again and they sent someone out to help. When he got there an hour later he was able to get the kick open and told me that they have me the wrong combination. Finally after being there for 2 hours I had the key. He said that all I needed to do was park the truck and put the key in the lock box and I would receive a discount for the inconvenience. Not only did I not receive a discount but I was also charged an additional 50 dollars for 4 gallons of gasPatrick R.
The 24/7 method is atrocious. The process took way too long to pick up and drop off. Way too much frustration involved. I observed other folks trying to pick up with the same issues. I was not impressed.Raymond L.

When I arrived I checked in and received the code Blue to unlock my truck, but it didn't work, out of curiosity I checked the truck next to mine and it opened immediately. Confused I called customer service to see what was wrong just to be transferred 7 times and be put on hold for over an hour. After an hour the person with me used the chat function and within two minutes said Blue was the code for all the trucks. So then for another 10 minutes I reset and tried unlocking the lock over and over before it finally opened. I explained to seven different people my situation over the phone and no one gave me the simple solution a chat representative did in two minutes. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had and it all began with a stiff lock. I don't know if it was the locations fault for the lock, but the awful customer service was what ruined the experience for me. On some occasions after giving my reference number the representative didn't even bother to tell me they were transferring me, just because I wasn't in their area. And when I finally got transferred to a corporate number I was put on hold for the longest amount of time of all. I work in customer service, so I understand the hardships and restrictions, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had over something that could have been solved in 2 minutes. If I ever use uhaul again I hope I don't have to call your customer service again based off of this experience.David C.

I would recommend the location, but your 24/7 pickup method/ is terrible. The confirmation email gave my employee the wrong address and then he had to wait til the location opened at 9 so he was an hour late to our job. This rental cost me about $500 in loss with that hour delay.Richard J.

It would be very helpful to post more detailed instructions for after hour drop offs. I dropped my Uhaul off around 5:30pm on Saturday. I read the sign stating to drop the keys in the box and check out using the website. I had already dropped the keys in and was going to the website to complete the check out when I realized I needed back in the truck to complete the check out and it was too late. I think just posting something to complete the checkout before dropping keys would be helpful. However, overall, a great experience with uhaul.Caroline B.

Took over an hour to get the keys using the 24/7 app. The attendant was there and refused to help. The extra time pushed me late which made me late returning the truck. Returning the truck â€œlaterâ€ because I got a late start. Trying to return it using the 24/7 once again I was on hold over an hour which also added more time to the clock.patrick B.
