Inside was dirty. Wind shield wipers were substandard. Windshield was filthy before we even left the parking lot. Had 44 miles to empty when we got it. Steering felt loose and the brakes felt worn.Steve E.

The only issue I had was the door was very hard to open. U-Haul, in general, needs better tie down options in their trailers.DARRELL W.

I reserved a truck at Macon MO but got a call less than 24 hoursfrom your company uhaul to tell me sorry there is no truck available. I made the reservation saturday but it didn't get put in until Monday because there is only 2 people that do that. The person didn't even know that there is a ramp on the bigger trucks. I reserved the biggest one. The person did find a small truck 30 miles away. So I ended up getting that one. She did only charge me 79 cents a mile and I had to rent it for 2 days because they didn't know if it would be there. So my experience was not very good with your company. I don't know that I would recommend uhaul to anyone because of your service. I was told by other people that used your company that same thing happened to them also. As for the people at Kirksville MO they did just fine and we got my son moved.KURT D.
We were told that the location was closed on Saturday but there was a person in the back when we entered the premises but the person was no longer available when we needed help. Without Wi-Fi it was hard to complete the U-Haul return process. It took us a while to do it.Fathima S.

I do not recommend anyone pulling a car dolly or trailer use this facility for a drop off location. How this company obtained a UHaul location status is questionable. If a UHaul representative visited or inspected this location, it would soon become clear that the location is not suitable for customers returning a tow dolly or trailer. In fact, it would be almost impossible for customers returning a truck, larger than 15 foot, to this facility because of the immediate sharp right turn and the immediate sharp left turn after pulling off Baltimore street. I almost did not make this â€œzigzagâ€ turn the first time I had to maneuver it. Next, after pulling to the rear of the facility to drop off the tow dolly, the attendant wanted me to disconnect my vehicle from the tow dolly when the truck-tow dolly-vehicle were in the middle of another sharp 90-degree left turn. In the middle of this turn, the three vehicles were no longer lined up in a straight line. If I had disconnected my vehicle and backed it off the tow dolly, my vehicle would have scrapped against the side of the tow dolly. This was a brand-new tow dolly and a brand-new car! Damage to both vehicles would have been the result. So, because I did not want to damage either vehicle, I circled around the facility again in order to have all three vehicles lined up straight before unloading the tow dolly. This also required me to traverse the â€œzigzagâ€ corner again. After I unloaded the car, the attendant asked to pull the truck forward and around the left turn again and disconnect the tow dolly in front of some other tow dollies. I asked him if he was going to put the extenders back in place on the tow dolly and he said â€œNo, it won't hurt it to drag it around the cornerâ€. Note, this is a brand new UHaul tow dolly! After he disconnected the tow dolly, he filled out some paperwork and I left. I unloaded the truck the next day and then I returned it to the same facility. This time, I parked the truck in front of the facility and let the attendant maneuver the â€œzigzagâ€ corner.Francis W.
They do not want to be a carrier for Uhaul or have time for this. They do nothing but complain about it and the system to process while you are there. Getting someone ready to go with this takes time and money from the mechanic shop. They should not have this service.Jeanie S.

We used on line to order the first time. It was a good experience but very time consuming at pick up. This time we called first and then went in person. This was a last minute, unplanned renting. It was snowy and icy. Having to walk across frozen uneven ground to locate the truck then walk all the way back to get the key, only to have to walk back to the trailer again was dangerous and unexpected. It would have been nice to have the out going truck up front and easier to get to. I marked that I would recommend the location but I would also tell the person that it is not convenient during inclement weatherElizabeth G.
The gas gauge was practically in the same place as when I picked up the truck, but this manager decided to get extra picky about not having it as full as he thought it should be. I do not appreciate this at all. There might have been one gallon difference if that, and in a 60 gallon tank, that is not much.Dale F.

I drove this truck less than 8 miles, but was charged for 1.7 gallons of gas???? I doubt this truck only gets 5 miles to the gallon. Ridiculous.Bob L.
