They will get you for a cleaning fee and after hours fee when it's not even a possibility save your money go some where else never again I will go here
Justin DavieI processed the after hours check-in and it was super easy. The location didn't have anything posted where to park the Uhaul but someone was there and did let me know where to park it, so that was nice that someone was there. Maybe a sign where to park would be helpful. Aberdeen is a small town and I don't think Uhaul is the main business at this location as the original drop off location didn't have space for the 26ft truck so a alternate location was used. I was just happy I could drop it off and complete the check-in process on my own time.

Kevin OlesonWe dropped the Uhaul off on April 11, 2023, there was nobody in the business it was closed. We parked the truck and left the keys and contract in the lockbox on the property. We did not recieve a call or email from Uhaul stating that our truck was recieved. We called Uhaul customer service number and they gave us the phone number to the Uhaul location were we dropped off. Nobody would answer the phone so we called Uhaul back on April 18th and they stated that the truck was recieved and that we would recieve an email shortly or a phone call from the drop off location. We never recieved an email or a phone call and they proceeded to charge our bank card for $38.17 with no explaination. When we dropped the truck off we left it with the same amount of gas as when we picked it up so that should not have been the reason for a charge. Our bank shows that it is a charge for a purchase and we did not purchase anything. We would not recommend this location as there should always be someone there to recieve the vehicle and check eveything with the customer. It is not safe to drop off a uhaul and it be left unattended for over a week.

Virginia Henley-MillerThe gas guage is not working on the 20' truck so we had no idea of how much fuel we had and it unexpectantly told us we need gasoline. So previous users did not fill up the tank as we paid for someone else's use. That was a shock and frustrating. Truck was clean and ready to use.

More gas then it had, keep it clean, and just sweep out the back. Pretty straight forward if you ask me. I would definitely be renting for here again.

Put an extra $30 in gas in tank and would have expected a refund not an additional charge for going out of our way considerably to help your company relocate its truck.
Eric ThornburghLock was stuck, unable to open when arrived at 0900. Called UHaul, they called owner who still hadn’t arrived at 1000. Told us that he would be there in 15 min, but never showed. Finally got the lock undone at 1000 then were unable to sign out the truck as the app closed after stating we couldn’t get in. Had to call UHaul again. Got going 2 hours late and owner of site never showed.

In addition-YOU HAD THE BRASS BALLS TO CHARGE ME AN AFTER HOURS FEE OF $20-EVEN THOUGH IT WAS EARLY! THANKS AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL U-HAUL EXPERIENCE!!!!

KEVIN MALONEHave an actual human available to assist with the difficult automatic rental procedure. We were left without proper directions. Very difficult to tell what the proper location to return was. Not visible and no signage present.
Michelle OberholtzerThe actual location of the business was fine but the guy that answered the phone was totally unhelpful. We couldn't get the stupid Uhaul app to check us in and waited at the location until the office was supposed to open. Except they didn't open at the 10:00 time listed on the door. We finally reached the guy on the phone and he just told us to drop the keys in the drop box and hung up. Didn't try to come check the truck in and wasn't helpful about our issues with the app. We ended up sitting there for over an hour trying to either get the app to work, wait for the office to open or reach someone. We went over our drop off time because of this and got charged extra. There is no 800# for Uhaul to try to check in a different way or figure out the issue with the app. This was a terribly frustrating experience that I will not willingly repeat.
LARS LUNDBERGI had no issues other than cell issue for the mobile check in, but that's a cell carrier problem. The gentleman was awesome, GoogleMaps provided the wrong location, and although they are listed as closed, he answered and provided directions and all help needed

Melvin SchwagerMy only complaint is paper trail. I was given no paperwork. No inspection was done prior to my leaving. I wasn't even given the specifics of the prices I was going to be expected to pay. The salesman was super friendly, however, and very personable. I am simply worried that I am going to be hit will various fees that I have no way to fight again.

Ricky CampbellOffice was not open, even though they said they'd be back a 10. They would not respond to phone calls. Requested packing blankets were not in the truck. There was also a hand truck and furniture dolly on my contract that I did not order. U-Haul did refund me on those items. Check Engine light was on and never turned off. I suspect that caused me to burn more fuel. Actual fuel level in the truck was less than what was stated on the contract.
Richard AndersonThe inside reeked of cigarettes and the ash tray was completely full. There were cigarette butts in the back, which I cleaned out. I used the truck for 5 hours (less than 50 miles) and was charged $165! When I called to ask why, I was told my boots had gotten mud on the floorboard and so they charged me extra!

Suzette TamlinSwitched pick up locations at the last minute after we had spent 45 mins trying to get our truck from the original pick up location. No WiFi and terrible reception so we had to drive back and forth to fill out the pick up online. The truck was extremely dirty on the inside when we FINALLY got it.
Shayd WellsCab had some misc garbage behind the seat and the rep at this location said I could pick it up in the pm on a 2 day rental but was charged for 3 days. $339.00 on a two day in town rental was fairly high. I called and he agreed with the over charged fee and said he would send in for reimbursement but apparently never did. Would not reccommend this location. In conclusion the rep said could pick it up in the pm and would not be charged for that day but did the opposite and charged me anyway as he wrote it up.

Dawne HenryMake sure equipment that is reserved is at location and ready for pickup. I haven't had very good luck with this even though I reserved weeks in advance. Also make sure you follow up and call three days prior to pickup date. Again not much luck with this.

mark calhounReservation not honored at deer park location, instead I was told to call 800 go u haul, then told to try u haul in spokane, waited on hold for 11-15 minutes with u.haul, got half way to spokane only to be told closest trailer was in newport, drove to Newport, then learned store was oth in newport but 18 miles south of newport, in middle of nowhere. Wasted half a day, mileage, gas and time. What is point of masking reservation if trailer or equipment isn't going to be there? Why did I not receive phone call from u haul 3 days prior to pickup of trailer? I have reservation in aberdeen for car trailer to return to deer park. Will there be a car trailer in aberdeen for me?

Megan YuchaWe were charged a fee for not filling the gas in the truck to the proper level, which was not true. Also was chaeged a fee for not checking in on-line. We had given a U-haul employee the keys and asked if there was anything else we needed to do,, he replied no. I called about this matter twice and it was never taken care of. So thank you for making another $45 off of me, like the $370 I spent wasn't enough.

Lost my reservation for the car dolly which meant I had to hire a separate driver. Only good part of the whole trip was the drop-off location
