I believe I was charged twice for this rental: once when I pre-registered online and once again when they made me register a second time during pick-up. I told them I had already registered and paid online, but I was made to register and pay again. The rate they charged me in store was double what I paid for the online registration. When I got the trailer home to fill, I found it was littered with garbage that I had to clean out.Gregory L.

When I ordered the U-Haul online I put in my Visa debit card as it asked me to. Then when I went to Camden variety to get the U-Haul they charged me $100, I then noticed that my account had been debited $49.95 also. The passenger side mirror was not working and I did not realize it until I drove off and tried to move it. Other than that, the service was amazing. Perhaps the location did not know the mirror was not working as the last renter may not have said anything.Ellen M.

The customer service rep in this store was very friendly and helpful. He managed to find a more suitable van for my rental purposes. A small improvement would be to have a U-Haul sign outside the store so people like me would not have entered into the wrong door.fred C.

I was told I would be emailed the receipt for the van I rented but it never happened. I even called the business and was told that the owners would return my call, that also never happened. Still waiting on a call or a receipt for the rental. Maybe a little more customer service would help future customers.Wendy C.

I have been charged an extra 240$ for apparently having the uhaul for an extra "4 days". This is not the case. The U-Haul was returned on May 8th which was the same day it was picked up. Hopefully this mix up is fixed and I receive my money back. Both ladies on the phone were helpful but still waiting on a phone call to fix the mess up.Andre P.

I rented a trailer that was advertised as a 6' by 12' but the ramp to load material was barely 5' wide so I was unable to utilize the trailer. Unsatisfactory.kris C.

The first drop off location Fox Fuels was not set up as a U Haul facility, we had to drive to Napanee to drop off the truck which cost us an extra $35.00 in additional kms and fuel. We should be refunded the additional cost. Camden Variety was absolutely great helping us return the truck. Request a response from U Haul!Mike S.

I want to particularly commend the manager of the Napanee U-Haul outlet for his consideration and thoughtfulness. I will be needing to rent a truck again this coming May (we will be selling our cottage in the Kawarthas, and have twenty years' worth of stuff to move out of it). Original booking was made at Uhaul location (All About Signs -U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer -444 Milligan Ln Napanee, ON K7R3Z3). Owner indicated that they would have trailer for me at requested date and time. Showed up at date and time and gave me some story that one wasn't delivered but I could drive to Kingston (50kms away) to get one. They did offer me a truck as a replacement but more $ and $/km charge additional. No apologies or anything. Ended up going down the street to Camden Variety and they had what I was looking for and immediately helped me out. Camden Variety = A+! All About Signs = F!Tim F.

Hello, The location personnel, Kayla I believe, was outstanding. The equipment I reserved was not complete however. I reserved and did all online check in only to arrive for my trailer and fridge cart and there was no cart at the site. This fridge cart was mandatory for my move that day and forced me to make a second stop at another site to get a cart. The area rep facilitated this, but it should not have happened. When equipment is just taken by another site, the customer suffers. Through my arranged pick up times for my equipment off at my destination and had to make alternate arrangements for a heavy off load. JoeJoseph C.

Don't pretend that your computer isn't working when I return a vehicle. It always works when I am starting a rental. Go out to the truck with the customer and right down the mileage, leaving and returning, and give a receipt when requested. I don't appreciate having to ask three times to get a receipt.Leslie S.

Uhaul customers are treated as third rate customers. You will be forced to wait until every other store customer is served first. What happens when a new customer enters the store? They continue to serve them first. If you're considering this location, be prepared to wait.Andrew S.

Very prompt check in on return of the rental unit. Parking spots are great and the store is very well stocked. The store owner was very helpful and professional.George W.
I am not happy with the service that I received. 1. Questions or need help? Call me. 613 354 6166 I called 12 times, starting at 7:38 a.m. to say that I would be late returning the van. No one ever answered the phone. 2. I was asked to estimate the # of kilometres that I would use. I guessed 200 The estimated cost of km plus $19.95 rental was $89.00 An extra $15.00 insurance was added to this for a total of $104.00 plus taxes and and environmental fee. Total $118.63. 3. I was 12 km over my estimation of km and I was 5 1/2 hours late returning the van. I expected to be charged an additional day at $19.95, an additional $15.00 for insurance, environmental fees, taxes and for the extra 12 km. 4. The estimate of $89.00 was for the 200 km. plus the rental of the van. If I went over the estimate, I would be charged an additional $.81 per km. 5. To simply double than $89.00 and then add on all the other costs, I find extremely annoying. A deal at $198.63? I think not. 6. And don't write on the contract that the customer will not be charged until the equipment is returned and the rental charges are calculated. It is illegal to make false claims. I was charged on the 18th when I rented the van and on the 19th when I returned it. I am not a happy customer.hilary G.
