Gregory BNext time I reserve at specific Uhaul location make sure the trailer is there. I had to drive to pick up to Cajun Hardware Inc which set me back 1 hour to pick up. Cajun Hardware to good care of me and they are only a dealer the actual U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lafayette Store was the issue.

sandra bI dropped a trailer off after business hours but the lot was well lit and easy to move around and park the trailer. The receipt was in my email immediately the following morning. I would recommend this location highly.

Broc PTruck was filthy. Windshield was dirty. I stopped at a gas station to clean the windshield. Inside of the truck had garbage on the floor, including a bag that was the leftovers of someone’s meal.

Shirley SMistakenly assumed that equipment dolly came with rental of vehicle but when asked if there was one none were available. I think that when you rent they should go over everything that is available and not assume that we know this because this was the first time renting for us. Otherwise they were nice and friendly
cheryl tLoved the service at my local Uhaul pickup. Only gripe would be because there was a period of a week where we didn't know where the truck would be located and we were on a strict schedule for time. Also, the app kept insisting that we had to go pick it up in a town pretty far and out of our way even after I reserved the truck at the location closest to me.
Grant DClose the location in ABBEVILLE,la. The guy Mr.Craig is very rude close the store before closing time . I had to run across town to another location. I was scheduled to pick up at 11 he close before 11:30 which was closing time. He hung up the phone twice I beg him to rent me the uhaul as was scheduled. He don’t have great customer service skills at all. He need to be fired immediately. Mean old man , what he done was unacceptable to a me. I drove 35 mins to get to him then another 20 mins to the Kaplan location. His word was he had a wedding to go to he closing early. Thank you

Devan DPlease explain drop off policy. I left it at the storage facility that handles u haul after hours and called them when they opened and was told that I should have left the contract in a drop box.

marie pI've never been so disappointed with an equipment rental in my life. I made an appointment for a trailer. It wasn't there at the time. I made a reservation because it was a time sensitive engagement. After waiting an extra ten minutes I was told I had to travel a half an hour away. I was also told I'd receive a $50 voucher. I travelled and it took a other 30+ min for the employee to get me the rental, I paid cash and never received the voucher. Then when I go to return it they aren't open 40 MINUTES after their posted store hours and I have to go in through the employee entrance to be told I'm not getting any money back. I will never use uhaul again and warn anyone else that relying on them is a mistake.

Warren WNothing! Mrs. Donna handled everything perfect for us. I would highly recommend renting from Cajun Hardware. The service she extended to us was 10 out of 10. Excellent customer service. Will never rent a u-haul again without calling Cajun Hardware first.

GARRY MFor the next customer, you can actually call them and tell them that their reservation has changed and that the only trailer is 45 miles away! I was less than pleased when I arrived in Lafayette (25 mile drive) to pick up my RESERVED trailer to only find there was no trailer. I finally hooked up to a trailer after 1200N, which was the exact time I was supposed to be arriving at my location to meet others. This little blip in the system cost three people time and money!

Edward FThe U-Haul truck was dirty due to ashes all over the dashboard and seats and cigarette butts in the ash tray. My husband and I are not smokers and found this displeasing. The vehicle smelled like smoke and had to be aired out by us. I suggest cleaning the U-Hauls before giving them to new renting customers. The personnel at this location were extremely nice and very helpful, which made the dirty U-Haul tolerable.
