dennis batalisPut some kind of crank lift on the 6 x 12 trailers. I had to drop it off after the facility closed and had to lift it off of my hitch by myself and it was almost impossible.
Steven BartleyThey did not have the 4 dolly's they only had 2 of them but they threw in another dolly to make up for it. They are really nice people and it was a pleasure to interact with them.

Cara MartinA light in the dashboard came on as we were driving it down the road to unload. We looked it up and it needed more coolant. I was afraid it would overheat. As you see we only drive a handful of miles. I returned early because I didn’t want any more issues and I was scared to drive it further.

SHARON ADERIONOLAMy name is Inisha Ingram, contract 19812142. I reserved my uhaul van through Corporate Sales as I have a corporate account. I usually take the the mobile option to check out my uhaul but on this day, I went in. When I arrived to Cadwells, there was an older lady having some issues accessing my rental. She seeked help from a guy in the facility and he told her to call someone if she kept having issues (don’t remember the guys name). I mentioned to her that I reserved it through corporate sales, hoping that helped. She got on the phone and was talking to a man about my reservation and then got off. She looked at me and said “I can’t rent the van to you.” I asked why and she just said “so and so said I cant rent that van to you.” I said ma’am I had this reserved in advanced and attempted to show her on my phone that it was active. She got frustrated very fast and hostile very quickly. Slamming stuff and getting very loud but not justifying the reasoning. I literally was going back and forth with this lady and had to tell her to calm down and that she was being very disrespectful. A guy came out and I asked him to tell her to calm down. I asked her to call whoever she was speaking with back. She refused! She sd I’ll text him. Mind you, she just called him. She then says, I can give you the box truck but not the van as a corporate sale reservation. The guy text back and told her, “I’m NOT CALLING HER BACK AND SHE CANNOT RENT THE VAN.” She is yelling and getting upset with me. I told her to cancel reservation and I will rent it as a personal reservation as I was doing a private event for the COLTS NFL Team. I needed that rental and she made it so hard. She had the nerve to threaten to not let me rent it but the guy in the back sorta intervened. I WILL NEVER EVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE. As a young black woman, I really did not think the treatment was fair and the whole situation felt like I was being discriminated at its finest. I also had got dropped by an Uber and had no way back to my destination, hence the reason for needing this uhaul. This business should be banned for partnering with UHAUL. No professionalism, horrible customer service and unruly!
Inisha IngramNo one told me that I would get a text message to sign in to pick up the truck or that I would need to download an app to check the truck back in. That I was not happy with.
RONALD HARDINDoing the self check in was terrible. The agent continually said the line was busy when trying to call my contacts to verify my identity yet both had called me saying they had confirmed with the agent. The whole mess made my pick up at 6am turn into 7:45am because the toll free agents hung up on me 3 different times and ultimately my movers cancelled on me because of the delay so I have to rent and move again this weekend. Horrible

Mark BolingI was originally scheduled to pick up at a different location, but the guy was sick and no one notified me, so I waited at his place for 1/2 hour. Had to call U-Haul to find out. Others were waiting also, so it wasn’t just me. There should be a system to notify customers. You guys have been around a long time and should function better.

daniel spenceadopt a full fuel gauge policy. Not having full fuel gauge policy screws the customer (who likely overfills in this situation). also, the furniture dolly extra request was not provided so that was disappointing.
Michael BoylesThis location did not have furniture dollies, and did not inform me until I had arrived for pick up. At the counter, they adjusted them off, but without prior knowledge we had to procure them elsewhere.

JAMES RHINEHARTCadwell's opened 15 min early on Memorial Day Weekend just to get us started. I appreciated that 110%. Truck had a dolly in it, which we didn't expect...a definite bonus. Excellent, friendly service. UHaul needs to drop Moving Care llc from the list of acceptable businesses. This company provides helpers to load/unload your truck. Ours never showed for either the loading at one place or unloading at destination. They would not answer phones after texting they were "on the way" but never showed. We will be filiing a BBB complaint.
Shirley K StartzmanMy original order was a 24/7 pickup scheduled for a 7:00 am pickup in Plainfield. But the owner didn't do something right, so I had to drive all the way to Danville/Avon to get a different one. Then late that night I had to drive all the way back to that further away one. The one I took the time to schedule ahead of time was right by my house. very inconvenient and it made my whole day run behind schedule
