You didn't tell me if you use a credit or debit card that it will take 5 to 7 days for your deposit back.The man at the store told me I could get it back the same day I turned the truck back in.He didn't tell me about the deposit until after I used my master card.Now I have to wait until a week after I moved from Wilmington NC to Fayetteville NC.I will contact the corporate office to file a complaint.I will also tell everyone I can about the dis service.Not telling me before is the same as lying to me.Very disappointed in this company would be an understatement!PAY ATTENTION IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE BUDGET STORAGE TO RENT UHAULS.BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE TOLD! THEY WILL LIE TO YOU.VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS.

For an after hours drop off the phone message I sent was never returned. The message from the facility said they would return the call within one business day. After a month the message has not been returned. I was never notified that my trailer was returned.

My departure was delayed by a day. I called the Monkey Junction store, in advance, to inform them. They were happy to accommodate me. I show up Friday 7/12 to pick up the trailer and was informed that someone in the UHAUL traffic department cancelled my reservation without even calling me to confirm my change in plans. It took me an additional 2 hours to locate and pick up at a different location. The gentleman in traffic was also planning to charge me an additional $40/day bc the new pickup location was only a one way rental business. I had to protest an additional 15 minutes before he rescinded the extra fees. This caused me multiple set backs forcing me to drive throughout the night to maintain my strict schedule. This was inappropriate and highly unprofessional. I was greatly inconvenienced. I don’t appreciate the extreme waste of my time and putting additional stress on me and my family having to drive extended periods during the early morning hours. Especially when it’s not part of my planning. This was a huge mistake on UHAUL’s part and I should be compensated in some way. Respectfully, Philip Yorio

Some equipment that was rented was not available. The associate was very distracted by the couple other people waiting and his computer was not appropriately maintained for a business. He brought me the wrong truck and dismissed it due to him not having time to find the right keys and then entered in the mileage wrong by 30,000 miles. He left the keys in the truck and told me I was all set without having me do a spot check or anything. I felt very rushed to get out of there due to the couple people waiting after me. We then had to go to another location for the dolly we rented which was unavailable at the first. This was a one way 600 mile move that had me very nervous and this associate was no help.

Steve was wonderful! I was helping my best friend move full time to Kure Beach after 40 years in Raleigh and I am 71 and she’s 74! Steve was professional and worked with us each time we went into his office...we rented trailers twice, 10’ truck, and lastly a 15’ truck....he was always so helpful and took his time explaining all our options...would definitely recommend him and he has these two customers for life!
