My bill was 20 dollars more than what I was given after returning the truck. If that is tax it should be included on the amount that you are told you owed.Adam C.
I had rented many 10 ft trucks from u-haul which had the ramp and now , I have been told it is available only in 15 ft truck. I bought a motorcycle and ended buying a ramp costed me 140$ as 15 ft truck was not available :-(Varun S.

I was first informed that I owed over $80.00 for a $19.95 Cargo Van! It should have been 19.95 + 10.00 +mileage. Meghan said she would look in to it. Meanwhile, I was charge $51 that I didn't authorize or was aware of. True, it is pending on my Wells Fargo card, but, I see two charges and I never authorized it! When I dropped off the cargo van about 6 hours later, Meghan said that the reservation showed it was for 25 hrs.? How is that possible when on the uhaul website it goes up to 24 hrs and then it shows 2 days. She said that she would fix it. Then why I was told my final bill, it charged me around 14% for rental tax that never showed up on my reservation. I can't wait to tell my friend and facebook my experiences!Ron S.

The receptionist at the desk was very helpful, courteous and professional, and overall the process was very smooth. The only thing I thought was weird was that I could only rent the cargo van for 48 hours at a time and then I had to take a picture of the odometer & call in to renew it for another 48 hours. It's just an odd limitation as opposed to being able to rent it for a specific number of days.margaret S.
The truck smelled a little and the manual locks and windows were a bummer but the AC worked great and it drove fairly smooth. The ladies in the front office were very helpful and nice.Danae G.

I was over charged for my rental it took over a week to correct the issue. Although the vehicle was basically clean i did find soda bottles in the rental. To my knowledge the vehicle was supposed to be be inspected before I left that did not take place. Was charged 35 miles only drove ten. Then was asked repeatedly to cover lost 26 miles.Christy H.

They were out of dollies, forgot my furniture pads. Made for a stressful moving day. The truck was fine except the windshield wipers were bad. He said it had 7/8 tank of gas but it only had 3/4 so I was charged upon return and couldn't get a refund for the dolly I paid for.JESSICA B.

We picked up a 10' box truck to remove debris from the back yard and then we went an picked up a Xmas Tree display for the Relay for Life display. We have Life 360 on our phones and we traveled approx. 45 miles. We were charged for 150 miles because evidently the millage was written incorrectly. A supervisor said he understood, but we had to pay the $110. extra even though we showed him the proof of our mileage and he agreed it was a mistake. Never, Never, Never go to this site.RICHARD H.

To whom it may concern: I had a 15 foot truck reserved for Friday, July 30, 2021. Contract #98885789. I received an email confirming my reservation saying that the van that I reserved was GUARANTEED for Friday July 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the location at 210 S. Hwy 69, Dewey, AZ. That location was approximately one and half miles from my home. Which was perfect for pickup. I went there to pick up the van and was told that they didn't have a 15 footer and would check with Uhaul to see if there was one available in the area. There wasn't but they did have a 26 footer that I could have. I told them that is not what I needed or reserved. They did say there was a 10 footer available. Now I am in a spot. I don't need a 26 footer and if I took the 10 footer I would have to put on extra miles to accomplish the move. At that point I needed a van and took the 10 footer. By doing so I had to put on 12 mile or so to pick up and return the van. Not to mention having to make two trips of 30 mile round trip rather than one. Then to top it all off I had to pay for all the miles. The next part of this complaint is the very misleading advertising you people do. Right on the side of the 10 footer it show $19.95 a day rental rate. But I get the contract and It not only show the Rental Rate of $19.95, it shows a Rental charge, what ever that is, of $39.95. In other words, I rented a van for $19.95 and get a bill for $88.00 plus $60.00 for millage. This is outrageous. Three very simple points. I didn't get the van that I ordered and was guaranteed. I was charged for millage that was added on to go to a farther location. Last but not least was the deceiving rental charges. I know that you people don't care about me as an individual as there are thousands that come along that you will be billing in the same manner. But, I will GUARANTEE you this, I will never ever rent a Uhaul piece of equipment again. BTW, this is not the first time that I have reserved a van and didn't get what I wanted. I gave my card to the lady and she said it would not be run until truck was returned. My son was paying for it as it was for his use. We had it 1 day. We were told we could change payent type. My son gave the man his card and had to run it twice because of your system was having problems. He ran my card ($158) that day and then reversed it. That caused a negative in my account which I was charged $35 for. Now today my card was run for (104) which caused another negative to my account and another $35 overdraft fee. We will never use uhaul again nor will I recommend you to anyone. I've had to cover the $70 overdraft and the rental cost that should have be run on my sons' card.WANDA S.

Personally walked in and scheduled a truck pickup, arrived and no order in their system, and no truck. Also $19.95 a day is only to rent the truck, BE AWARE there are Environmental FEEs (high) and taxes plus gas, which with only using the truck x 2 hours ended with a total of $56!RONALD S.
I tried to reserve a cargo van for pick up at the Fulton Rd facility. When I tried to enter the reservation code online to verify my details it did not go through. A second code was sent and it appeared to work. When I got to the facility the next day, before office hours, I tried to bring up my reservation but there was nothing there. After sitting on hold for over 15 minutes I spoke to a customer service rep. They told me that my reservation was cancelled and that there was no van available at that address. The CS rep renewed my booking and searched for the nearest place with a van. This was the 2nd St facility. There were 2 vans available and the person at the U haul office let me take the newer Ford van which I wanted. The van ran well, but the interior could have been cleaner. If they could vacuum or sweep out the cab that would be good as there was dust and crumbs on the floor and in the cup holders. There was a dull film over the dashboard which I am guessing is some type of sanitizer. The van was much easier to load than a pick up truck or moving van as the floor is low to the ground, which is what I needed. Hopefully I will not have a problem with the online ordering.David W.

I got scheduled for 10pm instead of 10am. I didn't get a truck, just a van. I had to go to 3 different locations to get anything. Two of the 3 people I spoke with we're very rude, and unprofessional. I scheduled a last minute truck online, the night before I needed it. I was planning on running over and picking up the truck during a break at work, but got extremely busy. I called and talked to Shawn (sp.) And he was extremely awesome. He handled everything for me over the phone, give the instructions I needed, and made my experience absolutely superior! The drop-off location basically sucked. tried to return the trailer around noon Jan 22th and no one was available and no area to place it due to the fenced lot. once someone finally showed up to open, then they didn't even have the equipment or offered any help to unhook it. from the receiver. plus trailer also didn't have the trailer jack.Scott Z.

WOW! Mike at Budget Mini Storage: 9101 E Valley Rd Prescott Valley, AZ 86314, was phenomenal. He went SO far above and beyond what is to be anticipated. I moved my items on a Sunday and as to be expected, ran into trouble making it before closing. He offered me his cell number and said he would wait as I was on my way. LOVE THESE FOLKS!!Leigha S.
