The employees are very nice and personable BUT their handling of equipment was not acceptable. I was first offered a truck with the check engine light on, which I was told was probably due to no windshield fluid in the reservoir. I refused that truck because they could not guarantee that the truck would make the trip. The windshield was so dirty, it could've been a safety issue. The next truck worked but the windshield and the driver side window was just as dirty. I was overcharged for the one day rental and I am still fighting those charges. I still recommend U-Haul but not this location. I Normally use the Bell Rd location in surprise but decided to use this location. Big mistake.Angela R.

Was told tank was full. It was not. I traveled a total of 16 miles round trip yet had to put over 3 gallons of gas to fill up. It should have been one gallon.Pabel O.

This location is very nice and the people are great! I do recommend this place , easy drop off and just down the street but the U haul experience from or starting place was not.Karoline W.
Vehicle was fairly new...but....completely filthy...was not cleaned prior to being rented. At least have the decency to clean the windshield and rear windows. There was no washer fluid left either!!!! Inside front seating area dirty too. Maintain your vehicles!Christina T.
The lady working at this location was amazing. Uhaul really SCREWED UP my original reservation at the UHAUL MOVING AND STORAGE LOCATION ON CAMELBACK RD IN PHOENIX. After that location decided to charge me for my 20' truck and auto transport to then tell me that they didn't have it available, after I confirmed the reservation 2 separate times, then they decided to send me on my way to the only location within a 3 hour radius to pick up the only available truck (which was only a 15') I'm still waiting for my refund on the first transaction that I have literally had to fight to get. After going through all the crap that Uhaul put my through that day, the lady working at the budget mini storage was so helpful, and very sincere. She understood what I had just gone though and was more then willing to do everything in her power to get me into a truck and on our way.Michelle N.

I placed a reservation on Tuesday 3/8 for a moving truck. I decided to use your U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 because I needed the truck by 8am.I arrived to the location the next morning and I tried to pick up the truck with the U-Haul Truck share 24/7, it gave me a message: "Thank you for using U-Haul. Your rental is scheduled for hand delivery, in order to start your Truck Share 24/7 reservation please wait until the location has opened at 3/9/2022 9:00 AM. What was the whole purpose to reserve ahead of time and use your Truck share 24/7 service and the truck is not ready? The staff at the location did not know about my reservation and even asked me if I was at the right location. I had 3 people waiting for me in Mesa and I was an hour and half late. Safe move discrepancy original receipt checkout was 14 yet I was charged 14 initially and then another 42 when truck was returned. Mileage- during checkout screenshot was .89 a mile all the way through the final check out process yet charged 1.09. Customer service stated that this is what my contract stated but my contract was sent after I checked out which was different that what I saw during checkout. This is theft and I will be contacting corporate for an explanation as to how this is ok.Yisel S.
The facilities were fine.. Uhaul changing our drop off location without a call or a message that clearly stated there was a change to our agreement, was terrible. If a change will be made to a rental agreement there should be a verbal or text confirmation. As a bare minimum, the drop off location text should state there was a change to the agreed location.Mallorie D.

After loading the truck I started my journey getting on the interstate but found a latent deficiency. The driver door didn't seal properly and at interstate speed wind sucking though the gap whistled loudly. I tried stuffing paper towels in the gap to no avail. I might have permanent ear damage from the high pitched wind whistling over a 12.5 hours ride. I should have stopped for repairs but was under a time limit to meet helpers to unload the truck. I reported it to representatives at destination -- they said they would have it fixed. To be fair the rest of the truck worked perfectly.EDWARD D.
The representative charged me for 2 days of rental when I only used it for 4 hours. The representative could not fix the mistake done at their location. The representative did not seem to want to rent me the storage size I wanted and needed. When I inquired about the size I wanted she didn't even look at the available list. She just said this was the smallest she had. She wouldn't and didn't apply my veterans discount. I rented a truck and rented a storage unit, I feel I should have been treated better and not over charged. This is still unresolved.Tonya D.

I consider the price I paid too much for the truck and the gas charge was very overcharged at $15.00 for 42.1 miles at $ 3.10 a gallon that comes to $9.45! I recently rented a u-haul truck on 9/25 to go to Chandler from the location on Dysart and Van Buren. Aproximately 50 miles away but could only get the truck for one day. On 9/26, I cld to see if I could get the truck again on Sunday and was told they only had a pick up truck. I then went up to Citrus and was told they didn't have a van but the store on North Estrella had one. I went there and they had a van. I needed the van to go back to Chandler and return it on Sunday night. They printed out the contract and I signed it; not realizing that it was for two days. I returned the truck on Sunday night around 7:30pm. Nobody asked me how long I needed it for. The truck had dirty windows from previous rain and dog hair of some kind all over the seat and inside on the seats! I don't see how this is fair to charge me for an extra day! I have rented from you guys on several occasions and have never had this type of experienced! I think it unfair and unprofessiona.!!!Kathryn R.
Will not use or recommend uhaul again. Having the vehicle for 2 hours it cost me close to 100.00 not even close to 19.95 that is advertised. Your company is deceptive. I was in a pinch and got screwed. I put gas in the truck and got charged mileage at the same time. 34.00 in unexplained charges that should have been asked of me if needed (coverage) and when I was not made aware of a 20.00 convenience fee but told I could actually keep the vehicle and return prior to 9:00 am when she got there. I requested to rent the equipment for 24 hrs. I was told at the rental facility I could only have it for 17.5 hrs because another customer needed it the next day. I was unaware this other customers needs superceded my own. I will refuse to rent Uhaul equipment from this storage facility again, if I chose to rent from them at all.Kristopher K.
