Well, don’t send somebody across the country, the entire country with bald tires and sidewall. It’s about to blow on one of them and you did and guess what happened the winds were blowing gusting, bam, flat tire. It was the most horrible experience of my life, I will never use U-Haul again and talking on the phone with you guys it’s like you don’t even care about safety for your customers like the reason no safety standard and this isn’t over I’m gonna pursue this and I’m thinking about taking legal action, I have pictures of all the tires I have witnesses. I have a tow truck driver that are you doing says I don’t know if I would do that after he changed the blowout tire that almost killed me so it was the most horrible experience possible honestly when you have someone come out as a roadside assistance, person change the tire the Dom almost killed you and then looks at the rest of your tires and says I don’t know that doesn’t look safe to sketch. This thing needs tires all the way around the sidewall on the other side that didn’t blow out is about to because it’s cracked. We have no idea the anxiety. You guys caused me in panic attack and I also have documented PTSD, so this isn’t over

This location is wonderful and Christian and his team are so kind , helpful and professional . They helped me so much with my move and I recommend them highly!!!!! Will definitely work with them again and appreciate they went above and beyond to help me with my move !

The truck was about ready when I arrived and check out was simple. I did need to ask for help turning the truck around as it was parked in a very tight space without much room for turning it around.

The man who took the return was very helpful. I didn't have the paperwork with me upon the return. He said no problem, he looked it up in the computer and unhitched the trailer for me.

The price should be 159.00 not 177.00, got a 18.00 discount to drop it off at Lawrence Automotive. I should have 50 extra miles and not 50 extra days. The furniture dolly was not the one I ordered.

There is no customer parking and so I had to park my vehicle somewhere else. As far as I could tell, there was no advance warning of this when I reserved this vehicle at this location. I only found out when I arrived and I was told that most people have someone drop them off. Had I know this in advance I would have chosen a different location. as I did not have anyone else available to drop me off.

This location was convenient. The rental clerk helped me avoid backing the large truck into obstacles. He was polite and pleasant. I would recommend this location in the future.

The process was efficient. The guys who moved my furniture did a great job and were very careful. This is a repeat rental for me from this location and they always have what I need and are extremely helpful with coordinating the truck, the help, etc. Would definitely recommend for all your moving needs.

Everything went well.. The supervisor, Kristian, was professional and the two movers were careful and quick. The entire move cost us only $400 for the 26 foot truck rental and four hours for the two movers.

Employee stole my $119 charger battery on top of my stuff when I left for 10 minutes to get my car keys. He said someone else came to pick up a truck but nothing was missing from the lot.

I pulled into a rather small difficult parking lot to unload the heavy 12 foot covered trailer. No one came out to help me knocked on the office door. It was locked. No closed sign visible. Apparently no one was around. This was approximately 10 AM in the morning after struggling and trying to maneuver the trailer into a spot, on the gravel parking lot a man arrived in a car and the first thing he said to me while I was backing, the trailer was that I was blocking his access to the parking lot and that I had to move. Keep in mind the trailer was still connected to my truck and that my vehicle and his vehicle were clearly on the parking lot, not blocking the parking lot access from the street. I explained I’m just dropping off the trailer. He acted like he didn’t care, and he knew nothing about it and to move the truck and trailer because he had things he had to do. Unbelievable once I realized it was his business after I had to ask him. He became rude after I asked him to disconnect the trailer. I said I’ll be glad to move and be on my way .He disconnected the trailer and began to walk away. So, I had to ask him to check me in handing him the paperwork. He refused the paperwork by turning around and walking away saying he’ll do it later. Just a minute or two later, he drove out of the parking lot . I Had to call the call center to inform them that I dropped off the trailer at the designated location that was sent to me via text message location being on Monticello Road, Weaverville North Carolina .

Very hard to negotiate parking and exiting, the location I was supposed to drop it off at, Marshall General Store on highway 25-70 Marshall NC would not take it they said that Y-Haul would not let them take any more trailers!

I was treated very well and courteous by the manager well mannered guy. I would recommend this location for all of your u haul needs. Easy access and you have excellent help when leaving in a 26 foot truck. Thank you very much for the opportunity to deal with this location.

The location staff was friendly and very helpful with getting the trailer I rented hooked up to my truck when I picked it up, and unhooking it when I returned to drop it off at the end of the day.

Surly agent seemed bothered by our business on a Saturday. What was advertised rate was not accurate - was overcharged - will never use this service again and tell everyone I know not to use uhaul because of it.

My experience with uhaul the company was awful. Uhaul changed my reservation without letting me know causing me multiple losses on moving day. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The representative was not at the office when I arrived for pickup. I was able to locate him only after I contacted several support representatives that were able to contact him. I saw another couple struggling to find him as well a couple of days afterwards during drop off. The location also did not have a furniture dolly (included as part of my reservation). I tried contacting support to get one but I kept getting passed to other reps. Needless to say, my experience was very poor and I am planning to use Penske (or another provider) on my next move or rental.

Owner was away on lunch break, but answered his phone when I called. He was helpful in giving me a few instructions as to how I could leave the truck, keys, and information. He was helpful and made my drop off trouble- free.

The problem was not with this location, the problem was with almost no UHaul locations near my desired drop off location accepting trailers. When I rented the trailer this location was shown as accepting trailers and I chose it. 30 minutes after my rental I received a text from Uhaul moving my drop off location way across town. I had business north of this location I had to be at so this did not work. It took almost an hour to get this worked out. I am renting two more times in the next month and fear I will be given the same bait and switch on drop off locations

The facility was easy to get to, but it did not stock hitches or lighting adapters, necessitating a long additional drive. They also did not reply to our repeated requests to schedule the mandated pre-rental inspection, necessitating yet another long drive.

Rating above is for Browntown. However, equipment ordered (15ft, appliance dolly) wasn’t at correct location due to glitch within UHaul sending it to a nearby location. I was given the 20 foot at the same price but move was made significantly harder due to no equipment dolly.

I used the 24/7 service. My original pickup location was changed to a location over 12 miles away without even telling me so on top of making us late for our move we had to put more mileage on the truck. The check in process was not good either the rep at the office was rude. When we couldn’t get the cargo area of the truck unlocked , he finally came out to assist but he took the lock with him so we had no way of locking it back when we returned it and no one was available to give the keys to so we had to just leave them inside. Tried calling the office and no one answered.

Has a Office building set up but never there unless you have a scheduled rental. I tried stopping in day before to ask questions and was closed. When picked up trailer, he had to clean out the inside (moving blankets/ sweep. After hooked up - left front clearance light was inoperable & his response was “it’ll be alright”. When I asked if this 5’x8’ enclosed trailer would hold a Queen size mattress his reply was “I don’t know”

The uhaul was so nasty! Inside and outside! There was dog hair and dog slobber all of the windows and dirt in the floor doesn’t look like it had been cleaned in months.

Khristian was not helpful or pleasant..he kept telling me that he was doing me a favor renting to me. Vehicle had the check engine light on and was flashing..cab of vehicle was covered in dirt. I will not rent from this location again,

Truck was ready as promised, used the phone for pick up for first time, no issues. The truck was dirty, mud in cab and on truck. Engine light was on. When I returned the truck later Sunday there was an employee there, very nice and helpful to get me on my way.

The office did not look like a U-Haul reception center. The hours are odd, and even when they’re supposed to be open they were not. The difference between the quality of the pick up location and the drop off location was like night and day.

They are only open from 7am -10am. I needed help when I returned the truck and no one was there to help me at 1pm

No one was on site to take our keys, etc. Just as we were about to drop the keys into a lockbox, we saw the note to go to a website to check our truck in. We struggled for at least 30 minutes to input information into a certain part of the site, and couldn't get past that spot. Finally, after being at the lot for 45 minutes, a guy drove up to check us in! He said they have problems with the website! Geez----ya' think??!!

The initial drop off site on my contract was out of business. Attempts to call uhaul resulted in an unrealistic hold time of over an hour. I was able to locate this location on Monticello Rd and took the trailer there. Christian, the attendant at this location was very helpful in assisting me in accepting and placing the trailer.
