Jasmiana NelomsCustomer service was ok the guy helping me could only talk about how he is the biggest and the best in the area and no one have trailers but him. I rent a 5'x8' trailer all the time and never had to go to him intill now do to the one I uselly go to didn't have a 5'x8' trailer at this time. But when getting the trailer he told me have a great day and enjoy so I thought we was done but I guess we wasn't. I was driving down the road like 2mile down towards my house he got kind of rude and stated I didn't tell you to leave we wasn't finished with the transaction so I had to return for him time to take photos of the hook up which I never had had to do before from any uhaul rental company. Like I stated above I rent a 5'x8' like once a month for many different reasons and never had anyone take photo of the trailer hook up maybe it's a new policy with uhaul but he could have been better communicator. But the equipment was good and was one of the newer trailers with a gate on the back that was nice for rolling equipment in it.

patty gradwellI paid for the truck and 2 dozen pads at a store named Boo Boo because they were the only that had a 20' truck nearby. There were no pads, the truck had junk in it that the rental guy removed and there were food containers in the cab. The loaders came to my house to load the truck and only 1 of them was a professional mover. The other 2 gentlemen were just man power. We told them to put the tools in the truck first (large toolbox, large workbench, Lathe, Table saw, Band saw, 2 bench grinders). The large MAC tool box has 3 sections and is 6 feet tall x 30" x 16".. They did not unstack the 3 sections and the tool box fell over at the first turn breaking open the drawers and spilling several mechanic's hand tools all over the truck. The tools were supposed to be put on first because they were going to a second location. The movers put the tools on last so they had to be unloaded to get the the boxes that were coming off first. My 51 year old daughter and my 13 year old grandson were doing all of the unloading because I an 81 and have severe arthritis in my legs. There were 25 file boxes of household goods, clothes, and model train parts. That is what was supposed to come off first. All the boxes had to be passed over the tools and carried down the ramp. The 30" x 60" desk that that was loaded had the rear leg broken off. IKt is now sitting on a board to keep it level. The legs to the 55" flat Screen TV are lost in some small box That I have not located. Also, all of the packing that was done because of NO PADS was done with MY cardboard and MY tape. It took 2 days to unload the truck and a third and fourth day because everyone was so exhausted. The tools were unloaded the last day at a second location where a man did the work. In the 70's I rented several UHaul trucks the engineering models to different locations in the Northeast. I never had a problem. I will never rent a UHaul product of any kind again and I will not recommend UHaul to anyone. UHaul has done what many large corporations do. They spread out as fast as they can to make more profits and drop their standards to make more locations available. Your Boo Boo store is a joke. You should send someone to visit that store. MICHELE BIZZOZZAROI requested a truck with cruise control and forgot to check it before we left. I have severe arthritis. I was given a truck without cruise control and took it back immediately and still was billed almost $70. I am a retired Navy veteran on a fixed income. I also put $100 with the gas in the truck and was never reimbursed. I will never rent from U-Haul again. You did not take care of me at all.

Michael MohamedWhen I walked up...there was no one in the store. I walked around the store looking for someone...and no one was around to be found. I ended up going outside to a couple that was setting up a tent to sell Tee-Shirts. I asked if they knew anyone at the store...and they said it was them. I told them that I had a truck to return...and the gentleman asked...what kind of truck. I said a U-Haul truck. I took him to the truck...he said to park it in the field...which had very little space...as it had so many U-Haul trucks / trailers. I then went back to complete the return. The gentleman said that he just needed the key. I told him that I wanted something that said I returned the truck. He indicated that he didn't have his phone to complete the return...and that he would send an email once the truck was reviewed...and return complete. I did not feel comfortable with that...as I didn't know this man...and he had no obvious logo or anything indicating that he represented U-Haul. The gentleman said that everybody knew him. I told him...that I did not...and so I took a picture of him holding the U-Haul truck keys for proof that I returned the truck. He was almost confrontational towards me returning the truck and acted like I was disturbing him from doing whatever his other job was. Needless to say...If I rent from U-Haul again...I will not be returning to this location.

martin reinsmithPerson at the counter was drinking a beer and went out for a smoke break. Blake the 45 plus minute return time on “the weather“. It was barely raining. When I handed over the keys, simply told me I was “good to go” and would “get a receipt sometime..probably by the end of the day”. It was 1pm. I stated that I want leaving without some sort of acknowledgment. After heavy signs, a few more sips of beer and reluctance to leave the tv, she got up to check the van. NEARLY AN HOUR LATER the app finally showed the rental as being closed. Would NOT recommend that location to anyone.
LAURA BURGESSWhile attending my reservation the lady was arguing with a guy who was telling her to do the reservation differently and practically making it difficult for her to complete the reservation. The store is ok but the back of it where the vehicle was parked was dirty.

I had to ask about the appliance dolly which I also reserved, and they said they did not have one, but wouldn't charge me for it (I surely hope not!). Then they asked what I wanted to do. I told them I guess I did not have a choice.

Kevin GouldI've used this location to drop off my rental 2 times in the past. Today, when I dropped off the trailer in the drop off location, owner/employee said he didn't have room (even though I dropped the trailer in an area with more than adequate room) and that I needed to call Uhaul to request another drop off location. I said that I already dropped the trailer in an area with more than adequate room and I could see that there was plenty of additional parking spaces. For whatever reason, he didn't want to accept the trailer. And he said that he would not call Uhaul for me to find another drop off location and that it was my responsibility to call Uhaul. When I said that I already parked the trailer and disconnected it from my car, he threatened me and said he would call the police to have me arrested. After I left the location, I called Uhaul and spoke with Tia and expressed my concern about the owener/employee threatening me. Tia said she notated my concern in the notes. Tia said that she called the location and they would process the drop off showing that the contract was concluded. This kind of behavior is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I would like a call from a Uhaul repesentative to understand what actions will be taken so that this does not happen again. Kevin Shay
Kevin ShayIf U-Haul does not accept pre-paid debit cards, as mine was decline when I originally tried to use it with this transaction, to then have to find an alternative payment method , to then still be charged by boo boos discount in the amount of $80.60, and U-Haul also charged the other payment method of $71.15!! june SCOTTI have never been treated so rudely in my entire, long life!! A UHaul rep yelling and screaming at me? Basically calling me a liar! I was promised a dozen moving blankets and they were not provided. I was referred to this pickup location by another UHaul location, as this one had the specific van I needed. So, when no blankets were provided, I was told I should have made my request at the original location, instead of WALKING IN IN PERSON at the pickup location and making my request there. I was promised the blankets by a woman who I have seen working there for over a year and was told by one owner a) that she didn't work there and told by the other onwer b) that I couldn't have seen her put my request into the computer as they did not work on UHaul business. A brother/sister business contradicting each other as to who works there and who doesn't and they both ended up screaming at me over the situation. Don't go to this location if you can possibly avoid it. I'll be taking my complaints up the ladder with UHaul.
VIRGINIA CATALDOThe store employees don’t spot you as you back to trailers and customers hook up their own equipment and the store has you pull around to take pictures. The store wasn’t busy yet I was left standing at the counter.

People at U-Haul rental places shouldn’t fight in front of CUSTOMERS. Hard copies of paper work should always be given because you can NOT READ ON YOUR PHONE.. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH U-HAUL AND THERE GOOGLE WEB SITES THAT AREN’T KEPT UP TO DATE, Fee for one day one way should have been $169. now I was charged $260.
Sandra RagsdaleHooking up and unhooking was on me. Fortunately I've rented trailers before so I knew what steps to take. There was a significant amount of concrete chunks left behind from the prior rental. Uhaul attendant cleaned most of it up but that delayed my departure 30 minutes.

Jason WILSONI rented a 5x9 utility trailer at Booboo Discount in Nov 12 2023 I paid $35 for the 1st day at pickup the call the service num to extend for 2 more days wish I paid $70 by phone when I returned the trailer I informed Mr Boo oo that I have already paid and he was very rude and told me I was lying and tried to show him my bank statement wish it shows that I paid and he refused to see it and told me that I never paid for anything not a very good experience
Albert Torres DrozI was supposed to drop the trailer off in Palm Coast. The man there was rude and told me that he would not take it. I went to the Bunnell location that he gave me. They were drinking at 11:00 am in the morning. It took forever for him to accept the trailer. The lot was a disaster. Would not ever recommend either of these locations.
Belinda BalesThe lady at Boo boo discounts had a bad attitude. First, when you walked in, it reaked of cigarette smoke. The lady had a nonchalant attitude. She didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. Then she got flustered because the truck rental was transferred to her store. Also, we definitely asked for a dolly. When we got back to the house, there was no dolly in the truck. When returning the truck, she was arguing with me about the dolly. She said we didn't ask for one. We definitely asked for one. Never again will I use this location. Fail
