David PU-Haul called me upon my u-box's arrival to tell me that the location I had pre-paid for was under construction and no longer available to receive & store my u-box. The regional traffic control manager at the Lacey, WA location did not offer ANY solutions other than ones that COST ME MORE MONEY. U-Haul essentially extorted me for my own property. They would not deliver it to my new apartment for free, they would not store it elsewhere for longer so I could access my things (as I lived far away from the other "closest" location and could not empty it quickly enough that way) nor would she even transfer me to anyone else who could help me. She was unhelpful and completely uncompassionate. I PAID for this service already, I moved across the country and they wanted more money to solve a problem they caused. The real zinger? I only got my stuff back because I could not pay, so they delivered it to this under-construction location for only 7 hours. I had to recruit friends on a holiday weekend and get a trailer to empty it in one day. U-haul has absolutely terrible customer service and I will never use this again for a move nor recommend it to anyone.

Paul MOn-site staff needs training in customer service. Staff came up to the truck as we were pulling in and started off by complaining that we arrived "2 minutes before close." We informed him that we would use the online return system (as we had planned to do) but he actually rolled his eyes at us and said he "would deal with this tomorrow." He was rude and upset, complaining to us about the "condition of the truck" (which was returned just as it was received - we have photos) and continued to make negative comments although we tried to be polite and helpful. We have rented from various UHAUL places over the years and have always had a good experience, this was the first time we have ever experienced being treated poorly from any UHAUL location and we will not be returning to that location for future rentals. Very disappointed. On the plus side, the 1-800 customer service agent that helped us via phone when we picked up the truck was super helpful and very patient, she definitely gave excellent service. Too bad the on-site guy was so horrible.

GREGORY FThis is the third time on using uhaul, and I am extremely disappointed as no one told me things about things. In a nutshell I fell I was ripped by not being told the truth that I did not need to put my bank card to rent this trailer now what should have cost me $ 68 now has cost me $151 and a $35 over draft changes this is the worst as the sales representative basically lied to me just to make a sale... And I am a disabled veteran who only gets $968.00 a month........you people are the worst...... I will do everything in my power to tell everyone what has happened to me.............

Ernest GBald spot noted on one of the tires when we picked it up. One man said he wouldn't send us out like that, another older gentleman said it would be fine, and that we had roadside assistance. Well, at 11 pm somewhere in Missouri it went flat. Wouldn't hold air or a can of fix a flat. Got to the hotel at 2am because of it. Roadside assistance was amazing once they got there, but it never should have happened. Other than that, all went well.

THOMAS BEquipment was defective and they refused a refund because I didn't inform them the strap was unusable. If they did their inspection of their equipment they would have noticed.

Robert BOnly rear and trailer lights were checked. Front headlight was out, got me pulled over and taken in. 2 tires were low, 1 had to be aired multiple times. Drop off location changed more than once. PRICES QOUTED WERE INACCURATE! Paperwork was incorrect. Straps on trailer were old and torn.

BETTY RI had to have a U-haul trailer to haul my vehicle to the dealership in to have it fixed i only needed the trailer for about 2 to 3 hours at the most i am glad this location have this trailer it worked out real good

Jordan JBonham Building Supply needs upgraded to synchronize with the Uhaul Corporation's standards for what is offered to customers. Whether that's providing them with the same equipment, computers software, etc. just make sure they can stay organized and in sync with the proper reservation details. My reservation got mixed up, mischarged, and unaccounted for at one point.
