CLELLON MI've rented U-Haul trucks from various locations, but this one was by far the most welcoming and enjoyable experience I've had. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a smooth move. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of their services.
MICAH HEverything was good in this location, easy process and they left all prepared. My concern was to pick up on sunday, but was perfect.
Reinaldo MThe lot was full and very small. Maneuvering the trailer around was difficult, there didn't seem to be designated spaces for drop offs.
JOSEPH GI returned the truck at approx. 2:30pm on Sat. the 4th, not due till Sun. the 5th, a day earlier then due. There was an employee on the lot that told me to drop the key in the drop box and he would move the truck. My reciept states I returned it after 4:00 and you charged me $20.00. Why am I being charged when there was an employee on the lot and was not after hours????? Uhaul is closed at 2:20 on a Sat.???? Also, the odometer indicated 312 total miles driven, 4 miles less then allowed at 316 and I was charged an additional $18.8 miles???? AND, I returned the truck with more gas then when I picked it up!!!!!!!!!

Denise HFurniture blankets were not available with the truck. I had to go to a full service UHaul location to get them. The hassle, mileage, time, and phone calls to rectify the issue were not in keeping with previous UHaul experience.

Louise JThe black guy was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Long story short, he tried to charge a cleaning fee that wasn't necessary, saying the area where you put your feet on the pedals was dirty. I stated it's not a problem, I can clean it. He then went to the back of the truck, opened the door and stated back there wasn't clean. I told him straight out I would not clean the back because I didn't use the back, which I reminded him when I picked up the truck I would only use it for towing my small trailer which we actually had a conversation about. Originally I just needed a pickup truck, but they didn't have one. I cleaned the van and asked if that was it. He continued to state even if it wasn't me, I should've checked it. I told him first that on the instructions, it does not include opening up the truck and checking it, so I would assume it would have to be him to do so. And if it were that dirty, why didn't he check it with the previous user? I believe this guy is just charging everyone a cleaning fee and not cleaning his trucks, just to get money off them. After, I asked for a receipt, he rudely said he sent it to my email and he waved me out the door saying I should go. I asked him if he was having a good day, he stated he did until I ruined his truck And ruined his day. I told him he was immature and unprofessional and he said "you too!!!" And I left. This was the craziest customer service experience I've ever had and I hope this is the only one like this I will ever have. He definitely ruined MY day for sure.
