I was very disappointed having made reservations a couple of months in advance. When I showed up at 9am Saturday for my pick up, no one was there and the sign said be back Monday. There was NO communication that I was supposed to use a smart phone to get the truck. 45 minutes on hold and finally a person helped me with what i needed to do to secure my truck. She was helpful and knew exactly what to do, however, better communication with me would have been helpful and less stressful. What if I didn't bring my phone or have a smart phone, I would not have been able to get the truck when my daughter had to be out of the apartment that day! In addition, the appliance hand truck, blankets and ties that I ordered were no where to be found. Just an empty truck with no way to get the appliances down 3 flights of stairs. Also, every confirmation I received had my pick up location at a different address and then the day before it changed.

The location was closed. I called U-Haul & waited over 2 hours for a call back that never came. I stopped by New Bern Ave location in Raleigh, NC & Justin helped me to get the truck returned. He did this knowing that the equipment was rented elsewhere. His kindness, time & professionalism were greatly appreciated. That's stellar customer service. He went above and beyond for me.

When truck was picked up, no one mentioned the rear sliding door was locked, nor were there a combination to the lock provided. After about 30m of constant calling the pick up location were we able to retrieve the magical code. Last renter did not clean cargo area and it's the way it was returned .UHaul dropped the ball on this one.

The lock on the U-Haul was extremely difficult to open. Upon trying to retrieve the U-Haul it took over 15 minutes to get the lock to open. I even called requesting a new rental but while I was on the phone with customer service was able to get the lock open. After loading the U-Haul and placing the lock back on we again encountered difficulties with the lock. We had to extend the reservation so we would not be late returning due to difficulties opening the lock. It took attemps from 3 adults and it was well after 3 pm before we finally got it back open so that we could unload the U-Haul. I have NEVER had issues such as these before!!! For future customers sake please replace the lock so that no one else has to have this same experience!!!

My uhaul was dirty with the previous renters things in it. During this time of Covid was horrible I had to clean and sanitize the truck myself. Not including the fact that I waited a very long time for the guy to find a none contact contract that the representative never emailed me any codes or anything to pick up the truck. This was the worst experience ever. I will never use uhaul again.

The uhaul itself was shaking terribly while driving.

I went 23.4 miles 4 times for a total of 93 NOT 153 MILES,like they charged. Never again, UHAUL stinks and Rips off their customers, I know the miles we went and they got us for $88 more then we went.

Our experience with praying hands unable pickup in Greenville NC was awful. The man who ran it refused to help us hook up the trailer to our car in addition never ran the proper headlight/directional check on the car he just walked away from us to go back to washing cars. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Very disrespectful and scary situation.

U-Haul can do nothing to improve the experience. The owner of the company the rents the U-Hauls at this location was just not helpful or inviting in any manner. Just go in take your money and hands keys. You have to figure everything else out. Almost to the point of rude.

This is a less than desirable location. When we entered the building, no one was at the front desk. When she came out from one of the doors behind us, she appeared to be just awaken from her nap, not pleasant nor rude, just someone who “just woke up”, dragging herself to the reception area. The location is in a rugged area and the trucks are just parked on the streets so when I arrived, I looked for an empty side street. There was a “Do not enter” sign in the driveway leading up to the shop. Obviously, this location does not oresent to any customer as welcoming and enticing to rent anything and I wouldn't be surprised! There were more trucks parked on the streets than where I picked up the truck and I did not see the truck I just returned was cleaned or disinfected since the lady who went to get the key from the truck ( same lady who just “ woke up”) walked right back to the building! We left after she went back inside thinking how this location could get any customers?!? My husband and I knew that this is the last time we are using UHaul services after this experience. Thank you and I hope that something positive/process improvement will be implemented within UHaul to improve customer service and overall services being offered.

The guy was very rude, first he accused me of coming in the wrong door to the office and I walked in the front door. I was also wanting inside for 20 minutes by myself waiting for someone to come in. He was talking to his friend on his cellphone the whole time I was in there and he was acting like I was inconvenienceing him by being there. Never gave me any paperwork and was obviously irritated when I tried asking a question, and never inspected the trailer.
