The proprietor is a shady operator who claims to inform renters of information and does not. Charges additional fees for normal usage for cleaning etc... He does not maintain the vehicle's with proper amount of fuel and then over charges for the amount used. I was very disappointed that this location was so dishonest in its representation of UHaul. Definately an F in customer service

Get everything in writing!!! I was quoted a price, told they would match the price from another company and then less than 24 hours before I was to pick up the truck they backed out of their agreed price. The lack of professionalism from the district manager was appalling and disappointing. VERY POOR BUSINESS. It put the business owner at Blakes in a terrible position and left our family in not other position to rent elsewhere due to the time constraints.

They car trailer was on a hill and I had to back up it to hook on. Was also between wood piles. When I got to my location to put my vehicle on the trailer, I noticed one tire had a huge spot with no rubber tread. The actual cords we’re showing. I called uhaul help line at 1:33 pm. The tire was finally changed at 5:30 pm. I don’t believe the trailer should have gone off the lot like that. I feel that having to wait four hours to get this fixed was ridiculous. I would like to see some kind of discount or partial reimbursement for unsafe equipment and/or four hour inconvenience.

An old rundown place, dropped off my trailer and ran for the hills.. dropped before 5pm and no one in sight, i guess it is what it is... At least there was room to drop it off, thanks!

In your ads on TV and the internet, you say that you can return your U-haul wherever. There is a U-Haul place in the town that I was moving to, so I was going to turn it in there. I get an email confirmation that says I have to drive almost 40 minutes away to return. That is definatly false advertisement!

Inside the place is gross. Animals cats and dogs inside. The cigarette smell is so strong. Customer service not that great either. I will start going to council bluffs if I need a uhaul.

This was not the location I requested to return trailer to. Drove to specified requested location only to find out I had to drive over fifty miles out of my way to return. I will NEVER USE UHAUL in the future..

First I pulled in to a lot that had no designated place to pull my uhaul. The hours on the doors said 9-3. It was about 12:15 pm when I arrived. I knocked on the door and there was no answer and locked doors. I returned to get my 14 yr old son and his two friends, As I did not hook up the uhaul the people at the location I picked it up did and I needed help getting it unhooked so I did not have to pull it around town. When we arrived back I had to go up a hill and drive down a grass path to find a spot to unhook. We could not get it unhooked so I sent the boys to try every door to find a worker. He finally comes and states, "I can't believe four of you could not figure out how to get it off." To which my response was, "Well they are 14 and I didn't put it on." So he pulled it up, and laid the tongue on the grass and the uhaul starts rolling downtown the hill into my truck. The 3 boys pushed against it and held it while he took his sweet time fining a rock to put under a tire. When I asked if I needed to sign anything he said nope and walked back toward the building. In short he was not helpful and if I was uhaul, I would not want him representing me.

The place I had to return it to was not open at 11am. And I was charged 22$ after I returned it for a reason not disclosed on my receipt.
