Make sure the customer before us sweeps out the back. Clean the ice and snow off of the vehicle so the ramp doesn't freeze up.

Although it's a convenience store / gas station with extended hours, the people who are qualified to rent out vehicles are only there sporadically so it's sometimes frustrating to arrive during business hours and not have a rental agent on site.

Wrong size trailer and took almost an hr to get a trailer I hired a helper I rent from uhaul all the time this day cost me a lot of lost money the furnture I had to pick up got soaked as we missed our window of time to pick up before the rain due to the screw up by uhaul I honestly don’t usually complain but I when I rent trailers to get fur tire I make over 1200$ a day and this day was all around the worst experience I have had thank you P.S. this is 100% on uhaul not the location the girl at the retail location was professional and did her best to resolve this issues but uhaul reservations and please listen to the recorded agreement it is all on uhaul not the location thank you

I think that there should be a clear explanation of what the mileage Allotment of the rental actually is. I was given an amount which would basically equal to on ramps and the distance between where I was going, and where I was coming from and this is a bit unrealistic considered if a person where to get lost or misplaced It would Result in quite a unexpected in to me unreasonable amount of additional cost. Something I think that most customers would appreciate a little bit more clarity and leeway when dealing with the mileage while moving.

This was a good initial 1st experience with U-Haul. I was quite pleased, however... 1.) The Door Rubber Trim Seal was coming down and my 70 year old father got tangled up in it and almost fell out of the U-Haul when attempting to get out. 2.) The Dolly I had to drive out of my way to another location WITH THE U-HAUL (which equaled = MORE UNNECESSARY EXCESSIVE MILEAGE!) An Even though the people were pleasant and nice at this other location, there wasn't really anybody yet available to help assist with hooking up the dolly, and so I had to eventually leave without a dolly because of the time frame dwindling down... 3.) When going to Refill the Fuel tank to half a tank (where it was when I picked up the U-Haul), even with the ignition switch key on ACC, the Fuel Float/Sending Unit was very delayed and laggy showing up on the Fuel Gauge, instead of the fuel needle gradually going up, it would swing up to quarter tank increments after every $20~$30 pumped... This caused me to overfill the Tank to about 90% of a FULL TANK!!! I even tried to shut off the boxvan and restart it a few times because my father even himself was wondering why the heck the needle was not going up even after pumping a dozen gallons of fuel! These where the only setbacks. Oh and if you do end up renting an Auto Transport or Dolly... Be prepared to unhook them to be able to have enough room to pull out the ramp all the way for in order to cart things on and off the pull out ramp with a cart dolly! Other than these few setbacks, I'd still give this experience a solid 8.5 out of 10 stars... Id still recommend U-Haul over Penske as they are ALOT less money daily and Sunday -Thursday they are still 0.89¢ a mile, rather than 0.99¢ Penske charges... Hope this helps, and do be aware that if you return your boxvan with less than 1/4 tank of fuel, U-Haul will charge you a $30 fee! All in all, I would definitely use U-Haul myself again and recommend them to others...

The process was rushed, they did not have the supplies we needed and overheard us discussing going to home depot instead of telling us they were waiting for us at the Lebanon Uhaul also they didn't have a bathroom. There was also absolutely no service for a few miles making it impossible to do the app checkin process.

A little disorganized ,agent had to work the store side and gas pumps and I had to wait for check in to get my rental and it took longer than it should and was worse when I bought it back in took over 30 minutes to check out.

The rental location & agent were perfect & the setup was flawless. The truck was clean. BUT: The truck had problems, I emailed about them to: 791002_AFM@uhaul.com And nobody has bothered to respond in any manner.

I signed up for curbside. No code was ever sent to me. There is no cell service in this location. The owner did come in and help but the process added almost 2 hours to my day. Gracias

The Springfield, VT, U-Haul is very unusual compared to many sites. It is easy-to-deal with, friendly, clean, with gas pumps, food, a car-wash, and a delicious barbeque across the street.

When I went to get tbe trailer no one was there that knew how to use the u-haul site. Tbey had to call a manager in a d I wIted for over an hour for them to arrive. When tbey did they were very polite and sorry for the delay. When connecting the trailer, the site didn't have tools to connect up the chains, I went and bought tools so they could, they did re-imburse my founds for the tools though. As this is the closest site to me I will go agian but this last experience was not good.

Location said that the U-haul was closed and I needed a one word code to get my key. Not for a lock box, but from the attendant at the location. I canceled my original reservation and opened started a new one after waiting over an hour to get the situation resolved. Another employee had to be called on on their day off because another customer and myself were waiting. The location only made effort to fix the situation after a second customer came in with the exact same issue. U-haul online and phone support were not able to help at all.

The truck we rented smelled like pot in the cab, something was wrong with the steering/ front end, it felt extremely loose and wasn't safe to drive, also the right front corner of the box leaked when it rained and soaked our belongings, water damage to boxes and couch cushions. I would not recommend using Uhaul at any location after this experience.

Black River Kwik Stop Need Public WiFi access at that location as there is very very poor cell service in the area for when you try to check in your Uhaul to pick up or drop off on your cell. Free Wifi at that location would have made it an Excellent in rating location. ¡Gracias!

I'm still incensed that I changed my pick up time from 10 AM to 8 AM, received confirmation from both the rep on the phone and email/text, and arrived at the pick up time only for my account to not have a reservation on it (therefore not allowing me to do mobile pick up) and when I called the scheduling department, they a) claimed I had "changed it at the last minute" (I had not, it was five days ago) and then b) told me "oh schedule changes don't link to your account often, this happens a lot" and told me my only option was to wait until 9 AM, when the store opened, to pick it up, meanwhile I had people to help me move arrive an hour earlier than they had to. How this was not brought to my attention sooner is BEYOND me. It put us severely behind schedule. This experience was bad enough that I am not using U-Haul again unless my hands are tied. Do better.

Few things, A . Online reservation needs to be more accurate with type of credit card allowed to pay for U-Haul And which truck u end up with B. Online customer service and via phone was horrible and rude and non helpful C.should be credited for any gas over quarter mark, or informed how much the vehicle takes for gas

The truck was well used and everything worked. However the steering wheel was disintegrating and was unpleasant to touch as it made my hands feel dirty the whole drive. Also, the front tires were worn and balding.

I have made arrangements to pick up the U-Haul after hours. This was not correctly set up and the person that handles the U-Haul has gone home for the day. I had to wait for him to be called and return to the station in order to issue me the U-Haul.

The door hinge on the driver side was broken causing the door to not shut all the way and the wind to tunnel in the car, so I had to open the passenger window to stop it in sub 20 degrees weather. It was a choice of freezing or have a headache. Secondly the inside of the cab had sand all over the seats and the cargo bay was full of dirt and mud upon pickup. I cleaned it before loading as to not get it all over everything I packed. I have had 2 experiences using U-Haul, the first was impeccable and not a thing wrong this time was not the same story, it added more time and stress to my planned move out and I would not rent from them again.

I was sent to this location because my local U- Haul didn't have the size truck I needed, so already I'm looking at about 50 miles of additional charges. I reserved a 10 foot truck and when I got there the two trucks that had been there were gone.They had not been returned. I was resigned to take a 15 foot truck at the higher rate and it had not been returned clean.

UHaul ripped us off $133 , we called many times an no one ever got back, so will report UHaul to better business bureau. After using credit card with your company, the card got hacked, so no , not happy with UHaul an will never use again an will share this experience online, will post every where

Easy to find and access location. You don't have to worry about trying to squeeze the trucks in and out of tough spots as it's a huge parking lot and there is a car wash and vacuum on site!

The only issue I have is that I called to reserve a truck 3 days before I needed it and was told that the truck is reserved but I should check on it the day before to make sure the truck is still available. Not sure why I needed to do that if the truck was reserved for me on that date.

The store owner was extremely unprofessional. He got angry with m & demanded the truck back 12 hours early. Nobody would believe what he hung on my car door, but I took a video. UHaul does not care about any of this and told me it wasn't their problem. I will NEVER use UHaul again!!! Also: be aware that prices change repeatedly from reservation to final sale. My mileage change went from .79 per mile to 1.00 to 1.09. The insurance charge changed twice as well. UHaul has become a very shady business with zero customer service.

Person running the counter seemed as though not fully trained and couldn't answer all questions I had. I've rented from uhaul before so luckily I had an idea what to expect. Truck hadn't been gone thru as was smelly inside the cab and seemed unaware of my arrival. Overall things went fair so couldn't complain much but a more alert trained person behind the counter would've left me with a better experience. I believe some customers might not have handled it as well.
