It's not worth my time. I Have to wait more than 30 minutes even though I finished everything online.also when I was charged the lady added $15 with out my approval

The app didn't work and we weren't giving the furniture pads or the dolly and had to get our own. The people in the phone were extremely friendly but having to call over and over was frustrating as we were on a time crunch
Mya HI got charged a cleaning fee and the truck was already dirty..and got charged twice for 6 gallons of fuel $55. Went from $40 to $285, total rip off
Kamau AOverall not a good experience. The lady that helped me didn't have great customer service. She pretty much left me to figure thing's out on my own. Also when I went to drop the trunk back off the app was not working. I tried to get her to assist me and she wouldn't open the door saying that " we are closed". But she was still in the salon. She just told me to drop the keys off in the drop box but it would have been nice for her to help with the process if she was still there. Also, there was not a dolly to rent nor did the trunk have a ramp which made the moving process longer. The trunk had no A/C. It was 95 degrees outside. Unacceptable! Overall, this was not a good experience and I will never rent from this location again.
Mykea MOrdered a utility dolly and after my card was processed she advised she took the dolly off because she doesn't have one and advised I could go to any Uhaul location and rent one. I went to six and none was available. I only rented from this location because of the dolly. I had to rent one from a local Home Depot. The passengers side mirror kept falling causing it hard to use. Worse experience
Katheryne BThere was nobody at the place to even give me the code to get the key/ then the customer service lady when I had receive the code from her didn't notate that she gave me a complimentary 24 hrs due to there mishap so now I have to wait 72 hrs just to get my money back. Really horrible service at this spot in the customer service line when I was calling to be able to get access to pick up the Uhaul truck!

JOHN PThis experience was the worst I have ever had and I think this is the second or third time I have ever complained to a company in the last decade. Over the last three years, I have rented from U-Haul twice (or three times), Penske twice, and Budget once. First off the app does not work so I had to call for help. Then it took 20 min for someone to pick up the phone just to be told to use the Chrome Browser on my phone. Then the person on the Chrome Browers didn't explain that the code has a weird suffix at the end of it so I spent 5 min asking them over and over what the code was and they did not respond. Then when I got into the truck the back bed was dirty, i.e. it had trash in it as well as several planks of wood. Also, the cab had a leftover pen, business card, and some cardboard in it. In the cab, the fuel tank was not filled. Outside the vehicle had long scratches, dents, and areas where the truck had clearly been repaired in a quick and dirty fashion. Additionally, I ordered blankets and two dollys. But I only got one dolly and no blankets. Then when I went to return the truck the damn Chrome Browser and froze on me in the middle of taking pictures (I have a brand new Samsung Z Fold 5 with 5G AT&T unlimited data, I always keep my phone up to date). When I went to log back in it said I no longer had any open rental contracts. So in summary, from beginning to end this whole experience was terrible. I will never-ever rent again from U-Haul and I will be posting on Google, Yelp, BBB, Facebook etc how terrible this experience was. Having said all this - the one good thing was that the truck did drive and brake in a safe manner - that is the only good thing about this experience that can be said.

DURON WI was charged for fuel and I returned truck with more fuel in it than when I picked it up. Truck was on empty when I picked it up. I took a picture. Engine light was on continuously during my rental and brakes were making concerning sounds
Michael PThe reserved rental truck wasn't readily available had to wait for its return a long time, but the UHaul manager kept being apologetic so that kept me from getting upset. So my suggestion is to give some type of concession like throw in the Padding, but not even that was available at this location for purchase!

Tericka RTruck was dirty in cab as well as the box.. broken glass and trash. The gas cap sensor wasn't working saying that the gas cap needed to be tightened. The tire light was on stating that the rear right tire was low and it was checked and was not low.
Janice wI was not able to simply pick up the truck through the app like i was lead to believe by Uhaul. There was trash in the driver's seat, the blankets I rented were not in truck and I was made to drive to another location to rent them separately which was a ridiculous experience because the woman called references to rent me $10 BLANKETS!!! It took almost 2 hours to be on my way back home to load truck and movers and everyone were waiting. It was a much less than ideal experience and infuriating.

AUCHANTE MVehicles and keys are not secured. Vandals and previous renters are allowed to access and drive vehicles in between rentals. Do not trust the Uhaul emobile system. It's unreliable and sets renters up for bogus charges and liability.
Lloyd PI did not get to confirm the mileage or fuel level in the truck before leaving. I thought that would have been done online but it was not. I couldn't ask the location owner because she was too busy styling hair and her ship was full. I don't believe I had that many miles and stated that on my return but was never contacted.

Angel LHigher more staff to cover when an emergency arises. Please inspect your trucks upon arrival to check behind the previous renter. Maybe your just short on staff so that would more than likely solve most of the issues I ran into and others would experience. Gracias

Demetrius EI scheduled a one way specifically because I had no intention of returning to Stone Mountain since I was moving to Jonesboro and there is a Uhaul down the street from my house. But to my surprise some lady called me at 10:30 asking what time I would have to truck back I said 11:30 she told me it was for 11am and on Hambrick Rd. That was extremely inconvenient to me since I requested a pick up in Stone Mountain but had to pick up in Decatur. And my drop off was at Tara Blvd but I had to go back to Stone Mountain.

I called the number provided but because I didn't understand she proceeded to telling me she is on her way to the location and took a deep breathe and hung up in my face. Once she arrived to the pick up location I went in her business. She asked me if I'm the youn lady for the uhaul I states yes. She stated to me this process is very easy all I had to do was put in the reservation number to start the process. I then said I understand that but it's not allowing me to put in the number or shows me where to put in my reservation number to start the process. She then said u know what I'll just do it for u. Once she started the process on her end that's when I then received a text message to actually do the process. Which means she never actually sent nothing out to me and once I said that to her she immediately stated you know what I have other customers coming in. I really took that to offense because technically I am your customer and because I didn't understand the steps and she didn't send out the link until I was in front of her she was beiNG rude as if it was my fault. I politely said to her I don't appreciate her service and she was being rude she then replied I'm not being rude I'm trying to help you. I said wow this is not help she the proceeded to say the reason I got into this business is because I really don't have any dealings with it everything is done online people pick up and go so I'm actually going out of my way to help you. She said I could have just told you to call the 1800 number and let them guide you. So my response back to her was so because you never had this issue and now you do this how you treat your client. She begins to say sweetie let me finish this process for you so you can be on your way. Me still not know what to do. She then gave me a pamphlet and said you will need this to return the truck. My words was how can I return the truck and I had issues with picking up the truck and her words was once she had processed everything thru that I wouldn't have and issue. She gave me the key and I left. Once returning my rental yet again I had an issue with the return. She had to complete everything on her behalf. She was very irratied and nasty towards me an kept calling me sweetie which is very rude. My husband had to call her for me to complete this entire process. She was so nice to my husband by the way he had not one issue. I wouldn't refer anyone to her
Quietta WGive local owners the ability to do more than apologize to customers for a terrible rental experience. The lack of sanitation, awful driving experience, and poor customer service have knocked down UHaul several pegs on my list of rental companies.

DANNIS JI paid for a hand trolley rental with my truck but the hand truck wasn't with the vehicle, I disputed the charge and was supposed to be called by the area manager before my card was charged. That never happened, the charge on my card was for the full amount including the things that I never got

Judy SCab should have been returned clean and wasn't. I can deal with that. At least this location had the truck I reserved. They were also friendly. Two locations, last week took reservations for equipment they didn't have and forced me to push my whole move back a week costing me money, time and wasting people's offers to help me move. One of those locations couldn't have been more dismissive and rude about UHaul's mistake. Because of this UHaul will no longer be my first choice for anything, propane refills included.

Travis GPick up was easy; it took about 5 minutes (manual check out completed for the truck). The check in, however, not so much. I was asked to use the drop box instead of getting the truck manually checked in. I tried to use the system but it wouldn't work. Several people tried to assist (everyone but the lady at the location who rented me the truck). I eventually had to get the truck manually checked in (after about 20 minutes) which took her all of 2 minutes to do. Why didn't she just check me in from the start?
Kenya AThe drop off place was a hair salon and the owner was not even there when the truck was dropped off. I would strongly recommend having more than one person knowledgeable on the process of returning vehicles to reduce the likelihood of this happening again.
