The trucks check engine light came on half way through the 80 mile trip. The bed of it was dirty dusty and gross. Otherwise, it did do what it was intended for.

The owner, David Caruso, was amazing. The night before he went to the other location and picked up the trailer. That saved me from wasting 45 minutes and having to pickup the trailer. The first fifteen minutes of the trip went well. Then there was an unforseen problem with the truck. Fifteen minutes into the trip the check engine light came on. Twice the truck started lurching so bad I almost became sick and had to slow to 10mph below the speed limit to control the truck. At times when I stepped on the brake pedal the engine would start racing and if I didn't let it to cycle through there was no pickup power when I stepped on the gas pedal. The truck shook and bounced worse than any U-Haul truck I've ever rented. Again Mr. Caruso went above and beyond by going out of his way to pickup the trailer. U-Haul needs more people like him.
Thomas Srental location office owner was smoking in office, unacceptable condition for non smoker. Vehicle was not filled with windsheild washer, Location owned added insurance wihtout my permission.

richard hThere was an $8 fee on my bill that I don't know what it is for and was not told about. I was told by the regional representative that I spoke with on the phone that the trailer would be available any time after 2 pm until close at 7. I was called by an employee that they had expected me at 2 and that he needed to leave so could I come right then or come back at a later time than I had planned on. It all worked out and we got exactly what we needed but that's what happens when you can't speak directly to the actual business owner and have to go through a middle person. The business owner was awesome to deal with.
