Daniel D.Truck was extremely filthy on the inside. There was a pack of American cigarettes in the center console with a 1/2 smoked one in a pack that stunk the cab of gross stale burnt tobacco. There were squished bugs on the inside of windshield and the dirt and debris on outside of windshield would not wash off due to the poor condition of the wipers. A sticky substance covered the steering wheel and door handles. Mud, dust and hair or animal fur covered both driver and passenger seat and floor. I mentioned this to the person working and she did not accept responsibility, instead was told someone else did not clean properly and that the dirt inside can not be removed. This U Haul does not make cleanliness or the customers personal safety a priority. There still exists communical diseases that can be controlled by ensuring the equipment you rent is sanitized to allow for safe handling.

lou C.Returned vehicle without any issues. Inquired again about military rates or discounts and still was told there was nothing available. Overall I was not very satisfied with my rental as I paid $7,000 for a truck for 5 days without ANY equipment rentals. Also, suspension in 26 ft trucks are very rough as belongings got damaged along the way, air bag suspension recommended.
david L.The truck I reserved wasn't available and had to take a smaller one. I had to make multiple trips because of this. The truck itself was in terrible condition and not nice to drive. The truck also only had half a tank of gas, which made it harder to refill to same spot.
Jamie J.Rented a 6x12 trailer for three days. Worked fine, towed well, good exterior lighting, but the trailer clearly needed some new tires and one major element that needs to be addressed is these units desperately need a jack stand to raise and lower the coupler as they are heavy even when unloaded but if one wants to disconnect temporarily when the trailer is loaded it is almost impossible since you can't lift the trailer off your hitch. These trailers would also benefit from having an interior light. Otherwise price is right but be aware of trailer ball sizing (2â€) as the website doesn't make it clear as they like to upcharge you with a receiver rental if they can. Note that a regular 1 7/8†ball will also work just fine. UHaul app also didn't work when trying to do online return so that complicated things a bit. But in the end the trailer did what I needed it to do.
AARON T.Ensure the the truck is in working order. The light in the cargo bay did not work (dial rotated up to click, but light must be burnt out). The passenger side mirror could not be adjusted, which created a safety issue for me. I didn't realize this until I brought the car home, but because this was the third reschedule, I was desperate to move and did so. I was anxious the entire trip as the mirror was rattling all the way. I also did not like that Uhaul allowed me to book a one-way rental 10ft truck, but repeated stuck me with a 20ft truck. One uhaul rep was kind enough to tell me this is likely to happen again, because they don't want to lose the popular sizes of local truck. In the end, I had to reschedule 3 times, and rent a round trip 15ft, had to pay a lot more for this and given the safety hazard of a non-functional passenger side mirror, this is not an experience that I every want to go through again.
Ali H.I was not happy with the $10 cleaning fee. This is customer abuse. Either increase the base price or provide documentation or eveidence that the unit was returned "untidy" or in excess of normal use. I requested that the unit be checked and was told that that was not necessary. So...??? why the fee.

Arriving at 9:00am on Sunday morning and we left within 10 mins with the truck, blankets and clear directions on returning, how to gas up etc. The clerk made it an easy process which was most helpful as moving especially during a heat wave is stressful. And I returned the truck before going to work on Tuesday morning at 7:30am, dropping the keys in the box and by 9:00am they had emailed me my receipt.

Gehad E.Great system to access vehicle after hours! The payment system at the end didn't seem to work, I tried 2 different credits cards but got an error processing the payment. Also, would be great to know in advance that the customer needs additional ID. I had to drive back home to get my passport. IDing using photos works well.
