We "reserved" a trailet in Castle Rock but the day before pick up they called and said they didn't have one unless we wanted to drive 5 hours to pick one up. After 3 hours on the phone to finally Stacy from customer support got us the one we used.

I got sent to 3 different Uhaul locations before getting the trailer. The 800# people kept sending me to wrong location. That was super annoying and I don't think the 50 dollars I got off the trailer was enough of a apology.

The rental line was sooo long and took almost an hour to get help with uhaul truck rental ! They may have been down some personnel but people from hardware had nothing to do and just stood there and watched they could've been helping to assist in rentals it was horrible, and then I was overcharged and had to call U-Haul the whole thing was just very deceptive with hidden charges and costs for renting a truck and then waiting in line and losing a couple hours of moving time is not the way to start out you're moving day I'll try someplace else next time I need a truck

What a hassle. 3rd location to pickup a truck. Last minute changes. No notification. If I hadent called I would have been at the wrong location 22 miles away. Same old excuse. Shortages??? Old outdated truck.

The windshield was filthy and the steering was shoddy. If I wasn't on a tight schedule, I would have left the truck in the lot. I know this is a dealer for uhaul and they can only control so much. Uhaul needs to maintain the trucks better. Seriously one of the scariest experiences moving, this truck was just plain unsafe.

Big Tool Box did not have the blankets or the utility dolly that I had added to my order even though I received an email confirmation stating that they were reserved for me. The furniture dolly that they gave me was disgusting and old but luckily I did not have a use for it so I just left it secured in the back of the truck. After dropping the U-Haul off at its destination (not this location) I receive a call telling me that there is damage to the left side of the U-Haul. However, that damage was there when I picked up the U-Haul at Big Tool Box and that day I took pictures of it including the whole exterior of the truck just in case, and I am really glad I did. The caller also stated that the furniture dolly is in rough shape. The caller says that they reached out to Big Took Box but that whomever they spoke to at Big Tool Box said they have no idea about the furniture dolly. Even though I never used that dolly and it was in the same shape I received it in. Unfortunately this place was the closest to the starting point of my trip but I would say if you can go somewhere else for a U-Haul, you probably should.

I ordered blankets with my reservation well in advance. The teenager working the counter told me they cannot see the blanket inventory until they pull up the reservation. I don't believe that. So I had no blankets for my move. Had I known before I picked up my truck, I could have brought some from home. They couldn't have cared less.

I live in the mountains and had to keep the trailer one extra day due to my mountain road being solid ice and safety of the trailer and I would be at risk if returned on time. I got a call stating we need the trailer back no questions asked before 10:00 am. Again trailer was due 5:00 pm the night prior. Long story short they ended up charging me $125 due to late fees. I also had to detach the trailer all alone store unable to help. I was thankful the guys with Richie's Lawn care helped me out. Staff at this location is a mob mentality and over charge you. This should have been a $60-$70 rental.

The first Uhaul location I went to was completely worthless. They had no rentals, had no knowledge of any other location. The second location was more helpful and found us the correct rental. I thought all locations could interface with the others. I will keep this in mind for my next rental situation.

When I checked the tail lights with a sales person in CO everything was working fine but after 20 miles of driving no blinkers on the right side and no brake light. Bulbs kept on dying so I had to buy few of tail lights assembly just in case, as you can not change just the bulb on those utility trailers. After some time bulbs would work but ground connection was so bad and oxidated that it would switch off all my blinkers (safety thing on Volvo) or I had to switch the car off while driving or pull it on the side of the road shake the wires for blinkers to start working. But how many times you can stop on a destination Denver Chicago, not many you want to drive as much as possible as long as possible with no hiccups and I had too many. Eventually got pulled over on the side of the road by a State trooper "because i changed the lane with no blinker" after I explained the situation luckily he let me go. Trailer was clean and all but wiring issues were just too much!!!

The truck that was rented to me had a lot of issues. The roof leaked and was not disclosed to me. The seats were soaking wet and the cup holders were full of water partially frozen. It seemed the leak was tended to with some paper towels but let's be honest, those only go so far.

To begin with, inspect the u-hauls when they arrive. I was driving down the interstate and the wheel FELL OFF on your trailer. With my twins (age 6) I am going all over the interstate trying NOT TO WRECk! Then, you left my family (2 small children, husband, and three small dogs under 5 lbs.) and I on the side of a BUSY interstate for 5-6 HOURS! Then, 6 and 1/2 hours later we are told we have 30 minutes to unload and unload the uhaul onto anither trailer (as the store was closing for the day). :-(

Uhaul scheduling is a mess. I received multiple communications changing the pickup location. Those communications had a different drop off location. My drop off was one way, but uhaul kept telling me to bring the truck back near where I rented it. The website versus email or text was always different information. Very confusing. If there was an alternative to renting with Uhaul, I'd use it. This is not rocket science.

The person who helped me did not really have any information on how to return the truck after hours. He gave me the keys and told me to find the truck with the numbers on the top and sent me on my way. The location didn't have any doilies or furniture movers but that really isn't their fault. Customer service was not great

When i came to the truck, it was buries in snow. I did not have a scraper and it took me 10 minutes just to clear it off of the windshield! I would have thought that would already have been done by the dealership. The worst experience I ever had! That is not all! When I returned the vehicle, I put in $12.00 in gas to make sure that was plenty since I only drove the 15" truck 16.90 miles! I received my bill and they charged me an additional $19.48 in gas!!!! I said how can a vehicle that has only driven 17 miles use $20 in gas! He said that the contract stated it was 7/8 full of gas and to return it with the same amount. He said I should have taken a picture of the gas tank to verify it! REALLY! Here is the info on this place. BIG TOOL INC 8080 S HOLLY ST. CENTENNIAL, CO.
