Driver and passenger interior dirty. Garbage (opened bag of chips) was in Vehicle from previous Driver. Floor mats covered in dry mud.Laura M.
Bad customer service on the phone. Where I should pick up the van location was closed. I have to take a taxi on my own expenses. And my phone called was transferred to three ppl. Everyone told me to wait and then move me to other one and I have to tell them my issue again and again and again. It's such horrible customer service and bad connections. Never againOsama M.

The person at the store was very friendly and helpful. When I noticed the bill was over what I was expecting, he explained what the charges are. It was identified that a charge was not supposed to be there and he got on the phone with UHaul to reverse. The wait time for contacting the UHaul customer service is quite long and something should be done to relieve this line.Gilbert B.

It'd be really helpful to have a gas gauge. I had no idea how much gas to fill and did it 3 times at the gas station.Miao Z.
I reserved on line. There was a mix up when I got there. I had to wait for them to sort it out. They stated the previous renter brought the van back late. I did NOT get any refund for the time I lost because of this. I asked if the van was clean and was told the surfaces that anyone would touch were wiped. When I got into the van there was bird poop inside of the van on the passenger side and back. I took the liberty of wiping it down myself..the wipes came away very dirty. There was an almost empty water bottle left as well as a hat and old bag...definitely not cleaned out. The van itself was in good condition on the outside and ran well.AMYA C.
Please have the van cleaned and serviced. It ran well, but many indicator lights were on and it was concerning. If you have to use this location please choose online check in. I checked in, in person and it took significantly longer than my previous experiences renting vans or trucks.Kenneth E.

Upon arrival, Big Deal Food (Bipp? (sic?) determined that during equipment exchange the day previous (see 10' Truck), UHaul had not properly documented the just delivered truck (He said one was dropped off and one was taken!). Owing to system requirements, BDF could not process my transaction. First we called the 'district manager'_not available!; next, we called UHaul, but the processing was complicated. Did not pay close attention to UHaul difficulties but the collection of my intended vehicle took an unreasonable amount of time_more than 30 mins including me having to inspect the vehicle for mileage and gas info n.b. owiing to delays I would not allow the BDF-UHaul call to be terminated_was afraid we'd have to start over if the call ended. Bipp (BDF) is a very kind man and clearly wanted the best for us all_I believe UHaul was at fault! A drag!!!Jay M.
I don't know that the vehicle was cleaned (COVID) before or after my use. The driver's door was locked when I accessed the vehicle but the passenger and rear doors were unlocked.Craig L.

It took over 30 minutes to reserve the truck. Witch I've never had to do before. So I was reserving it at the store. Truck should have been cleaned on the inside as there was something all over the drivers seat. And I had to clear the ice from the truck with my snow brush as there wasnt one in the truck. That took an extra 15 minutes of my 4 hours. The guy in the store was great and fairly close to my location!!Christine B.
The van was FROZEN from the freezing rain. No ice scraper or anything like that in the Van or provided by this location. I spent 35 minutes using my debit card to scrape the ice so i could SEE!!!!! Worst experience of my life, will never use Uhaul again.Mariah H.

The location was in an extreme state of construction with the only one small access to the storage facility constantly blocked by an electrical firm's van. The path to the access was also very narrow and the surface very soft. Despite our warning to the electrical firm's workers that they needed to leave the access open as we would be returning within the hour with another load for storage, they returned and parked right in the door area. I tried to back your rented panel van as close as I could but did not account accurately for a back door they opened given the poor views afforded by the tiny mirror camera. The result was damage to both vans. There were no U-Haul employees outside to guide customers and to help marshal trade vehicles. The point is that the facility is not safe for customers to use at present and steps need to be taken to reduce your insurance liability exposure -- which is presently extensive. Fortunately, no one was hurt but it could have ended very badly. On this basis, I find U-Haul negligent in its management of this facility while the grounds and lot are under construction. In court, you would not be defensible.Mr Geoff I.
Clean the odor out of the van..smelt like wet dogs...the van itself was clean but the odor was unbearable. For that reason only I would go to another location.Heather D.
I checked in online but the information was not available to the store, so they had to re-enter all the information I have provided. This would be a very significant improvement. Also, I wanted to extend the hours I required the vehicle, but the website didn't provide any option to do it, not even ahead of time. This would also be very helpful.Rene A.

I rent from U-Haul regularly and this was my first time in St Catharines. Usually I would get a sheet of paper indicating gas level when I return the vehicle. I was given the sheet and was not told to go on line for gas level. I ended up putting much more gas than I used and therefore it cost me more than it should have. It took approximately 30 minutes for the lady to check me in and another 10-15 to check me out when returning the vehicle. It was a very slow processJim O.
Extremely slow service and the dolley and mattress cover I ordered were not there. Definitely would not go back to this location.Nolan K.
