Very dangerous vehicle. The mirror was TAPED on…didn't notice until I started driving. Thank God I had my husband there. Vehicle pick up was in an extremely sketchy neighborhood and the guy behind the counter had no idea how to work the system. After explaining I already checked in…twice. He handed me the keys. Will not be renting again.

The staff was not helpful AT ALL and now only accepts an online check-in upon arrival, which is not a seamless or quick method. Based on the location of this Uhaul, quicker service would be preferred to ensure a timely departure for safety purposes. I will never be returning to this location again.

The vehicle was given to me with a slashed tire which wasn't noticed until I was at my location with a full load and had driven on three major highways in Dallas. Extremely unsafe.

didn't seem to have any of the information i made for the reservation (asked what size truck i needed, for how long, if i wanted insurance. The price i paid did not match the quote i was given ($43.95 quote vs 58.14 actual) even though i only drove it 7 miles. The person renting me my truck asked me if they could downgrade me to the 12 foot truck after i told them i needed the 15. Return was easy and quick

The customer service, if the truck is returned before scheduled time and refueled… the deposit should be returned. I paid 182.01 for what I thought would only be 82.01 and this was not explained by the associate.

When asking if clean besides excessive grass it should be asked/walked through as the vehicle smelled like weed. No guidance on how to identify the vehicle. The representative took a long time to complete the transaction - what was the point of doing it online.

Did not have the size of truck we reserved, did not have the additional equipment such as dolly and furniture roller so not sure what the point of making a reservation was. They could care less that people schedule and plan with the idea that a reservation will get them the equipment they, you know, made a reservation for. We had another rental scheduled for that location and we obviously will never use that location again.

When we dropped off the truck. They were not interested in coming out and making sure the mileage, fuel and truck were in order, so it made us a little afraid to drop it off without having confirmed they were taking possession. All in all our move went very well and the equipment was good. Just not the the best location to pick/up or drop off trucks, especially when you have really nice facilities close to where we were.

Booked the rental the day prior with no issues. When trying obtain my rental via the app the screen went blank. And proceeded to tell me I had no service/data on my phone. I had full bars and other apps were working fine. I then tried to use the website via Google to obtain the rental and was constantly told on the site that I was not at the location. I was standing directly in the store. The employee told me to call the support number. While on hold I continued to trying via my phone. Eventually I was able to get through via the Safari browser. The process took about 45 minutes to get the rental which is unacceptable but it was due to software issues. The mobile app needs to be able to do these basic functions. It would have made the process easier and saved me the headache.

Unhelpful and only supplied broken equipment, and did not even have dollies. The truck was broken in so many ways but I had no choice since it was the only one and I had to start moving.

The van was despicable and if I could have gone to another location I would have. It was so filthy inside and out that I stopped to purchase air freshener. I used a broom to sweep some of the trash and dirt. The store clerk was brusque and acted as if I was disturbing him. When I returned the van and questioned a receipt or confirmation he said “you'll get it from uhaul”. I sat in my car waiting for the confirmation and he kept looking out at me and finally went to look at the van. I received a confirmation shortly thereafter.

This location is ran horribly. They try to sneak extra charges on bills. One person running both convenience store and UHaul. Rude customer service. Horrible experience. This should not be a UHaul location. I've used UHaul for more than 10 years and this was the most horrible experience I've ever encountered. Me nor my family will be returning!

Took almost an hour to get my truck even after making an online appointment for nothing I guess. Did not walk the truck with me and I'm pretty sure I was over charged for mileage. NEVER USING UHAUL AGAIN AND WILL TELL FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO EITHER.

The truck I rented was dirty when I received it and I was charged for a utility dolly which I did not rent. The staff was also inattentive and un-helpful. My truck was not loaded with the appropriate items that I did rent and was dirty. This is separate from a claim I have also filed against U-Haul given that your bug-infested moving blankets contaminated my furniture such that it is unusable. I will never use U-Haul again after this miserable experience.

This location went out of their way to be helpful. They don't normally take tow dollys but they took ours. They happily helped us get the car off the dolly. Polar opposite of the Columbia location.

The location was fine. Your online system on the other hand, is horrendous and predatory. I filled out my reservation for pickup at 2240 Irving Blvd, and drop off at 1350 E Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX 75081. Your system allowed me to do this, and indicated it was fine. Then, when I finalized the reservation and paid, your system switched my drop off to 2240 Irving Blvd without my consent or knowledge. When I tried to call and change it, I was informed it could not be changed, and that the bait and switch was in fact intentional. I was also told if I dropped off at my originally selected location, I would be charged a $300.00 fine. On my $80.00 reservation. What a complete scam.

I rent trucks from Uhaul ALL THE TIME but never have this problem. I recently ordered from a neighborhood dealer and was charged (2) fuel charges fees but I returned the truck back with the normal fuel. I'm disputing the $30 and the $30.48 charges. I've had this problem with this particular Uhaul dealer before and it's really disgusting how they try to scam money out of the customer. Please refund me for those fuel costs of $60.48 as it's not a legitimate charge. Plus, the truck wasvery unclean when I first received it.

The equipment was not clean, the car tow had broken straps, truck had several areas of damage. Nothing I did or was accused of doing, however it was still ugly to drive. The team that I worked with over charged my credit card for charges that had nothing to do with me. The worst customer service ever. I will never use Uhaul again.

I would not recommend using the mobile pick up/drop off. I received a response over and over to turn location on on my phone which I keep on and was on when I verified it. Others who did not use mobile pick up/drop off got in and out at this location much faster than I. 4 customers left with their trucks before I did and some of them arrived at the location after me. The sale rep at the store was kind enough to help me drop off and print me a receipt on the return because I would have had to pay a $50 late fee if unable to return on time even though I was there and trying to use the mobile return!

You all should figure away out to extend rentals for customers, without the extra large amount paying out , $75 bucks come on. But shit happens, and we as customers need to rent the u-haul trucks.

Uhaul truck was not clean in the back. Not cleanly swept out. The truck overheated on the trip. Turns out the hose was faulty and losing coolant. Was clearly a preexisting problem prior to rental. We had to buy coolant and a hose repair kit to make the trip. We returned the truck in clean swept condition assuming Uhaul would not want it back in the same condition they gave it to us. We also updated the associate regarding the coolant problem. Not sure if it was addressed or not. But that truck will def not make it back to Texas in that condition on the next one way if it's rented for that.

This has nothing to do with the location, but I'm curious why UHaul had to call another number before they would approve me to rent the truck. I have rented trucks from Uhaul at least 3-4 times in the last year and have never had to do this. It was a little insulting.
