I have no complaints. The men at Bicycle Rack are knowledgable, friendly and a pleasure to work with. The van I rented this time was brand new and in great shape -- much appreciated as one that I had rented previously had a bit of wear and tear, notably a rear door that was difficult to close. What I especially appreciate is that, since I am hauling around fine art, they will do an extra cleaning of the cargo compartment if someone had left it less than perfect. I already have reserved for my next art installation.

I would have thought the Safe Trip fee should be part of the rental and mileage. Also, the rental tax and motor vehicle tax were not disclosed with the estimated costs.

Bicycle Rack: convenient location, nice selection, quick in and out, always a good experience with the owner and staff. UHaul: The 6x12 double axel cargo trailer is a great product but is missing the feature that the people 6x12 open utility trailers have where you can use a crank to raise and lower the attachment hitch off the ground and make attaching and detaching the towing vehicle a lot easier. The 6x12s are heavy trailers and all of them should be equipped with this feature.

The fans for the vent/AC only worked intermittently. I'd estimate less than 5% of the time. It would blow for anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes, then nothing for 10-20 minutes. This caused us to have to turn on the AC rather than just using the vent as there was at least a minimal (and I mean minimal) trickle of cool air seeping from the vents even when the fans weren't blowing. This caused us to use a lot more gas than we would have. Unfortunately, we did not discover this until we were 30 minutes into our travel.

Small business owned by nice people that quickly get you set up and on your way. Generally a good selection of options available, and the location is convenient to routes 33 and 130 as well as the NJ Turnpike.
