App kept freezing - had to re-enter all information. Confirmation of material provided poor. I am a US citizen with a valid address and license but still needed to provide proof. Would rather organize rental with a live human being in person. Whole experience was irritating and aggravating. Will not use mobile rental ever again. Rental started at 2:30p. They falsified the gas tank level. When I took the truck the guage showed under 3/4 tank. The paper work that was printed showed the tank level at 5/8 - 3/4 tank. I returned the truck and he claimed it should have been over 3/4 full. I drove the truck about 6-7 miles. That number was also falsified o. The papersork. The orevious time I rented a truck I specifically declined insurance. Yet they charged me for insurance. Thai dealer is dishonest.LARRY S.

I ordered a cargo van from the 11th street location in Sioux Falls and then my reservation said that there were vans available. The mileage rate for a van was $.69 per mile. I called to make a reservation and I was told there was a ten foot cargo van available at the 11th street location. So, my reservation comes up and it's for a ten foot cargo van on 41st street beds and beds location. First of all, the cab of the van stunk like dogs and was full of gnats. Secondly, the check tire air level light was on. Third, Instead of being charged for $.69 per mile as per my original reservation, I was charged $1.29 per mile and I had to drive more miles to get to the location to pick up the truck than the reservation I thought I made on 11th street location. I should have only been charged $.69 per mile as per my original order. I was told there were no vehicles available at the 11th street location. After I dropped off the stinky truck at the Beds and Beds location, I drove past the 11th street location on my way home. That location had at least a dozen ten foot cargo trucks, and a cargo van sitting in the parking lot. Would I rent another vehicle from Uhaul again? Perhaps, but only in person, not over the phone and certainly not online.Matt B.

Couple of things...I was unaware that I had to download the app to do an electronic checkout in the morning. I was trying to use the desktop version from my phone and it wouldn't find my location which meant I couldn't start the process. I didn't see anywhere that it said the app was needed, so it took me about 20 minutes to get it figured out. If I missed it then that's my bad. Other thing is that I had reserved a dozen moving blankets and got a message the night before that they were out of them. Goes back to the Sienfeld bit where he had a reservation on a rental car, but no car was available when he got there. You took the reservation on the blankets, which meant I should have had a dozen available. If there were none available, don't take the reservation. Other than that, went as smooth as it should have.Chris P.

My email said to pick truck up at 7:30am at mai address. We were there at 730 and td to go pick it my truck at Beds and Beds. We hot there and Beds and zbeds don't open until 10:00. They said I was sent another email telling me to pick it up at Beds snd zbeds at 5;00. I never received such an email. We had planned on being completely moved by noon, in which my grandson had a football game in SF. Because of the situation the two people we were paying to help move backed out. They agreed to let us get truck at 3:00, however, it took us til 5 to find new help and they charged us double. We had no other men to help, so we had to pay the double price. If I ever again need a moving truck, I will think twice about using uhslShirlette L.

Not so much the drop-off location but uhaul the company itself, I understand time and everything like that but charging me for an entire extra day for being 2 hrs late even tho I called to double checked time and they asked me if I could make it by 1pm that day like it wasn't an issue so they charged me not only the rate for the truck and trailer but also the insurance for the day as well customer service was not helpful either and started arguing with me over the phone at that.... double dipping garbage experience this time fixe the policyCasey S.

The signage was almost non existent as I had went by the location and had to call to find out how to get to the location. I pulled in and there is no place to park to go inside to talk to an attendant. There was very little room to maneuver the trailer and my vehicle to park it into a spot. Bad.GAROLD V.

They refunded me for the blankets I did not receive. On a side note, I did have to call Uhaul customer service to let them know about the blanket situation and I was on hold for about an hour. That is not good.ANN H.
The gas gauge in the truck I used was not accurate upon filling so instead of filling it to the 7/8th mark I filled it full. It wasn't until driving back to the drop off that the gauge finally read as full. Customers should be warned about this or it should be full before pickup so the customer doesn't pay for a full tank of gas when they only need to fill it to 7/8th.Valerie B.

Air conditioner of the Vehicle did not work (104* outside) leak transmission fluid so much that we were worried the whole time that it would break down. Had to take the truck back early due to all the issues and they still charged us for days not used. Trash.James M.

I have rented from this location twice now, and both times the customer service has been wonderful both times. I had one concern this time as I rented an enclosed trailer. The door was a bit hard to open. I did have the chance to mention it an employee upon returning the trailer. Fantastic location and staff!!Justin S.
The air conditioning in the unit I rented was not working. Also, the seal around the windshield was loose and made a terrible racket when the vehicle was driven over 45 mph. I can't imagine that was a particularly safe condition. Also, the vehicle did not have as much gas in it when I picked it up as was documented on the rental agreement. I had to put 5.7 gallons of gas in a vehicle that I drove 27 miles. Not impressed!Kristi D.

I had initially booked a uhaul a week in advance for the 2nd st location in Yankton, SD and found out upon arriving at my scheduled time that they did not have a uhaul for me. They called around and found one for me at this location. It was a major inconvenience to have to get a uhual from this location over an hour away but the Sioux Falls location was great and very helpful.April L.
I had to drop after hours and I tried everything to get the website to work so I didn't have to pay the $20 to have them check it in and could not get it to work. There was a clerical error done on the pick up location that messed with the ending mileage of the truck. The staff at this location was extremely helpful; figured out the error; and corrected it.Xavier S.
My frustration comes from the last minute or lack of communication. I went into a place totally different than this one because that's where I stopped in to request a trailer. I waited in line for 25 minutes just to get to the counter and find out, they didn't have a trailer there. I didn't know that they had changed the location AND that the location didn't open until 10 a.m. I had a schedule to keep that day and to be arbitrarily switched is not acceptable. If you had switched me to a location that opened at the same time, it would have been better. As a result, I was more than two hours behind that day. Also- the parking lot that this is in is not very big and can be hard to maneuver getting a trailer in and out. However, the person at the store that came out and hooked up the trailer was very helpful.shane M.
