My moving blankets were forgotten, but we made do without them. Just making sure that everything is included when the trailer is picked up would be awesome. But overall, we had a great experience with U-haul and would most definitely use their services again.Shaylee M.

More communication from the worker to the customer. I still don't have a bill showing what I was charged for. When I returned the truck I asked how long I had the truck and he could not give me any info. He said will email it to you. Jake who handled my reservation overcharged us. I was supposed to be charged $1.09 per mile. I drove the truck 15 miles and was charged for 20. I also got charged for 4 gallons of gas. I should have only been charged for 2 gallons at the most. I just rented a 15 foot truck a few weeks ago and my experience was not this bad. I talked with him about this, and he refused to do anything about the charges. I won't ever go here again. He gives your company a horrible reputation.Margaret M.

The guy at the desk was very friendly, knowledgeable and informed. He gave me his district managers contact information but the manager didn't answer the phone. I have MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS with our UHAUL experience and do not see myself ever working with them again because of it. We have moved 9 times in 10 years and use Uhaul TOO FREQUENTLY. The let downs in this company continue to be endless. Broken equipment twice, staff that blames you for their broken equipment,roadside assistance that is rude && asks you to move from the broken down location to meet up with the roadside assistance to better ASSIST the assistance and not the paying customer!!!! They wanted us to unload our vehicle which would have made our insurance INVALID!!! POOR TRAINING!!! I'D love to have someone from uhaul contact me as i have tried to contact you multiple times.DARREL S.

I dropped the truck off 10 minutes before the building opened at 950am because South Dakota has the highest and most unsafe levels of coronavirus in the country and I am an at risk person due to health conditions. It is absolutely unacceptable to be charged a $20 service fee for "after hours dropoff" and nowhere does it say that this is expected.Kyle S.

1. Trailer not swept out. Dirty bottom/floor. 2. Demonstrate how to close trailer door once opened. 3. Asked to social distance in the store. Totally okay with that. I was wearing a mask and respect that. However, why aren't store employees wearing masks?Tami V.

We got charged extra for some late night return fee. When we checked out they knew we were returning at night. The employee never explained this to us after they charged us an extra $21 I called and all they had to say is that it was in the paper work. Don't listen to the employee, read every single word in the paperwork. Good job beds and beds U-Haul :(Susan S.

Overall, it was a horrible experience. Bed s and Beds, the location on here actually had excellent service but it was the 3rd location Uhaul sent me to. When I processed the online rental, I was asked to go to the Purses to go branch in Sioux Falls. They did not have the equipment. I was then asked to go 923 W 11th street Sioux Falls Branch. Here I met Dontae Christianson who was very impolite and unhelpful with very poor customer service skills. He ignored my questions and I stood in front of he and his colleague for at least 7minutes while they typed away and chatted on the phone. Here I paid for a hitch ball and was meant to pick up the trailer, however Dontae told me non of those was in good order after a 45min wait. He then sent me to Beds and Beds where I picked up. The owner of beds and beds was nice. For the drop off, I had chosen 1200 West Fullerton Avenue, however the contract documents given to me stated to instead drop off at 3250 N Kedzie Av. On getting here, I was unable to complete the drop off as there was no scanner on the door. I then called Uhaul and was told I had to go to my original drop-off location at 1200 W Fullerton!. So somehow, Uhaul always manages to make moving, which is already stressful even that much more stressful!. Abysmal staff and service!. Disappointed yet again!Shola A.

One of the taillights was out. The trailer was was to small for what I was hauling the weight distribution was way off towed for 500 miles at 50 mph. Horrible experience will never use u haul again.lance S.

While my issue is not with the location, it is with U-Haul as a whole. I would not recommend U-Haul from any location at this time. When I reserved my trailer online, it said that the reservation was for 3 days. When I picked up the trailer, the person said it was for three days. When I dropped of the trailer, the guy was confused that their system said it was for only a day, saying that it is normally listed as a 3 day rental. The paperwork I received was for 3 days. Yet, the corporate offices called my after about 26 hours of the rental telling me that I was late with drop off and that I would have to pay more, now that it isn't in on time. They did finally do 2 investigations and determined that it was a glitch. However, when I dropped it off, the guy at the drop off was saying that it was late, even though normally it would be a 3 day rental. He put that I checked in earlier than I did to avoid an extra charge. But still, their system is screwed up and the corporate office would seem to rather harass customers than fix their systems or even offer an apology. I ended up not having to pay a late fee, but will never again return to U-Haul, though I have used them once every year or two. In the future I'lll find a better company to do business with.Theodore D.

Awful. Will never use UHaul again. I received items I didn't order, tried to give them back twice but the originating location would not take them back. I called customer service twice after long waits and finally spoke to a manager who told me to go back to the location a third time to turn in the unwanted items that had been left in my rental truck. She assured me that the location would now take the items back and reimburse me for the charges. That was several hours of effort to give uhaul back items that I never ordered while I should have been packing and moving. Now I have been charged twice for two days for keeping the truck only one extra day. I'm out at least $201 for overages and items I never asked for. The manager on the customer service line (RJ) assured me all would be taken care of. None of it has been taken care of. I finally caved and just paid all charges so I can get on with my life. It's not worth my time or the stress. I'll just never use Uhaul again. My dad, my brothers, and several friends all warned me how awful uhaul is and recommended Penske instead. I used uhaul against their advice. I guess I learned my lesson.Mark B.

Computer billing issues: took a half hour to check out, despite having done the checkout in advance online. They didn't even have me sign a contract because they couldn't generate one. Wouldn't accept a check as alternative payment. Didn't tell me ahead of time to bring cash to compensate for above computer issues. Completely out of adapters to convert 7 slot to 4 post trailer lights. Had to go to hardware store without tail lights to buy the right adapter. I applied online to pick up truck at 8:30 a.m. at one location, only to find out the afternoon before I had to wait until 10 am and go to a completely different location. To improve: 1) make sure locations have alternative (paper) ways to bill, or at least let people know to bring cash if the location has computer issues. 2). Don't let people sign up for a location/time online if it is not available. 3) Stock necessary adapters, or at the very least, let people know they are out of adapters before they arrive.Mark A.

Didn't interact with anyone. Used the app which was clunky and frustrating. First I made the reservation to pick up at the Brandon, SD location was called the day before saying I'd have to drive into Sioux Falls for the truck. Why offer that location if you won't put a truck there? This was a huge inconvenience. Also it had me recheck into the app several times and was not quick or easy on the morning of the move. Once you enter info in the app you shouldn't have to do it 3 more times.Daniel N.

The location service wouldn't work on their app at either end of my rental and the gentlemen seemed put out that he needed to check me in to return my truck. And he wasn't too interested to hear of my truck issues. He reminded to leave my issues to Uhaul not with him so here you go. Disappointed as I felt this truck was a safety hazard. 150930 miles and it needs some repairs!! All the agents on my phone calls were super helpful!Lydia H.
