#1) I signed up for 24/7 share and scheduled my pick up for 8:00AM. I showed up at 8:00 and the app would not let me start the pick up process until the location opened at 9:am. There was a lady in the office but said she would not help us until 9:00Am. So we had to sit there for an hour until she "opened" #2) I called the customer service line where I was told that yes I had signed up for 24/7 Share but that it was an error on U-Haul's end as to why I couldn't retrieve my key and start the 24/7 share process. I was told by the CSR that she was calling the location to tell the attendant to help us even though they weren't open til 9AM. That never happened and we had to wait for over an hour to get help from her. She was very nice but didn't rush to help us when she saw we were having trouble.

You should tell people what size the trucks really are when I called I said I had a 16 foot Penske Rental truck that was a little bit tight I was told that if I got the 17 foot U-Haul I would have more than enough room but in reality the U-Haul truck at 17 ft is much smaller than my Penske truck because of this problem I had to make two trips which cost me more in mileage I'm very disappointed that I just didn't go out of my way and get another Penske

The attendant receiving the trailer and 12 pads was very unhelpful and not at all kind. Told my husband he had to fold each pad or he would be charged an extra fee. She stood by and watched him fold each one, not offering to help and did not have anyone else she was tending too. Oh, and all of this while our 4yr old was in his car seat in the vehicle. We had just traveled in from out of state. Will not recommend this location to anyone

Received a text from the location the day before the truck was due to be returned, stating they would see me the next day and had the truck due an hour earlier than it should have been. I went to drop off ahead of time only to find the location closed via a sign on the door; I called 800-U-HAUL & was told to use the mobile app to return turn; Was in a time crunch and phone battery low, but managed to get it checked in; wasn't given enough miles to cover my one way trip, so had to pay for an extra 3 miles. Ugggg. Bad experience

The manager of the store was rude from the moment we walked in the door. My son and I drove from Houston to Lake Charles to move my elderly mother's things out of storage. I reserved a truck online in advance and called the facility the day before. Explained that we were driving in just for the day and why we were coming. I was assured that the truck would be there and we could have it for 4 hours when we arrived. I called again while we were on our way to give an update. When we arrived the manager was on a call and made us wait, then she raised her voice and said that we could not have the truck for 4 hours and that she had rented it to someone else that afternoon. I tried to explain again and she became more angry. the young woman she was training that day was as shocked as we were and while she was brand new her customer service was fantastic. We will never use this facility again.

They made the customer lift trailer and hook it up. If employees can not lift trailer and hook it up properly they should not be employed for this job. It is your responsibility to lift the trailer and hook it up properly you risk injury to customer who is not trained to lift correctly and to ensure lights,etc are working properly.

U-haul has excellent service. The reservation system online line is easy to use and they give frequent updates and reminders. The pickup location was excellent and so was the drop off location.

unsure why i was charged a "cleaning fee" if my truck was clean. I had moved the furniture pads into the cab instead of back of the truck because it was a drop off and there was no one to receive the truck, but besides that everything was in order.

Office indicated that gas tank was more full than it really was. I did not realize until driving off the lot. Charged me an extra 10 dollars in addition to what I refilled. Total bullshit. Tanya or whatever her name is screwed me over and didn't offer any compensation after I realized I got screwed.

In years past we have used Uhaul on several occasions. This time was not a good experience with the service we received in picking up our trailer. My husband traveled to four different locations. The first location did not have any trailers. The second place said that they had overbooked our trailer and one was sitting in the lot. The guy was very unprofessional. The third place did not have a trailer either. The last place had a trailer and the lady there was very polite given the frustration that was exhibited by my husband because of the other rude and unprofessional people running the locations. Your company seriously needs to screen the personnel that are representing your company and the services you provide. I'm not sure how a trailer can be overbooked, yet there is a trailer sitting at a location. Please contact me for any further questions regarding our experience. We were extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and the scheduling issues that happened with this rental.
