This review is for uhaul online services (not Batteries and Things, INC) - When submitting a preference online for location and time, if your location is going to be changed by 30 miles and your pick up time by 4 hours, the customer should be notified. When these changes occur, the customer should also be contacted so account can be updated so there are no issues when attempting to check in via 24/7 truck share mobile, as this also delayed my trip by 30 additional minutes.Mitchell B.

Doors on truck was frozen up with ice. Had to clean the truck off and let it warm up for at least 30 mins. When I went inside I was offered a ice scraper to clean off the truck. Area was not even plowed were trucks were parked. The concern was to get the 2 trucks that were being transferred a few blocks away for that dealer. Why transfer trucks customer could of easily picked up from this location. So 2 dealers (Rental Pro's and Batteries in more) made a paying customer deal with there own rental. Time to start renting with another companySusan B.

The truck was on empty when I picked it up upon arrival. While I did get a fuel credit (VERY HELPFUL as it essentially paid for the fuel usage for us) it was not convenient to have to fill up before having to meet my moving crew as we were on a tight schedule. The staff was super friendly though and this was a very minor inconvienience. Because of the hours of operation at this location and because I picked up the truck right at opening I completely understand how it happened. Everything else was great!Jennifer D.
chains are not the correct length and very difficult to change. Tongue weight is quite high for me to lift. Chain hooks do not fit a uhaul hitch easily.Thomas F.

When i booked the trailer and was told princeton illinois had ttrailer. Was sent to lasalle which was hassle. Did not have blankets and appliance cart i asked for making our job even harder. The customer service rep was beyond rude when we called on friday. I will never use u haul again. This was my first time using the service and i have never been more frustrated.Barbara B.

The pick up and drop off have excellent people working for you. Your customer service department is very poor, I have dealt with Sprint and Comcast customer service and they have improved 100%. Uhaul has gone in the wrong direction not friendly or helpful at all. I will look into Budget and Penske in the future. I dealt with a Kim in customer service.Ralph R.
Checking out there was no problem. Done smoothly with no problems. Rental was taken on Friday morning and returned Saturday morning again with no problems, or so I thought. I received a call from U-Haul in Springfield IL, on Wednesday afternoon wondering why I hadn't returned the rental. Evidently it was not checked in at Batteries and Things when I returned it. I called and was told they had been busy and hadn't had time. I relayed this to the office that had called who in turn contacted the store. It has now been checked in and a receipt has been received. Very frustrating that it took 4-5 days to check in. Am not sure if I would rent from them againBrain H.

I reserved 5x8 trailer on line for 24 hours and pick up at 4:30 pm. I get to location, the guy (John) that handles U Haul already left for the day. Plus there was no 5x8 trailer there. Another customer returned the trailer late. The guy (John) that handles U Haul rental had to be called to come back to get me My trailer. I didn't get it until 4:55pm. As if my time isn't valuable. Then I get a call around 10am today from this guy (John) asking when I'm returning the trailer. I told him I rented it for 24 hrs and wasn't scheduled to return it until 4:30 pm. Which, technically I shouldn't have had to return it until 4:55 since my time was wasted. He (John) tells me that U Haul messed up and he needs the trailer back for another customer. And he (John) supposedly called U Haul, proceeding to tell me how he (John) cussed out whoever he was talking to. I had to listen to his filthy mouth. He ( John) was dropping the F-bomb and many other inappropriate unprofessional words. So I took the trailer back at 12:30 pm. 4 hrs earlier than I reserved it for. I will Never Ever rent from this place again. I had to interrupt my day. Not to mention, it was very upsetting.Joan R.

We requested a uhaul in Peoria and had to drive to lasalle. We were only given one day notice so we did not have time to look for other options. Customer service from uhaul office was horrible. Would not recommend uhaul to anyone but this location was ok.Michelle S.
One of the tires was really low (at half the pressure it should have been) which I had to fill up myself and there was damage to one of the side fenders that was not noted on pick up and I had to call back to the facility to make sure it was noted so I would not be chargesJeffery P.
