The allotted miles given for the one way trip were only enough for me to get from the pick up location to the drop off location. So considering I had to go to my storage and new apartment I was over the allotted miles and was charged an extra 20+ dollars. The cab itself was obviously not cleaned in a while as there were multiple different spots of dried food and crumbs.

Vera CCharged for 4 days, when it should have been only for 2. It was closed on Sundays even though website showed a drop off time for that day, wasn’t clear about the drop off time for Monday. They didn’t check in the rental until Wednesday AM, even though it has been there since Monday, overcharged by 2 extra days. Was supposed to be less then $80 total, ended up being closer to $200.

Adam MThe pickup location said open 24/7 for self-service U-Haul pick-ups, so I reserved one online to pick up at 5:45pm. When I arrived, I tried to check in on the app but it just kept saying pending approval. I went inside Bastrop Feed & Supply to get help & the girl working said she stops doing U-Hauls @ 5:30pm and that they close and lock the yard gate @ 6pm— which is in conflict with what the website advertises with 24/7 pickup. She reluctantly helped me get the U-Haul, made us sign paperwork and gave us key. She did not do a walk around or check the vehicle at all. In the paperwork, it states the tank was at 3/4 full. When we got into the vehicle it was almost empty so we went back to the business door and she was locking it up and leaving. We told her about the gas being lower than what the paperwork stated and she said she would put a comment in the system for us about that. Well, she didn’t. We went to turn in the U-Haul in Ankeny, Iowa and they said she did not put any comments about the gas level being lower than the paperwork said. 10/10 would NOT recommend Bastrop Feed & Supply for U-Hauls. They don’t even check or maintain the vehicles and have poor customer service, giving U-Haul company a negative image for customers that use them.

roger sThis has nothing to do with this location, but it doesn't appear that there is anywhere for me to post my complaint. This location was excellent and I would highly recommend, but Uhaul corporate needs to figure some things out. I booked this uhaul 2 months in advance. They changed my pickup location to another in Austin which is fine, but then changed it to 30 miles outside of Austin. They credited me 3 out of my 4 days and ~25 miles but it still ended up costing me more to do the rental because it was a "One Way." I called there customer support line and the woman on the phone could have cared less. Normally I don't shop around but since I can't count on Uhaul to have any trucks on what is definitely not a busy moving weekend I'll definitely look into other options.

MARCUS CI was scheduled for a pick-up at MJ Feed & Hardware in Dale Texas. Their network was down and could not honor my reservation. Seems like there should be a redundant system. Customer service was excellent and helped me find what I needed at Bastrop Feed & Supply.
Loren SThe pick up location (78411)was a in a different zip code then where my personal property was to be moved from(78418). Milage (240)was based on unsatisfactory road conditions route. I chose a route that had less road construction, via Google maps. These two things caused me to go over in milage. Please consider reimbursing for the extra milage costs

Domynik HI would recommend that you have the equipment that has been ordered and verified by uhaul. They did not have the furniture covers or the dolly that was ordered through the website. This was ordered well in advance of the pickup date.
Chance ATighten the trailer hitch better so it doesn't come off when we are driving next time ...that was fucking scary And for it to not be secure...it took forever like 4 hours to get the trailer attached to the hitch
