No call recieved to inform me of a change to pickup location. Did not return my call after two messages left. Upon arriving at location, no one was there and doors locked. After calling once again, someone finally showed but didn't go over truck with me. I recorded several unmarked dings, dents, and scratches.

Bryan WeekleyThis is on Uhaul not the individual rental location, they made us have 2 extra forms of verification we were unaware we needed. They would call 2 people of your choice but you cannot use your own number or the drivers, or they could call your employer to verify, a passport (which we could have brought had we known), or a copy of your lease. It took a while before they made any of the calls. Then we had to go through the rest of the check in process and the code they gave us for the lock to get the key was wrong. Was on hold with uhaul for almost an hour. In the meantime on my husband's phone we called the place and the answering service got us the correct code on the 2nd phone call. All in all it took over an hour to check in. The rest of the rental process was fine.

Gene DoddThere was a miscommunication with the specific type of trailer needed. There also was a price difference as well. However it was corrected in my favor thanks to Jeff the general manager for uhaul. Overall a very positive rental experience.
Steven DotyMake sure that what you pay for is available. Don't schedule someone on the day and and hour after you are suppose to turn in the truck. Make sure that there is at least 1/4 a tank of gas

Brandon RickettsPosted hours showed 8am opening time.... Scheduled a pickup for 8am. No one arrived at that location until after 9am. When I reserved the trailer on line I did not want the extra insurance for $4o because my FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE will cover anything I tow. It was added to the charges I found out after checking my bank account.

Alan LarsonI do not have an issue with this place. However, U-Haul originally sent me to a place guaranteed to have the trailer I needed. Website even stated they would reimburse me $50 if not there. It wasn’t there. In fact, the owner of that place stated she had not had a trailer like the one reserved for months. She contacted U-Haul and they directed me to this place another 7 miles out of my way. Very frustrating plus no one has stated I getting reimbursed my $50

Jesus MartinezThe trailer hitch coupling was made ti fit multiple hitch ball sizes (I guess, that's what I was told). So the trailer bounced around on my hitch on every bump to the destination. I don't think that was a good design. Please feel free to contact me with questions.

Davy DarnellThey could try to not let their actual feelings show through when they're dealing with the public. Also they could benefit from taking customer service classes. They aren't horrible but they do act like you're wasting their time a little bit once you ask too many questions for their liking.
Breyenne ThompsonI am calling to discuss the pick up disaster after I write this comment. We scheduled pick up at 8:00 am. The owner of Bannister Tire did not show up until 10:00. His employees notified him we were there, but he still did not arrive until 10:00. Having to wait 2 hours is unacceptable. It took him 15 minutes to locate the keys. He said very little to me and did not apologize for making us wait. He told me we didn't need to do anything since we scheduled online. We received a confirmation text after 5:00 pm. We had already dropped the truck off by then. We were trying to move at a time when we would not be in the rain due to storms forecasted. The person helping us unload in Columbia could only help us between 10:00 to 11:00 am in Columbia. Because Bannister put us 2 hours behind, we moved furniture in a downpour and without the help we had arranged. We will not be using U-Haul again. I have since read other similar comments online about what we experienced. I am not sure why you continue to allow that company be a pick up location. It is a reflection on U-Haul.
James BeachThere was computer issues and had to start the process over after doing everything on line. Waited for over 10 minutes for someone to even come to the desk.
Esther HoagHad reservation for a truck and appliance dolly. No appliance dolly's available at this location. I will have to contact U-Haul to find one at another location. Got the keys to the truck and when I started the truck I soon discovered that the catalytic converter had been stolen. U-Haul has installed a steel cages around the converter, someone cut through the cage and removed it. There was only one other truck available at this location, but it was a larger truck. After several phone calls to U-Haul and the owner of the location, I was allowed to get the larger truck at the same price.. It took 2 hours for U-Haul to locate an appliance dolly that I had to drive 40 miles round trip to get it. U-Haul does not have a system to check the inventory at the rental location. ( At least not one that works. ) I have used U-Haul for years moving all over this country( military ) and have had smaller problems. This problem was a major one. I will not use U-Haul again.

I did eventually speak to someone named Joe and he was soo kind to still allow me to rent the equipment. I strongly recommend Bannister Truck and Tire service for the willingness to help me even though I was late

Jack CrabtreeWe dropped off truck after hours. It was a truck and tire repair location , maybe using Uhaul services as an after thought. It was a typical business of this kind. Kind of industrial . It was not junked up in anyway, just not the typical Uhaul business. Dropping off was ok, but if I had to pick up from that location I would try to find a different one.
Charlotte GandyI was assured that I would be able to pick up my vehicle at a specific time that was critical to my meeting. I even checked in online to speed the process. The person was supposed to be at work by 7:00 or 7:30 am and give me a call or text when and where the vehicle was to be picked up. This did not happen. I had to call and have him called at home to show up. I made it a point that I had to pick up the vehicle by 9:00 am. It did not happen. I ended up leaving 20 minutes later and was late to my appointment. Then I was forced to rent a vehicle that wasn't my choice. The vehicle was way to big, and cost more than the vehicle I originally requested. It also used a lot of gas. That of course I was required to put back in at drop off. Also the vehicle's engine shut down once during the trip which was dangerous. I wish this could have gone better for me, as I and my family have used uhaul for most of my life.

David GillThere is only one person available to fill out the paper work and he was not there so i had to wait almost an hour for him to get back so i could get my rental i was very dissatisfied because i was on a time schedule and was over an hour and a half behind waiting on him.
The truck I ordered was at a different location. This location was a hour out of the way. I suggest that if someone makes a reservation for a truck that the location requested HAS THE TRUCK.

james buchananMake sure that the associate responsible for reservations actually shows up to work on time. The associate was 1 hour and 45 minutes late for our reservation and we did not leave with the truck until another 45 minutes had passed due to "system problems." This caused us to be delayed by 2.5 hours so we had to unload the truck at 12am.

JUDITH MOFFWhile the pick-up location was first-class, I had a HUGE problem with everything else. I scheduled a pick-up for 9am online and the morning if I received a text saying pick-up was 12 noon. Not acceptable. Called and they had another truck at another location but pick up was 10. I then asked if there was a truck in the direction I was headed and there was and I was booked for that truck. I showed up to get it and the dealer wasn't there! And there was one truck and another customer scheduled to get it too! So we were sent to several other dealers and no trucks to be found. Eventually corporate found one in a third city and we were able to finally get a truck at 12pm (3 hours / 3 cities past our original booking) #BadExperience
Chris GillYes we need refund. The truck kept running out of brake fluid while we were driving and we had end early take it back for safety reasons. Bad bad truck. The facility its self was ran well and had excellence in customer service
Erin ColeThe time that it took for me too rent a trailer from start to finish was over an hour. The computer already had some of my information but every time they tried to bill my card the computer would go down and they would start all over again. There has to be a faster way. I've been renting from another dealer alot here lately for business but the time issue is killing me.
