Don't rent trucks to be taken on the ferry in the summer. Yesterday my rental almost didn't happen because I was on a tight timeline and the prior renter not only missed the earlier boat, but the next boat was 25 minutes late. Be ready, don't make me wait. I waited when I showed up I waited when I left. This is Bainbridge. We don't wait for things here. Our service industry (which I am a part of) gets shit done asap. Two weeks ago I got fucked on a job because this location didn't have the truck ready when it was reserved. We were an hour late and we all got docked pay because of it.IGNACIO C.
Rented a pick-up truck for a day via the national service, it was smooth with a pleasant representative. The fella at the local facility was knowledgeable, and friendly. Service was prompt, return as well. What's not to like. Happy camper.DAVID S.

I realize this is out of their control, but it is absolutely idiotic that Uhaul would take a truck out of service the same damn day I booked it for a move. Maybe also don't ever do maintenance on trucks on Fridays or weekends, as that's when people move?Samantha C.

Goggle Maps trys to send you to the back side which doesnt work. The staff is aware. The fix is to head for Sakai Intermediate School. U-Haul is directly across the road (Sportsmens Club).paul G.

I called and rented a dolly with the truck to move a side by side refrigerator. The sky was too small to do the job and I ended up not using it. Next time, tell the customer whether the item rented will be appropriate for the intended use. Also, the truck didn't have a ramp. I would have rented a different truck had I known.FRANCOIS F.

The rental place is fine. I was really embarrassed when the location called me mid-drive because my rental wasn't â€œcompletedâ€ even though the app moved me through confirmation. I even got texts confirming my pickup and rental window. I came back to the app to see that someone was messaging me to upload photos of license and temp license even though I had already done so the day before when both the email and the texts had prompted me to do so. Get that crap sorted out.Jason C.
The assistant manager who helped me with the reservation was great. Very helpful with a positive customer service focus. However, the person who took the return (different from the assistant manager) was curt and unfriendly. Telling me I was late returning the vehicle and it was my fault that they had to rent a different van to another customer. I explained that I was never told that I had to get the van back by an exact time. She begrudgingly accepted this explanation but was still gruff and abrupt. Not a good customer experience.ANDREW F.
I was told that at this location if someone wanted to rent a van for more than 24 hours they said that we should have to go to the Poulsbo location? How inconvenient is this? A rental is a rental no matter who has reserved it. Frustrating.GLEN N.
