Realizing that I booked online an hour before pick up time, the store wasn’t staffed with someone to help as they were on lunch break. This seems to be a one man shop so in the best bet would be to use the online pick up and drop off process.

I paid for 3 dollies and pads however nothing was in the truck upon picking up. Had to go to Lowes to purchase a dolly and pads.James has a not on the business door to call with problems, however phone went to a voice mail box that was full of messages

It was odd when I showed up with the trailer at 1:28 PM local time and the facility was on a lunch break. So I called the number on the door and was told to drop off the trailer and text the trailer number. I sent some pictures, no confirmation was returned. So I had to ask if the return was "Good", I did receive a reply but it felt strange as compared to my earlier experience at pick-up location.

I did a one check in and selected the $11 insurance. My pickup was for 10am but I was running behind due to work and didn’t get to this location until almost 12. Well somehow my contract has no insurance. I was already in a rush and didn’t read over the contract email before leaving location BUT I still have a copy of screenshot from when I did my online reservation. Needless to say the 30 min window after leaving with the trailer I missed out on verifying the insurance although I selected it online. I know it’s my fault for not looking at contract before leaving with trailer but what’s the point of doing online check in if everything will get screwed up upon picking up trailer…

I selected not to have to go to front desk but using the app. When I arrived the app stated it could not locate that I was there, even after changing the settings that the app recommended. When I went inside Jimmy was very nice and professional. He stated that the location does not work a lot of times on the app. He found my appointment online and asked if I still wanted the insurance, which I did. Then he asked to estimate the mileage, which I said more because I thought I would not be charged then. After I told him an estimate he charged by card but I thought I would get back if I had less miles. The truck rode good and I filled up the tank, because you have to leave it as you took it. When I took it back there was a different gentleman there, Charlie, that took my keys. He stated Jimmy was on lunch and he would take care of it. He went outside to take a picture of the dashboard and stated I would receive notification from Jimmy when he returned from lunch, but I never did. As of right now I did not get reimbursed for the less mileage on the truck. They should charge your card on file after you bring the truck back. Overall, I thought my experience with U-haul would be much better.

The 15ft truck I reserved on UHaul.com Was unavailable once we drove 2.5 hours to pick it up so we had to use a 26 ft truck which was unnecessary for the size of our move and very difficult to drive. The owner of the location said to never reserve a truck on your website bc you don’t know what trucks they have available so then what is the point? The whole process was extremely frustrating and added extra stress to our day. Not happy

What the heck... this van was dropped off at Midgard which is the same location as pick up in Rock Hill. I never went to Fort Mill as reflected in the number of miles driven.

I hope in the future there will be opportunities to buy accessories needed to tow trailers. I left my pin needed to tow because I hadn't planned to tow that day. I had to go to another store to get what I needed. I'm sure that will be a future goal.

Personnel were helpful in getting the vehicle off the ramps. However due to a malfunction in removing vehicle off the ramps the trailer hitch leaped forward and damaged the tailgate on my truck. The peron initially didn't want to remove vehicle from ramp because of a previous incident in which he was sued. I told him I would take the chance that it would be ok. Unfortunately that turned out to be a mistake. Because I now have a damaged tailgate. Would U-Haul accept the consequence and have my tail gate repaired?

Wasn’t clear where to drop off and no one was there to help. Went over to office and the guy told me I was good to go and that he’d check in my trailer later. That never happened and I had to call back the next day to get someone to check in my trailer. If I ever used this location again I’d use the drop off in the app to make sure it gets checked in.

This location told me I would receive a fuel credit when I dropped it off if I put too much gas in it. That was NOT the case. I received the truck at 1/4 tank and returned it at 3/4 tank with NO credit for the extra gas. Also, the odometer was wrong but I failed to check that before leaving and got charged for extra mileage.

No one returned either of my phone calls. On top of that, when I went to pick up the trailer, the service rep didn't have a computer because someone took it. He also said that the owners wife took the cell phone with her so he couldn't call her. When I finally reached her to discuss dropping off the trailer after hours she treated me poorly. When I called to say I returned the trailer after hours, no one returned my call so I assume all is okay. This company needs to get their act together.

I was double charged for my rental and had an extra protection coverage added on top of the one I initially bordered. When I called back for a refund I was told to call the 1-800 number. From there it was long waits and tossed around. I just want my refund!!

Charged for 3 gal of gas to my credit card while only driving a total of 81 miles and this was after I put in 8 gal before returning truck. This is only 7.3 mpg. Don't feel this extra $18 charged to my card was fair or necessary.

Pick up truck at 10.40 said I'd be back around 2.30 got back around 3.30 was charged extra day rental. They should have said take 4 whole day just incase!!!!. They said I was short on gas when I returned I'm pretty sure I put more in when returned

They did not offer to assist in unhooking the trailer, did not provide a receipt. I knew they would not process the return correctly. I received a noticed that i had a late return by U-haul and I replied with a date stamped pictures to prove i returned. BBS Auto did not process on their end and I finally received a return receipt 2 weeks after my return. Not a good experience. I called them to confirm the return but never received a return phone call. Never use them in the future.

Only reason for average rating from Excellent is they did not come out and hook up the trailer for my wife and did not do a hitch inspection or lights check, The screw down for the ball needed WD40 to be able to tighten securely and the the trailer lights cable was sliced so NO LIGHTS! I had the cut and splice the cable after my wife drove home with no lights! The people at the rental place were very nice and location very convenient but need to put in a little more effort on pick-up. I would go there again but insist they help to insure you have a safe trip!
